Carel pCO3 series Technical Manual

Carel pCO3 series is an electronic controller designed in compliance with the European RoHS regulation and offers multiple applications in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector. It ensures the most absolute versatility, allowing the creation of specific products at the customer's request.

pCO3 is dedicated to executing the regulation program and is equipped with the set of terminals necessary for connection to the devices (compressors, fans, etc.). The program and parameters are stored on FLASH-MEMORY and E2prom, allowing them to be maintained even in the event of a power failure (without the need for a back-up battery).

Loading the program can be done via PC (28.8 kbps and 115.2 kbps) or with a special programming key. pCO3 allows the connection to the pLAN local area network (pCO Local Area Network) and can be connected, in addition to other pCO3s, also to all the other controllers of the pCO system and to all the terminals of the pGD family. Each controller in the pLAN network can exchange information (any variable, digital or analog, depending on the application program used) with high transmission speed. Up to 32 units, including pCO controllers and terminals, can be connected in order to share information effectively.
