Frequently asked questions

After receiving the frequency converter, inspect the unit to insure it was not damaged during shipment.

The frequency converter should be stored in the shipping carton before Installation. The drive should be stored properly. Store in a clean, dry place within an ambient temperature range of -20°C to +65°C. If possible, store in an air-conditioned environment where the relative humidity is less than 95%, non-condensing.

The frequency converter should be installed in an environment that is: - protected from rain or moisture - protected from direct sunlight - protected from corrosive gasses or liquids - free from airborne dust or metallic particles - free from vibration - free from magnetic noise - Climate condition: Class 3K3 (temperature between -10°C to 50°C, Operation above 40°C requires good ventilation to avoid overheating.)

The maximum allowable power loss time is between 0.3 to 5.0 seconds, the factory setting is 2.0 seconds.

To reverse the direction of rotation, interchange the connection of any of the two motor leads.
