Frequently asked questions

The processor does not have an on/off switch. Attaching and removing your PowerCel will turn your processor on and off.

It takes approximately 4–5 hours to fully recharge a depleted PowerCel. Your PowerCels do not need to be fully depleted before recharging.

Your processor and headpiece can be cleaned with a lightly dampened lint-free cloth. Care should be taken that water does not drip into any connector or into the microphone.

Immersion in water may damage the processor and headpiece electronics. If your processor gets wet, dry it immediately with a lint-free cloth. Do not use a hairdryer or any other heat source to dry your processor.

If you drop your processor, check that it is functioning properly. For information on checking your system, please refer to the “What to Do If” section of this user guide. If you suspect that your processor has been damaged, contact your audiologist.
