Dräger PIR 7200 Infrared Gas Transmitter continuously monitors carbon dioxide concentrations in ambient air. It features an analog 4 to 20 mA output signal for measurement operation, a bi-directional serial interface, and an optional HART® interface for configuration and measurement operation. Suitable for use in harsh environments (e.g., offshore). For installation in Ex-areas of Zone 1, 2, or 21, 22 according to device category 2G, 3G, or 2D, 3D, or Class I or II, Div. 1 or 2 hazardous areas. In conjunction with a central device (e.g., Dräger REGARD): Warns of reaching flammable concentrations. Automatically initiates countermeasures that prevent a risk of explosion (e.g., switching on ventilation). Warns of device errors. Special calibration mode (alarm triggering lockout, one-man calibration). In conjunction with the Dräger Polytron 5000 / Dräger Polytron 8000 operating and display device (see Technical Manual, 90 23 886): Displays the measured value. Configures the gas transmitter.
