It is a set of modular, implantable metallic components that are compatible with each other and anatomically compatible with the bone. These plates are used for anterior (cervical), lateral, or anterolateral (thoracolumbar) fixation, providing immediate stability and protecting the spinal cord. It consists of titanium 6Al 4V ELI, a biocompatible alloy, and is resistant to corrosion and fatigue.

The Spine Fixation BM Plates system is indicated to promote the fusion of the cervico-thoracic cervical column in situations such as atlanto-axial fracture with instability, cervical luxation, fracture/luxation, cervical pain originated in the disc with discal degeneration, espondilolistese, estenose of the column, tumors. It can be used for posterior setting of the cervical column using the cervical plates, where it will promote an immediate stability and protection of the spinal cord and in the previous setting through the toraco-lumbar plates, in the vertebral column being used for fractures from explosion with the affected canal and tumors in the part of the vertebral body.

The products are made using the league 6Al titanium 4V ELI NBR ISO 5832-3 or ASTM F-136. It is a biocompatible league and it is resistant to the corrosion and fatigue.

This product is supplied non sterile. Before the use they must be esterilized. We recommend the vapor sterilization in Sterilizer in hospital (ISO 11134: 1994 Sterilization of health care products. Requirements for validation and routine control industrial moist heat sterilization).
