WARNINGS
• Carefully read the instruction booklet.
• This appliance must be only used in the home.
It must not be used for any other purpose, nor modified or tampered with in any way.
• Before using, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the appliance rating plate located under the motor head.
• Connect the appliance only to power outlets with a minimum rating of 10A. Make sure the outlet is earthed. In the case of appliances with double insulation (see the symbol on the specifications label) earthing is not required.
• Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in use or before performing any maintenance or cleaning operations on the appliance.
• DO NOT clean the appliance with trichloroethylene or other solvents.
• DO NOT tug on the power cord to disconnect the appliance from the mains outlet.
• The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• DO NOT run the appliance over the power cord, to avoid damaging the insulation
• DO NOT vacuum up inflammable or corrosive liquids.
• DO NOT vacuum up matches, ash or cigarette butts when still alight.
• Vacuuming up large quantities of fine ash and dust may compromise the proper operation of the filtering system.
• DO NOT use the appliance if it appears to be faulty.
• Special care must be taken when using the appliance to clean stairs
• For repairs or the purchase of accessories, contact an authorised Service Centre only.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

ASSEMBLY AND PREPARING FOR USE AS A
WET/DRY VACUUM CLEANER
Note: when assembling and preparing for use, make sure that the appliance is NOT plugged into the power outlet.
• Completely lower the handle that blocks the motor head Q (Fig. 1).
• Remove the motor head C (Fig. 2).

• Remove the wet/dry tank E using the handle on the tank (Fig. 3).

Vacuum cleaner operation
• To use the appliance as a vacuum cleaner , a minimum of 2.5 litres of water should be poured into the tank; do not exceed the maximum level of 4 litres marked on the tank.
The suction conveyor G can be removed to simplify filling the tank, (Fig. 4).

The water has the function of filtering the dust, and stopping it from spreading in the environment.
Wet vacuuming operation
When using the appliance as a wet vacuum cleaner , up to 9 litres of water can be held in the tank.
If this maximum limit is exceeded, the safety float R is activated and the appliance will stop vacuuming. In this case, empty the tank, remove the filter from the float, dry it and then put it back in place.
Please note: To use the appliance as a wet vacuum cleaner after having used it as a vacuum cleaner, the tank does not need to be emptied, even if this operation can be performed without water.
• Replace the tank on the trolley N , position the motor head in place and raise the handle that blocks the motor head, until it clicks into place.
• Fit the hose D to the appliance, inserting the end with the bayonet into the inlet port B and then turning it clockwise (Fig. 5). To remove it, simply turn it anticlockwise.
• Fit the telescopic tube H onto the hose grip, pushing it fully into place.
• Fit the accessory required for the operation being performed to the telescopic tube H or directly to the hose grip F .

ACCESSORIES
Multi-function two-position brush
Efficiently removes dust from floors (marble or tiled), rugs or carpets.
When the pedal is pushed towards the "hard floors" symbol ( ), the bristles protrude to clean hard floors more efficiently. This position is recommended for in-depth cleaning of floors and for floors with pronounced joints. When the pedal is pushed towards the "carpets" symbol ( ), the bristles retract and the brush is ready to clean fabric surfaces and delicate floors such as parquet, marble, etc.
Crevice tool
Ideal for collecting crumbs, dust and small deposits and in all hard-to-get-to places.
Round dusting attachment
Articulated to simplify cleaning operations, this is ideal for removing dust from upholstery, furniture, books, curtains, frames and clothes.
Accessory holder
The trolley features 2 slots P for holding the accessories, if required (Fig. 6).
Cord winder
Two guides on the handle block the motor head, and allow the cord to be wound, as shown in
Figure 6.
Multi-function nozzle
Used for cleaning sofas, upholstery, car interiors, drapes, etc.
When cleaning drapes, if required, decrease the suction power by sliding the control on the handgrip of the appliance, so that the hole is fully or partially open.
Wet cleaning brush
Ideal for vacuuming liquids, the brush has a removable frame with a rubber section to facilitate wet vacuuming. To replace the removable frame, press the two small levers on the sides of the frame downwards.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Operation
• Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
• Press the ON/OFF button A to switch on the appliance (the button will light up) The appliance will start.
At this point, the appliance is ready to vacuum.
Mechanical suction power adjustment
The handgrip on the hose is fitted with a mechanical suction power control, allowing the power to be varied quickly and practically by simply moving the slide (Fig. 7). fig. 7

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution: Always disconnect the appliance from the mains outlet before performing any cleaning or maintenance operations.
After the appliance has been used, to ensure maximum hygiene, the accessories should be rinsed by vacuuming up clean water. This will clean the accessories and the inside of the hose.
Always empty out the wet-dry tank after use.
After emptying and rinsing the tank, remove the foam filter, wash it under running water and let it dry completely before re-positioning. Periodically check that the float is free to move (Fig. 8).
To replace it remove the grill that presses against the side levers (Fig. 9).

Replace the filter by positioning correctly in its housing.
Reposition the grid and press lightly into place.
The filter must be kept clean and replaced periodically to ensure the correct operation of the appliance. The filters can be purchased from authorised Service Centres.
The filter must be kept dry to prolong its life.
The filtered air finally passes through a high efficiency filter with the capacity to trap particles of over 3 microns in size. This filter must be replaced if dirty.
PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
• The vacuum cleaner does not start
• No power • Check the power cord, plug and outlet
• The suction power reduces and the noise increases
• The maximum level of water collection has been reached
• Press the ON/OFF button, disconnect the power cord from the mains power supply and empty the water collection tank ( E )
• Nozzle, hose or telescopic tube blocked.
• Check that the nozzles, the vacuum hose or telescopic tube are not blocked and remove any causes of blockage.
• Water is released during wet vacuuming
• Float blocked and/or no float filter ( R ).
• Release the float, clean and/or dry, as required, the foam filter
