WARNING

Tip Over Hazard

A child or adult can tip the safe and be killed or seriously injured.

Failure to secure the safe as shown in these instructions can result in death or serious injury to children and adults.

Children should not play with or around the safe at any time.

IMPORTANT

• Record the serial number from the tag on the back of the safe or from the tag on the front bottom corner of the safe.

• Keep keys in a secure place away from children.

• Do not store the back up key, or this document in the safe.

• Do not move this safe using its handle. The handle should only be used for opening and closing the door of the safe.

• Warning: Keep your safe closed and locked at all times when not in use. Children could accidentally be locked inside the safe.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

You must first install the batteries which are located in the front protective Styrofoam.

This safe uses 4 - AAA batteries. Under normal use, batteries will last about 1 year.

NOTE: Do not mix old and new batteries.

Do not mix alkaline, standard or rechargeable batteries.

NOTE: When changing or installing the batteries, do not pull on the wires. Doing this could cause the power supply to become disconnected from the lock.

NOTE: If the batteries are low, the yellow light will flash when you press the scanner.

To replace the batteries, remove the lock faceplate by pressing the tab and turning the cover as shown in the illustration below.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

Open the battery compartment located on the back of the lock faceplate. See illustration below.

After batteries are installed, reattach the faceplate by twisting it on in the opposite direction of the illustration on previous page.

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS

When you first receive your safe there are no recorded fingerprints. For security you must record a fingerprint. Failure to do so will compromise the safety and security of the safe.

You can record up to 20 different fingerprints for opening the safe. For best results, each individual should use their thumb or index finger only.

To record a fingerprint, first press the Reset Button on the inside of the safe. The scanner will turn blue with two beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the green light flashes twice, you will then record the same finger three times as follows:

1. Place your finger on the scanner until there is one beep (if the sound is turned on) and the green light flashes once. Lift your finger off the scanner.

2. Place the same finger on the scanner for a second time, holding the finger in the same position until there is one beep (if the sound is turned on) and the green light flashes once.

Lift your finger off the scanner.

3. Place the same finger on the scanner for a third time, holding the finger in the same position until there is two beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the green light flashes twice.

Lift your finger off the scanner. Your fingerprint is now recorded.

NOTE: The red reset button located on the inside of the door, is covered with a removable red cap. When you use the red reset button while setting your own combination, remove the cap to access the button.

Replace the cap securely over the reset button after setting your combination. Failure to do so will compromise the safety and security of the safe.

SCAN THE SAME FINGER 3X

If the red light flashes three times with three beeps

(if the sound is turned on) your fingerprint did not get recorded and you will have to start over.

If you enter more than 20 fingerprints, the red light will flash 5 times and there will be 5 beeps

(if the sound is turned on).

NOTE: In certain dry climate conditions, your fingerprint may not scan. If your fingerprint did not scan, we recommend moisturizing with minimal lotion and trying again.

OPENING THE SAFE USING YOUR

FINGERPRINT

To open the safe, press the scanner with a recorded finger. The blue light will come on with one beep (if the sound is turned on) and the scan will begin.

If the green light flashes twice with 2 beeps (if the sound is turned on), the scan has been accepted and you will have 5 seconds to turn the handle to open the door.

If the red light flashes once, the scanner did not read your fingerprint and you must try again. If the red light flashes 3 times, the scanner read your fingerprint and did not accept it.

If there are 3 rejected scans, where your fingerprint was read, and the red light flashes 5 times with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on), you will have an automatic lockout for 60 seconds before you can try a scan again. The safe will beep one time (if the sound is turned on) and the green light will flash once when the lockout period is over.

If there is 1 more rejected scan where your fingerprint was read and the red light flashes 5 times with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on), you will have an automatic lockout for 5 minutes before you can try a scan again. The safe will beep one time (if the sound is turned on) and the green light will flash once when the lockout period is over.

CLEARING THE MEMORY

To clear the memory of all recorded fingerprints, locate the reset button on the inside of the safe and press this button for about 5 seconds until the green light flashes 10 times with 10 beeps (if the sound is turned on). All recorded scans will be erased.

NOTE: For security you must record a fingerprint. Failure to do so will compromise the safety and security of the safe.

LOCKING THE SAFE

To lock the safe, close the door and rotate the handle counter clockwise until it stops. If the handle is not turned until it stops, the locking mechanism will not lock.

NOTE ON LOCKING THE SAFE: Because the locking mechanism is deactivated for approximately

3 to 6 seconds after the fingerprint is entered, wait a minimum of 6 seconds from the time the combination is entered to lock the safe.

SELECTING A LOCATION

TURNING THE SOUND OFF/ON

Your safe comes with the beep sound turned on.

To turn the sound off, press the scanner with a recorded fingerprint for 10 seconds until the green light flashes twice.

To turn the sound on, press the scanner with a recorded fingerprint until you hear two beeps and the green light flashes twice.

The safe must be mounted to the floor. For optimal safety and security, the safe should be installed adjacent to a side wall with minimal space on either side of the safe, in an isolated, dry and secure area.

The safe should be flat against the wall and floor.

Remove the baseboard if necessary.

CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PLAY WITH

OR AROUND THE SAFE AT ANY TIME.

SECURING THE SAFE

NOTE: The safe must be secured to the floor.

Use the hardware provided or consult your hardware retailer for fastening hardware for your particular mounting surface.

NOTE: This safe must be mounted to the floor.

Failure to do so will compromise the safety and security of the safe.

Mark the holes to be used. Drill the appropriate diameter and depth of pilot holes depending on the type of hardware being used and the type of mounting surface.

Secure the safe with the fasteners.

BACK UP KEY

A "Back Up Key" has been provided in case the batteries run low. If you lose your key, you may purchase a replacement key be referencing the serial number located on the back of your safe or the front lower right corner. See section regarding replacement keys for further information.

1. Remove the cover by pressing the tab and turning the cover as shown in the illustration. The lock can hang by the connecting cable while unlocking the safe.

2. Insert the key in the key hole and turn clockwise

1/4 turn (until stopped) in order to unlock the safe.

Rotate the handle and open the door.

3. Keep the door open until you have entered a new security code. Before entering your new code, remove the key and screw the cover back in place.

INSTALLATION OF SCOPE STAND-OFF

NOTE: The scope stand-off will function properly for many combinations of guns with scopes.

Screw the scope stand-off into the pilot hole of the barrel rest.

DOOR ORGANIZER

A door organizer is included with this safe. The top tray of the door organizer can be adjusted by removing the two screws and relocating the tray.

MAINTENANCE

Do not use glass cleaners or sprays on this safe.

Clean with a damp cloth.

IMPORTANT

Keep keys in a secure place, away from children. Keep this record of your serial number and key number in a secure place separate from your safe. To order a replacement key set, follow the instructions on the attached form.

Stack-On Products Co. (“Stack-On”) Steel Safes are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original purchase by a consumer. This warranty extends to the initial consumer only.

If you believe there is a defect in material or workmanship in your Steel Safe during the three-year warranty period, please contact our customer service department, by regular mail or email at the address listed below, and include with your correspondence proof of purchase information and the model number of the safe.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA

Primero debe instalar las baterías que se encuentran en la espuma de poliestireno de protección frente.

Esta caja fuerte utiliza 4 - pilas AAA. Bajo uso normal, las pilas duran aproximadamente 1 año.

NOTA: No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas. No mezcle pilas alcalinas , pilas estándar o recargables.

NOTA: Al cambiar o instalar las pilas, no tirar los cables. Hacer esto podría causar que la fuente de alimentación se desconecte de la cerradura.

NOTA: Si las baterías están bajas, la luz amarilla parpadea cuando se pulsa el escáner.

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS

La primera vez que recibe su caja fuerte no hay huellas dactilares registradas. Para mayor seguridad se debe registrar una huella digital. De no hacerlo, pondrá en peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja fuerte.

Puede registrar hasta 20 huellas digitales diferentes para la apertura de la caja fuerte. Para obtener los mejores resultados, cada individuo debe usar su dedo pulgar o

índice solamente.

Para registrar una huella digital, primero pulse el botón de reinicio en el interior de la caja fuerte. El escáner se vuelve azul con dos pitidos ( si el sonido está activado) y el verde luz parpadea dos veces, a continuación, se registrará la misma dedo tres veces como sigue:

1. Coloque el dedo en el escáner hasta que haya un pitido (si el sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea una vez . Levantar el dedo del escáner.

2. Coloque el mismo dedo en el escáner por segunda vez, sostiene el dedo en la misma posición hasta que haya un pitido (si el sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea una vez. Levantar el dedo del escáner.

3. Coloque el mismo dedo en el escáner por tercera vez, sostiene el dedo en la misma posición hasta que haya dos pitidos (si el sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea dos veces. Levantar el dedo del escáner. Su huella digital se registra ahora.

NOTA: El botón de reinicio rojo situado en el interior de la puerta, se cubre con una tapa de color rojo extraíble. Cuando se utiliza el botón de reinicio rojo, mientras que el establecimiento de su propia combinación, retire la tapa para acceder al botón.

Vuelva a colocar la tapa de forma segura sobre el botón de reinicio después de establecer su combinación. De no hacerlo, pondrá en peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja fuerte .

ESCANEAR EL MISMO DEDO 3X

Si la luz roja parpadea tres veces con tres pitidos (si el sonido está activado) su huella digital no consiguió registrada y usted tendrá que empezar de nuevo.

Si introduce más de 20 huellas dactilares, la luz roja parpadeará 5 veces y habrá 5 pitidos (si el sonido está activado).

NOTA: En ciertas condiciones de clima seco, su huella digital no puede escanear. Si su huella digital no se ha escaneado, se recomienda hidratación con loción de mínima y de volver a intentarlo.

ABRIR EL SEGURO USANDO SU

HUELLA

Para abrir la caja de seguridad, pulse el escáner con un dedo registrado. La luz azul se encenderá con un pitido (si el sonido está activado ) y la exploración se iniciará.

Si la luz parpadea en verde dos veces con 2 pitidos (si el sonido está activado), la exploración ha sido aceptada y tendrá 5 segundos para girar la manija para abrir la puerta.

BORRADO DE LA MEMORIA

Para borrar la memoria de todas las huellas digitales registradas, localizar el botón de reinicio en el interior de la caja fuerte y pulsar este botón durante unos 5 segundos hasta que la luz verde parpadea 10 veces con 10 pitidos ( si el sonido está activado). Se borrarán todos los escaneos grabados.

NOTA: Para mayor seguridad se debe registrar una huella digital. De no hacerlo, pondrá en peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja fuerte.

Si la luz roja parpadea una vez, el escáner no leyó su huella digital y tienes que probar de nuevo. Si la luz roja parpadea 3 veces, el escáner lee la huella dactilar y no lo aceptó.

Si hay 3 exploraciones rechazados, donde se leyó su huella digital, y los destellos de luz roja 5 veces con 5 pitidos (si el sonido está activado), tendrá un bloqueo automático durante 60 segundos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un escaneo. La caja fuerte emitirá un pitido (si el sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha terminado.

Si hay 1 exploración más rechazada, donde se leyó la huella dactilar y la luz roja parpadea 5 veces con 5 pitidos (si el sonido está activado), tendrá un bloqueo automático durante 5 minutos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un escaneo. La caja fuerte emitirá un pitido (si el sonido está activado) y la luz verde parpadea una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha terminado.

ACTIVAR EL SONIDO DE

Su caja fuerte viene con el sonido de pitido activado.

Para activar el sonido, pulse el escáner con una huella digital registrada por 10 segundos hasta que la luz verde parpadea dos veces.

Para activar el sonido , pulse el escáner con una huella digital registrada hasta que oiga dos pitidos y la luz verde parpadea dos veces.

BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO

Para bloquear la caja de seguridad, cerrar la puerta y gire la palanca hacia la derecha hasta que se detenga. Si el mango no se activa hasta que se detenga, el mecanismo de bloqueo no se bloqueará.

NOTA SOBRE EL BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO:

Debido a que el mecanismo de bloqueo se desactiva durante aproximadamente 3 a 6 segundos después de que se introduzca la huella digital , esperar un mínimo de 6 segundos desde el momento en que se introduzca la combinación para bloquear la caja fuerte.

SELECCIÓN DE UNA UBICACIÓN

La caja de seguridad tiene que ser montado en el suelo. Para la seguridad y la seguridad óptima, la caja de seguridad debe ser instalado adyacente a una pared lateral con un espacio mínimo a cada lado de la caja de seguridad , en una zona aislada

, seco y seguro.

FIJACIÓN DEL SEGURO

NOTA: La caja fuerte se debe fijar en el suelo.

Utilizar el hardware proporcionado o consulte a su distribuidor de hardware para la fijación del hardware de su superficie de montaje particular.

NOTA: Este seguro se debe montar en el suelo.

De no hacerlo, pondrá en peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja fuerte.

Marcar los agujeros que deben utilizarse. Perforar el diámetro apropiado y la profundidad de los agujeros piloto en función del tipo de hardware que se utilice y del tipo de superficie de montaje.

Fijar la caja fuerte con los sujetadores.

COPIA DE SEGURIDAD CLAVE

Un " Copia de seguridad de clave " se ha proporcionado en caso de que las baterías están bajas. INSTALLATION OF SCOPE STAND-OFF PUERTA ORGANIZADOR
