Neither Raptor nor any of its accessories are designed for self-service or repair.
Unauthorized repairs or modification may result in permanent damage and invalidate your warranty coverage. Refer all servicing to Everysight. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way, including but not limited to damage to the power supply cord or plug, being dropped or hit by heavy objects, or exposure to excessive rain or moisture (including immersion or spills).

Maximum ambient temperature for charging mode is 104°F ( 40 °C).

Ideal operating temperatures are 32° to 104° F (0° to 40° C) and Ideal storing temperatures are 14° to 140° F (-10° to 60° C).

Stop using your device for a while if the device is overheated.

Keep away from children and pets; parts can cause injury or damage, including choking
• hazard, if placed in mouth.
Exposures to high audio volume for extended periods may damage your hearing and may distract you while riding; lower the volume to a safe and comfortable level to reduce risks.

Lithium battery and battery disposal information
A lithium-ion battery is used in this device. Inaccurate or improper handling of the Li-Ion rechargeable battery (such as incinerating, deforming, bending, modifying, attempting to insert foreign objects into the battery, shorting the contacts, trying to disassemble, or exposing the battery to water or high temperatures, among other things that are even more obvious) may cause leakage, heat, smoke, explosion, or fire and may result in personal injury and/or damage to property.
YOU MUST NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE THE BATTERY. The battery in this device is not intended to be replaced by the consumer. If you believe the battery is damaged or needs to be replaced, take the device to a service center for inspection and replacement.

If at any time you witness a device being charged starting to balloon, swell up, smoke or heat up, discontinue the charging process immediately, disconnect the device and observe it in a safe place for approximately 15 minutes. Contact manufacturer for service instructions.
Don't leave the device near a fire or heat source or high temperature location; never dispose of in a fire or incinerator.
Don’t leave, charge or use the device in any space where the temperature may exceed 60º C/
140º F.
Don't immerse in or spray the device with water.
Don't pierce the device with any sharp object.
Don't strike with heavy objects or drop the device on any hard surface.
Don't attempt to disassemble or modify the device or charger.
Don't put the device into a microwave or conventional oven, dryer, or high-pressure container.
Stop using the device if it becomes abnormally hot, discolored, or deformed, or if you detect abnormal conditions during use, charging, or storage.

This device contains magnetic materials which might affect the operation of implantable medical devices and therefore should be kept at a distance from persons with any medical device implants in their body. Congratulations on purchasing your brand new Raptor Smartglasses. This Manual will help you become familiar with the Raptor, and allow you to use them in the best manner possible.
What’s in the Box?
Your Raptor comes wrapped in it’s hard carrying case along with :

Getting to Know Your Raptor
Note: Your Raptor comes with Grip Enhancing Adhesives that will help keep your glasses in place and provide extra comfort. They should be placed on the inside of your Temple Arms and over the proximity sensor as shown in the illustration below.
• These areas should be wiped off to ensure that no dust or dirt is present while applying the adhesives
• The Grip Adhesive for that sits over the proximity sensor has space cut out so that the sensor can still function properly, be sure it is aligned to rest against your forehead without covering the proximity sensor
Charging Your Raptor
We send out your Raptor smartglasses partly charged and we recommend that you fully charge them before your first ride.
When the battery is depleted, It should take about two hours to fully charge your Raptor.
When your Raptor is fully charged you'll have up to 8 hours of normal use.
To charge your Raptor, open the USB cover located on the end of your Raptor's left arm. Use the provided Micro-USB wall charging unit and data cable.

When your Raptor is charging, the indicator light located on the underside of the left temple arm hinge (next to the power button) should be active and red.
You’ll know when it is fully charged, when the indicator light changes from red to green.
You can see the battery indicator in the BEAM tm display of your Raptor (When powered on) and in Everysight's APP on your smartphone when connected to your Raptor.

Installing the Everysight App on Your Smartphone
• Download and Install the App from the App store or the Google Play app store
• When the App is installed, sign into the App by using your Gmail account, Facebook account, or by using your email and clicking "create new account".
Turning Your Raptor Smartglasses On
• Press and hold the power button on the underside of the left Temple arm hinge for two seconds, or until the display turns on.
• When Raptor is powered up, it makes a notification sound. If you can't hear the notification sound, please check the volume level of your Raptor.
• Prior to initial setup or if setup is completed but the Raptor shifts from its original position (i.e. you are using a different helmet, shifting of the nosepiece etc.), Raptor display may be distorted or out of focus. Refer to the
"Personal fit" section in this manual to learn how to adjust the display.

Pairing Your Raptor With Your Smartphone
Before continuing with this guide, it is important to pair your Raptor smartglasses with your smartphone (iPhone or Android). Once it is paired using Bluetooth, you will be able to adjust the display on the Raptor smartglasses, load and unload routes, and generally manage your smartglasses.
Pairing Your Raptor With Your iPhone
Follow these steps to pair your Raptor with your iPhone using Bluetooth. Please note that your Raptor actually pairs over Bluetooth twice. The first pairing is to connect to
Everysight's app and the second pairing is to allow phone connectivity (phone calls and messages).
1.
Your Raptor smartglasses will be displaying an image indicating to you that you need to open the Everysight app on your iPhone.Your Raptor's identification number will be shown in the BEAM tm display (Everysight_XXX)
2.
On your iPhone go to Settings > Bluetooth. Look for a device called Everysight_XX . In this example we see Everysight_529.
3.
If there is more than one Raptor device present, make sure to choose the device with the identification number that is displayed in your Raptor device's BEAM tm display.
4.
Tap on your device to start the pairing process.
5.
When prompted, tap Pair to connect your Raptor device to the
App, and complete the first Bluetooth pairing step.

Next the Everysight app will request permission for phone notifications (phone calls and messages). Once you click
‘Setup’, simply follow the instructions on the app.
Hint: If you wish to do this later, you can always change this feature by accessing your settings menu in the Everysight App and selecting ‘Start HFP Setup’
7.
The Raptor's innovative BEAM tm technology display needs to be adjusted to your unique facial structure. The following two steps will ensure a clear and tailored display while using your
Raptor smartglasses.
Please note! Adjustments may need to be made in cases where the Raptor's display is moved (i.e. using a different helmet, shifting of the nosepiece etc.),
7.1.
Adjusting the Raptor's nosepiece for your comfort and the security of your smartglasses. (PUT YOUR
HELMET ON!!)
The goal of this step is to adjust the Raptor for your comfort; make sure that the nosepiece is comfortable, that the Raptor is secured in place and resting flush against your forehead.
The helmet affects the Raptor's position on your face and the display's location accordingly. Therefore,
MAKE SURE YOU ARE WEARING YOUR HELMET with the straps sitting underneath the glasses.
The nosepiece was designed to be adjusted; you can open, close or tilt the nosepiece forward or back for your comfort and security so the Raptor doesn't move while riding.

7.2.
Adjusting the display using the App
The goal of this step is to achieve a clear and complete view of the Raptor's display within the center of your field of vision.
To ensure best view of the display, be in a bright place and look at least 18 ft. into the distance.
The display position may not seem centered if you attempt to adjust the display while looking at a nearby object.
Use the directional arrows in the app to move the
Raptor's display up, down, left or right. Position the display so that you can see it comfortably and within the center of your field of vision.
If you can't fit the complete display into your field of vision, zoom in and out by using the Minus and Plus symbols. The optimal zoom is between 90-100%.
Tip: If the display won't move further in a certain direction, try zooming out further and then continuing to adjust the placement of the display.
7.3.
If after adjusting the display using the app you still feel you are having trouble seeing a clear and complete display, try to repeat steps #7.1 and #7.2 until you reach comfort, security and clear display.
Pairing Your Raptor With Your Android Phone
Follow these steps to pair your Raptor with your Android phone using Bluetooth. You may want your riding helmet nearby to ensure the best possible fit.
1.
Your Raptor smartglasses will be displaying an image indicating to you that you need to open the Everysight app on your iPhone.Your Raptor's identification number will be shown in the BEAM tm display (Everysight_XXX)

On your Android smartphone, you will be asked to turn
Bluetooth on. Click Yes .

Proceed to Connect my Glasses.

On your iPhone go to Settings > Bluetooth. Look for a device called Everysight_XX . In this example we see
Everysight_529.
5.
If there is more than one Raptor device present, make sure to choose the device with the identification number that is displayed in your Raptor device's BEAM tm display.
6.
Tap on your device to start the pairing process.
7.
When prompted, tap Pair to connect your Raptor device to the App, and complete the Bluetooth pairing step.

The following page is requesting permissions for notifications such as SMS and Phone Calls. Once you select
‘Give notifications access’, simply put a checkmark next to the Everysight Application. If you do not wish this feature to be active immediately, you can click ‘Not now’ and edit the permissions later in your Settings and selecting
Enable/Disable Notifications .

Adjusting Your Raptor’s Display Using Your Smartphone after the initial setup
If you wish to adjust the display after the initial setup, you can always use the Raptor app on your Smartphone to adjust the position of the display. Adjusting the display may be needed to improve your experience or in case the case that the Raptor's display is moved (i.e. using a different helmet, shifting of the nosepiece etc.),
Please Note: If you are setting up your Raptor for the first time, please refer to section #5 on this user manual.
Please note: Before continuing with these steps, make sure that you are wearing your riding helmet and Raptor glasses. Make sure that your helmet’s straps are underneath your
Raptor glasses. This is important, otherwise you may get everything setup and then when you put your helmet on, it may move the display out of focus.

Open the Everysight app on your phone. Tap on the information bar, and then tap Display Settings .

Use the directional arrows in the app to move the Raptor's display up, down, left or right. Position the display so that you can see it comfortably and within the center of your field of vision.

Everysight App Settings
The Everysight App allows you to adjust any of the settings relating to connectivity between your phone and Raptor Smartglasses at any time. This gives you complete control over the data and permissions being shared between the devices.

On the iPhone or Android, to access settings: a.
Tap the three bars at the bottom left hand side of the app that say More b.
Then tap Settings

For iPhone users: a.
Phone Calls being sent to the glasses can be turned on or off with the toggle b.
The Phone Notifications toggle can also be turned on or off for notifications such as text messages i.
If you didn’t pair your phone during the
‘stay connected’ portion of your setup to your glasses, scroll down to ‘ Start HFP
Setup’ at the bottom of the settings page c.
You can turn the GPS data pairing with you phone off. i.
Turning off this feature means you won’t be able to track your physical route, distance travelled or use the navigation feature d.
The Ride Notifications toggle is for your phone to send you a notification once your ride has been ended and this can be turned on or off e.
You can show your location and see friends around you by toggling on or off the ‘Live Friends’ feature i.
The ‘Friend Request Interval’ slider indicates how often (in seconds) your app searches for other people using this app ii.
The phone can search as frequently as every 2 seconds, or as infrequently as every 60 seconds f.
The ‘Save Media’ toggle when turned on will save photos that were downloaded from the glasses into the phone’s photo gal lery. i.
If this feature is turned off, pictures and videos will only be saved in the App under media

For Android Users under the Connectivity Tab: a.
See the device you are connected to or Reconfigure with a new device b.
You can also click to enable WiFi to connect the glasses to a WiFi network to complete an Over the
Air (OTA) Update c.
You can turn the GPS data pairing with you phone off. i.
Turning off this feature means you won’t be able to track your physical route, distance travelled or use the navigation feature d.
If your Android phone has a built in barometer, you can use the information provided by the barometer to capture the relevant information e.

Bluetooth Settings can be accessed easily by clicking on Bluetooth Settings g.
The Ride Notifications toggle is for your phone to send you a notification once your ride has been ended and this can be Enabled or Disabled h.
Screen Broadcasting Toggled on or off i.
Screen Broadcasting allows you to see and control what is being displayed by the
BEAM tm technology on your visor but through your app ii.
When toggled on, go back to the main screen iii.
Tap on the Information Bar iv.

You can show your location and see friends around you by toggling on or off the ‘Live Friends’ feature i.

Becoming Familiar With the Raptor Navigation Gestures
One of the main ways of operating the Raptor is via the
Touchpad that is embedded into the right Temple arm.
The Touchpad responds to swiping and tapping gestures in the same way a Touchpad on a laptop does. Using these gestures, you can navigate around the Raptor interface, and perform actions like taking a picture or recording a video.
Tip: Using concise gesture movements will help you to easily learn to control and operate
Raptor.

• Swipe forwards or backwards to rotate the carousel. Use one finger in a long continuous swipe motion. Don’t hold your finger on the touchpad before or after the gesture.
• Tap to select an item. The item that will be selected is always the one that is centered and includes its label.
Swipe down to go back one screen.
• Swipe up is used for specific actions only like disconnecting a sensor or shuffling a song. Please refer to the relevant sections for more information. to deselect an item. For example, if you had previously paired with a
Smartphone, swiping up on the phone’s icon, will deselect it.
• Tap and Hold on any screen to show the list of running apps and have access to Adjustments screen where you can adjust brightness and volume.
• Double Tap on any screen to activate your camera in order to record a video or take a picture. See camera section for more details.

Adjusting Brightness and Volume
Display brightness can be adjusted at any time to fit to different visors, weather and lighting conditions. Raptor's default brightness level is 7 out of 9 (A greater value means a brighter display). Finding the right level of brightness is per individual preference. Indoor or dark environments will require a lower brightness level while a bright environment will require a higher level of brightness.

To access the Brightness or Volume settings, simply Tap and Hold on the touchpad on the side of your Raptor until the running apps menu appears
2.
Swipe to Either Brightness or Volume and Tap to Select a.
In this example, we see that Brightness has been selected as shown by the strength bar indicated at the bottom b.
To adjust the level of brightness, Swipe Forwards for the screen to be brighter, Swipe Backwards for the screen to be less bright.
3.
To Exit the selected feature (i.e. Brightness) Swipe Down a.
This will bring you back to the screen you were on when you initiated step 1.

You can also adjust the brightness level of the display at any time by using voice control. To activate the Voice
Commands, simply say: “ Go Everysight’ ’.
Once active, either say " Brightness up " or " Brightness down " in order to adjust brightness.

Adding/Removing Bluetooth Devices and Sensors (Optional)
You can pair Everysight Raptor with the Raptor Controller and additional Bluetooth sensors like: a Heart Rate Monitor, a power meter, speed, and cadence giving you deeper insight to your rides.

On your Raptor glasses main menu, navigate by swiping the touchpad to Settings . Tap to select.

Once in the Settings menu, navigate to Sensors and
Devices . Tap to select.

Once in the Sensors and Devices menu, navigate to the device or sensor you want to connect to. Tap on the device or sensor type to begin a Bluetooth scan, now swipe until you see your device name and tap on it to pair it with your
Raptor.

Once connected, you will be returned to the sensors and devices menu and the device or sensor you are connected to, will be highlighted in green.

Configure Your Raptor’s Screen Layout
Your Raptor can display up to six customized screens of information and statistics while you are riding. Once setup, you can swipe forward to change between them as you ride.
Each display contains one primary and 4 secondary display fields that can measure up to 7 different metrics, depending on the sensors connected to Raptor
(Speed, cadence, heart rate, power, distance, elevation and time).

A display can also contain the "smart arc" used for navigation rides and workouts. You can choose for each screen separately if you wish to show or hide the smart arc.
Each screen can be defined as either an upper or lower layout, displaying the primary display field on top or bottom of the display. We highly recommend that you'll set up at least one screen of both upper and lower layouts, to see which layout best suits you.
To customize the information and statistics displayed during your ride, follow these steps.
• Go to http://go.Everysight.com
• Sign-in using the same credentials used for the Everysight app on your smartphone.
• Hover the cursor over your name.
• On the drop down menu, Click Screens .
• On the side of the screen you'll see all available screens. Click one of them to modify it.
• To change a data field – simply click on it and select the data type and value from the drop down list, or choose Empty.
• You can add up to 6 screens, and you can delete screens you don’t want anymore.
• You can reorder the screens by dragging and dropping them into position.
• Click the Smart Arc to display or hide it.
• You can choose to have the data displayed high or low on the screen. The default is high.
• Changes will be saved automatically
Just Ride
One of the most popular features of Raptor is the simplicity of being able to "Just Ride" while still being able to track all the information without taking your eyes off the road.
The information displayed is being transferred from your smartphone, Raptor's sensors and external sensors that can be paired with Raptor. To learn more about how to pair your sensors to Raptor , please refer to chapter …. in this manual.
All information is being displayed on up to 6 customizable screens that can be easily accessed during the course of your ride. To learn more about the screens configuration, please refer to chapter …. in this manual.
Maps can be displayed during the course of your ride, and might require that you load

Navigation Ride
Navigation with Raptor is a wonderful experience, allowing you to find your way in an unknown territory without ever slowing down or getting lost again.
Please note: Before going on a ride, make sure that your Raptor is fully charged. It should take about 2 hours to fully charge when the battery is depleted. To learn more about charging Raptor, please refer to chapter …. in this manual.
Download the Map(s)
Before you go on a ride, you should first download the map of the state or country where you will be riding. Depending on where in the world you are riding, this may be an entire country map, or a smaller area like a Province or State map. Your Raptor supports multiple map files and changes automatically between files as you ride across states or regions.
1.
Sign in to Go.everysight.com using the same credentials used to sign in Everysight app on your smartphone. Select downloads on the main menu.
2.
Find the map, or maps that you think you will need for the foreseeable future, and click each map to download it. The map files are normally saved in your web browser’s
Downloads folder.
Copy the Map(s) to Your Raptor
Once you have downloaded one or more map(s) to your computer, you need to copy them over to your Raptor.
Copying Map(s) from Your Apple Mac
Before you attempt to copy the map files from your Mac to your Raptor, you must first install a Free app called Android File Transfer.

This lightweight app allows you to copy files to your Raptor (which happens to be running on the Android mobile operating system). You can find the Android File Transfer app here: https://www.android.com/filetransfer/
1.
Connect your Raptor to your Mac using the provided USB cable.
2.
Launch Android File Transfer (unless it automatically loads). You should see the folder layout of your Raptor.
Browse to the Maps folder.
3.
Open Finder and browse to where you saved the map files.
Drag the map files from Finder into the Maps folder on your Raptor.
Copying Map(s) from Your Windows PC
Follow these steps to copy map files to your Raptor from your Windows PC.
1.
Connect your Raptor to your PC using the provided USB cable.
2.
Open Windows Explorer and look for a device called
EVERYSIGHT . Expand EVERYSIGHT until you see the
Maps folder.
3.
Open a second Windows Explorer window and browse to where you saved the map files. Drag the map files into the
Maps folder on your Raptor.

Create a Route for Your Ride (Optional)
Navigation with Raptor is easy and accurate. You can see a map of your route and provides real time navigation directions as you ride. You can also display the elevation profile of your route, allowing you to see how much of the climb is still ahead. Riding with a route, even on a well-known road, will improve your experience with your Smartglasses.
To navigate using a pre-loaded route, you will need to first load it to your account on go.everysight.com and then, upload it to Raptor smartglasses.
You can import an existing route, convert a previous ride to a route, choose a route from thousands of exiting routes created by the Everysight community or create a new route on your preferred route editor.
The steps below show you how to create a new route in Strava, export it, and import it into your Everysight account. If you don’t already have a Strava account, or you prefer not to create a Strava account, there are alternative ways to create routes or find routes online.
The key to importing routes into your Everysight account is that the route file must be in
GPS Exchange Format (GPX).
1.
Login to your Strava account. Click Dashboards, My
Routes. Click Create New Route . Create your route, and click Save to save the route.
2.
On the My Routes screen, click on the route your just created. Click Export .
3.
On the Export screen, click Download GPX . Choose a location on your computer to save the GPX file.
4.
Use the web browser on your computer to sign in to
Go.everysight.com. On the main menu click Routes and then click the "Upload Route" button.

Choose the GPX file you exported in step 3.
6.
Click Post to add your new route to the list of routes.
Copying the Route to Your Raptor
These steps show you how to copy new or existing routes to your Raptor before you start a navigation ride.

Open the Everysight app. Tap Routes .
2.
Find the route you wish to upload to Raptor.
3.
Tap the menu icon of the route.
4.
Tap "Upload to Raptor" to copy the route to your Raptor.
Once the copy is successful, the Raptor icon will turn green.
You can load raptor with multiple routes simoultenously.
Going for a navigation ride
Now that you have copied over the map files and copied over a route, you are ready to go for a navigation ride.

Workout with Everysight Raptor is more efficient, accurate and helps you to reach your greatest goals. Just like a personal trainer that is coaching you to achieve new heights,
Everysight Raptor is your perfect companion for all of your workouts.
Raptor provides you with real time data of your metrics, including your workout plan.
Metrics can also be taken through external sensors that can be paired with Raptor. To learn more about how to pair your sensors to Raptor, please refer to chapter …. in this manual.

Building Your Training
You can create workouts using the Everysight web site, copy them to your Raptor, and track whether you are on target, under target, or over target while you ride. Your created workouts are broken into time intervals that each have a function (for example warm up or cool down), and a target intensity (for example heart rate, power, speed, or cadence).

The first step in setting up your workouts is to define your
Performance Zones which represent the intensity during workouts (you will only need to set this once)

Log in to go.everysight.com

Hover your cursor over your Username in the upper right hand corner of your screen, select Performance

Here you can set your Max Heart Rate, Functional
Threshold Power (FTP), Typical Speed or Optimal
Cadence

To configure training preferences, hover the cursor your name displayed in the upper-right corner of the screen and select,
Training Settings .

The Training Settings allows you to change the workout display including colors used for the Smart Arc, which indicates your Target Intensity Range, how you are alerted to your progress (i.e. on-screen text or audio prompts), and the tolerances used to generate the real-time training arc that can be customized to suit each type of individual workout.

Click Training to view, edit, and create new workouts.

Creating a Workout

The total Time, Distance or Number of laps will continually be automatically updated while building your workout to help you keep track of the total expected length of your workout.

After Your Ride
After your ride, you can download the media (photos and video) from your Raptor and save or share it, or simply power down your Raptor.
Downloading Media
During your ride you may have taken some photos, or recorded some video. Before you power down your Raptor, you can download that media to the Everysight app on your phone.
1.
In the Everysight app on your phone, tap Media .
2.
The Media screen will show you how many media item(s) there are on your Raptor. You can cjoose to either import the photos/videos from Raptor or to import and delete photos/videos from Raptor at the same time which would free up more memory.
2.1.
If you only import the pictures and choose not to delete them at this point, you can always connect your glasses via USB cable to move, copy or delete files at a later time.
3.
Your Raptor now creates a Wi-Fi HotSpot on itself.
3.1.
For iPhone users:
3.1.1.
You will be instructed to connect your phone to your
Raptor as a Wi-Fi HotSpot.
3.1.2.
The Everysight App places the Wi-Fi password in the clipboard so that you can paste it in the Wi-Fi screen.
3.1.3.
Tap WiFi Settings to see your phone’s Wi -Fi Settings screen.
3.1.4.
Connect to the device that begins with EVS and paste the password when requested.
3.1.5.
Once your phone successfully connects to the
HotSpot, return to the Everysight App to complete the download
3.2.
For Android users:
3.2.1.
You will be connected automatically to the HotSpot created by your Raptor Smartglasses and the download will simply begin

Once the media file(s) are saved to the Everysight app, you can save them to your phone’s storage, and share them easily with apps or social media sites by simply selecting the pictures or videos you wish to share and selecting Share .

Note: Media that was once downloaded and then deleted from the app (but still exist on the glasses) will not download again as new files, they can only be accessed only through USB connection
Powering Down Your Raptor
After your ride and all related actions, it is a good idea to power down your Raptor. This helps preserve the battery power for a shorter charging time for your next ride.
1.
Press and hold the power button for two seconds on the underside of the left Temple Arm to bring up the
Power/Restart/Lock Touch menu.
2.
Swipe left or right until you see Power Off . Tap to power down your Raptor.
3.
Tap the Lock Touch button to lock the touch feature
4.
Swipe down to exit the menu
5.
Press and hold the power button until the countdown is complete for another method of powering down.

Using and Configuring the Raptor’s Camera

Using the Camera is a simple process and can be done at any stage before, during or after your ride. a.
To activate your camera at any time, double tap on the touchpad. b.
You will know that the camera is active when the framing area appears in your field of view. c.

To record a video – when the camera is active, Swipe Backwards.

The video camera will record for 60 seconds ii.

The Everysight app on your phone allows you to control how video is cropped, and the video recording quality.

Using the Everysight app on your phone, tap the Menu icon
(three horizontal lines on the bottom left of the screen), and tap Settings .

If you are using an iPhone, go to Camera Settings
1.2.
If you are using an Android phone, you will need to take the additional step of tapping the Video tab.

For Video Cropping, choose Road to have the cropped from the bottom, or Off Road to have it cropped from the top.

For Video Recording Quality, choose between 480p/30fps,
720p/60fps or 1080p/30fps.

For Photo Quality, choose either Normal (recommended for capturing pictures in motion) or Full 13.2 MP (Great for capturing images while stationary)

Cleaning Your Raptor
You can use a microfiber cloth to clean your Raptor’s visor. If you would like a more thorough cleaning, these steps will describe how to remove the visor.
WARNING: Your Raptor glasses cannot under any circumstances be washed with soap and water. Doing so will cause permanent damage.
1.
Make sure that your Raptor is powered off. See Section 15.2 for instructions on powering down your Raptor.
2.
Hold your Raptor upside down. Simply place one finger between the corner of the visor and the frame and your thumb in the bridge piece over the nose and simply pull on the corner of the visor to remove it from the frame
3.
Wash the visor with lukewarm water and dry with a soft cotton or microfiber cloth. Continue to wipe with a clean & dry cloth until the visor is cleaned to your satisfaction
4.
You can wipe the Optical Module and Camera with a Soft Dry cotton of Microfiber cloth
4.1.
Be sure NOT to get the frame wet as this may void your warranty.
5.
Clip the visor back into the front of the Raptor. After aligning the teeth of the visor correctly, press on the both of the bottom edges of the visor until you hear it click. Make sure the visor seats well and is flush with the inside the frame, otherwise it may come loose when you are in motion.

Interchangeable Visor
Raptor has the ability to be used during the day or during the night by simply switching to from a tinted sun-blocking visor to a clear visor that is perfect for any post dusk ride.
1.
Hold your Raptor upside down. Simply place one finger between the corner of the visor and the frame and your thumb in the bridge piece over the nose and simply pull on the corner of the visor to remove it from the frame

To install the clear visor place it back into the front of the
Raptor
2.1.
After aligning the teeth of the visor with the sides of the bridge, simply begin to press it in to place

Start by applying pressure to one side and once aligned, apply pressure to the opposite side
2.3.
You will hear the visor click into place

Rx Insert for Visor
One of the accessories offered for those who require prescription lenses is the Rx lens insert. These inserts allow those who would otherwise require contacts or specialized prescription riding glasses the ability to get the full AR experience provided by Raptor.
Note: Once receiving the RX insert, you will have to visit your optometrist to have the lenses replaced with the exact shape & size of the lenses we provided, but with your prescription.
1.
The first step is to remove the visor. Hold your Raptor upside down. Simply place one finger between the corner of the visor and the frame and your thumb in the bridge piece over the nose and simply pull on the corner of the visor to remove it from the frame
2.
Remove the existing arc frame by pulling it in from one side of the arc frame towards the middle of the gap where your nose would be
3.
Take the RX Frame and place it in the bridge. Once you hear or feel it click into place, you will know that it’s secure
4.
Now that your prescription lenses are clipped into the bridge, you can replace the visor into the frame
5.
Place the visor with the Rx inserts now attached back into the front of the Raptor
5.1.
After aligning the teeth of the visor with the sides of the bridge, simply begin to press it in to place

Start by applying pressure to one side and once aligned, apply pressure to the opposite side

Getting to Know Your Controller
Your controller was designed to work almost identically to the touchpad located on the side of your glasses. This gives you yet another simple way of controlling your glasses without having to take your hands too far away from the handlebars.
Pairing Your Controller
1.
On your Raptor glasses main menu, navigate by swiping the touchpad to Settings . Tap to select.
2.
Once in the Settings menu, navigate to Sensors and
Devices . Tap to select.
3.
Press the Center button for two seconds and release, a Red
LED light will begin to flash
4.
Once in the Sensors and Devices menu, navigate to the
Controller. Tap on the Controller to begin a Bluetooth scan, now swipe to your device controller (EVS_CTRL_XX) and tap on it to pair it with your Raptor.

RF Exposure Information (SAR)- FCC
This device meets the government’s requirements for exposure to radio waves. This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government.

This device meets the EU requirements (2014/53/EU) on the limitation of exposure of the general public to electromagnetic fields by way of health protection.
The limits are part of extensive recommendations for the protection of the general public. These recommendations have been developed and checked by independent scientific organizations through regular and thorough evaluations of scientific studies. The unit of measurement for the
European Council’s recommended limit for mobile devices is the “Specific Absorption Rate” (SAR), and the SAR limit is 2.0 W/Kg averaged over 10 grams of body tissue. It meets the requirements of the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP).
For next-to-body operation, this device has been tested and meets the ICNRP exposure guidelines and the European Standard EN 62479:2010 and EN 62209-2. SAR is measured with the device directly contacted to the body while transmitting at the highest certified output power level in all frequency bands of the mobile device.
