1. Cut the corners of the material just a bit so that the material is rolled in with ease.
2. Fit the material along the spiral-shaped groove in the hemmer until the material reaches the position within the reach of
the needle. Then let the needle enter the material, and lower the presser foot.
3. Draw out the ends of the needle and bobbin threads by your left hand, turn the handwheel by hand, and ¢ sew the
material taking care that the appropriate amount of the threads are fed with consistency.
