Your Wall Mounted Vacuum WMV-1200 has been designed for vacuuming and blowing applications. It is intended for DIY use only.

The electric motor has been designed for 230V and 240V only. Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Note: The supply of 230V and 240V on Ozito tools are interchangeable for
Australia and New Zealand.
This tool is double insulated in accordance with AS/NZS 60745-1,60745-2-2; therefore no earth wire is required.
Check if double insulated or not, also check to which AS/NZS standard it is in accordance with.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified electrician or a power tool repairer in order to avoid a hazard.
Note: Double insulation does not take the place of normal safety precautions when operating this tool. The insulation system is for added protection against injury resulting from a possible electrical insulation failure within the tool.
Using an Extension Lead
Always use an approved extension lead suitable for the power input of this tool.
Before use, inspect the extension lead for signs of damage, wear and ageing.
Replace the extension lead if damaged or defective.

General Power Tool Safety Warnings - Personal Safety

Warning! Read all safety warnings and all instructions.
Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury.
Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" in all of the warnings refers to your mains-operated
(corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
1) Work area safety a) Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents. b) Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
c) Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool.
Distractions can cause you to lose control.
2) Electrical safety a) Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way.
Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools.
Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock. b) Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
c) Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
d) Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply.
Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety a) Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
b) Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energising power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.

A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury. e) Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations. f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts. g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
4) Power tool use and care a) Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application.
The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
b) Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
c) Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally. d) Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users. e) Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tools operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools. f) Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
g) Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions and in the manner intended for the particular type of power tool, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.
5) Service a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. b) If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR VACUUMS
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
It is recommended to use a residual current device with a rated residual current of
30mA or less.
Using an Extension Lead
Always use an approved extension lead suitable for the power input of this tool. Before use, inspect the extension lead for signs of damage, wear and ageing. Replace the extension lead if damaged or defective.
When using an extension lead on a reel, always unwind the lead completely. Use of an extension lead not suitable for the power input of the tool or which is damaged or defective may result in a risk of fire and electric shock.
It is recommended that the extension lead is a maximum of 25m in length. Do Not use multiple extension leads.
• Keep the supply cord dry and out of water.
• Do not aim the hose at other persons or animals.
• Never pick up asbestos or asbestos dust.
• Wood dust and shavings in a confined area can give rise to fire or an explosion.
• Guard against possible ignition sources.
• Do not pick up any material that is burning or smouldering such as metal grinding dust, cigarette ends, matches etc.
• Never try to move the Vacuum via the mains lead.
• Do not vacuum dry matter without the foam filter (31) and filter bag (30) assembled.
• Always switch the unit off before changing attachments, filters and emptying the tank.
• Always use the filter bag (30) provided when vacuuming.

ASSEMBLY
The vacuum can be used in both portable and fixed installations. For portable applications it is recommended to fit the shoulder strap which allows easy transportation. If using the vacuum in one area for the majority of time the shoulder strap does not need to be fitted, in these applications it is recommended to install the vacuum bracket (4) and accessory rack (23).
Fitting the Shoulder Strap to the Vacuum
1. Take one end of the shoulder strap (11) and push down on the silver clip to open the clasp (Fig. 1), attach to the shoulder strap clamps (10) and release the silver clip. Repeat for the opposite end of the shoulder strap (11).

Fig. 2 2. Adjust the length of the shoulder strap (11) by holding the black centre clasp and pulling the strap through to the desired length (Fig. 2).

Mounting the Vacuum Bracket onto the Wall
WARNING! Make sure that within the wall there are no electrical wires, cables, or plumbing pipes in the drilling path.
1. Carefully plan the location on the wall of where you want to mount the vacuum bracket (4). Ensure the mountable surface is solid and strong to withstand the weight of the Vacuum.
2. Using a pencil (not provided), mark the wall through the 3 screw holes in the vacuum bracket (4) (Fig. 3).
3. Remove the vacuum bracket (4) from the wall and drill the 3 holes in the wall.
4. Place a wall plug (29) into each of the 3 drilled holes and push flush with the wall surface.
5. Align the 3 mounting holes in the vacuum bracket (4) with the 3 wall plugs (29).

6. Using a Phillips Head screwdriver (not provided), insert the 3 (M5 x 20) screws
(27) provided by turning in a clockwise direction, do not fully tighten.
7. When all 3 (M5 x 30) screws (27) are loosely inserted, tighten each individual M5 x 30 screw (27).

8. Once the vacuum bracket (4) is securely attached, place the Vacuum into the vacuum bracket (4), ensure the on/off switch (6) is situated at the bottom of the vacuum bracket
(4) and the carry handle (7) is facing outwards (Fig. 4).

9. Securely fasten the Vacuum to the vacuum bracket (4) using the buckle (8) around the top of the vacuum bracket (4). Clip and secure around the buckle (8) and then fasten by pushing the clasp back towards the strap (Fig. 5).

Mounting the Accessory Rack to the Wall
WARNING! Make sure that within the wall there are no electrical wires, cables, or plumbing pipes in the drilling path.
1. Carefully plan the location on the wall of where you want to mount the accessory rack (23). Ensure the mountable surface is solid and strong to withstand the weight of all the accessories.
2. Using a pencil (not provided), mark the wall with the pencil through the five screw holes in the accessory rack (23) (Fig. 6 and 7).

3. Remove the accessory rack (23) from the wall and drill the five holes in the wall.
4. Place a wall plug (28) into each of the 5 drilled holes and align flush with the wall surface.

5. Align the five mounting holes in the accessory rack with the five wall plugs (28).
6. Prior to fixing 2 of the (M4 x 20) screws (26) on the bottom of the accessory rack (23), place the 2 hose brackets (23) behind the accessory rack (16) and fix to the wall with 2 of the (M4 x 20) screws (26) provided.
7. Then fix the remaining 3 (M4 x 20) screws (26) in the remaining 3 holes and fit each one to the wall by turning in a clockwise direction, do not fully tighten.
8. When all five (M4 x 20) screws (26) are loosely inserted, tighten each individual (M4 x 20) screw (26) to securely fasten the accessory rack (23) to the wall.

Fitting the Accessory Brackets and Accessories to the Accessory Rack
1. Once the accessory rack (23) is securely attached, fit each of the 10 accessory brackets (25) into their marked matching insert. For example, the “D” accessory bracket should be slotted into the insert marked “D” on the accessory rack (23). To facilitate fitment of the accessory brackets (25), gently separate each side of the bracket so it can be slotted into the insert (Fig. 8).

2. Each accessory has a designated accessory bracket (25). Use the diagrams on the accessory rack (23) as a guide for where to place each accessory.
OPERATION
Turning the Vacuum On and Off
1. To turn the Vacuum on, push the “I” on the on/off switch (6) (Fig. 9).
2. To turn the Vacuum off, push the “O” on the on/off switch (6) (Fig. 9).
Fitting the Hose
1. Insert the large end of the hose (1) into either the vacuum inlet (2) or the blower outlet (5) (Fig. 10).

Fitting Accessories
1. Insert the desired accessory onto the small end of the hose (1) (Fig. 11).

Using the Vacuum Mode
To use in vacuuming mode, attach the hose (1) with your required accessory to the vacuum inlet (2).
NOTE: When using in vacuuming mode, the blower outlet (5) of the Vacuum will be blowing air. This is a feature that creates a stronger suction when in vacuuming mode.
WARNING! When using in vacuuming mode, always use the foam filter (31) and filter bag (30) supplied, these are fitted to the vacuum.

Using the Vacuum for Detailed Cleaning
1. Attach the micro accessory nozzle (20) to the end of the hose (1) (Fig. 12).

2. Attach the concentrated air funnel (18) to the micro accessory (20) (Fig. 13).

3. Attach the micro crevice tool (17) to the concentrated air funnel (18) to clean hard to reach corners and narrow spaces (Fig. 14).
4. Attach the micro dusting brush (21) to the concentrated air funnel (18) to gently clean and remove remove hair, dirt, dust, lint, etc.

Using the Blower Mode
1. To use the Vacuum in the blowing mode, attach the hose (1) with your required accessory to the blower outlet (5).
NOTE: It is recommended that when using in blowing mode, you remove the filter bag cover (3) foam filter (31) and filter bag (30). This optimises your blowing speed.
2. Remove the filter bag cover (3) by unclipping the 2 securing clips (9) and lifting (Fig. 15).

6. When finished using the blower function, replace the foam filter (30), filter bag (30) and filter bag cover (3) by re-clipping the 2 side securing clips (9). To secure the securing clips (9), line them up with the 2 circular locators on either side of the filter bag cover (3) (Fig. 19).

Recommended Accessory Usage
Various applications require different accessories.
Extension Tubes (15): Reach those hard to reach areas and eliminate bending when vacuuming floors.
Accessory Nozzles (13, 19 and 20): Clean upholstery, carpet, and floor mats of your car’s interior.
Dusting Brush (22): Vacuum car interiors, furniture, blinds, curtains, windows and stairs.
Micro Dusting Brush (21): Clean computers, keyboards, stereo equipment, seams, cup holders and other small devices.
Crevice Tool (14): Cleans narrow, hard-to-reach areas like in between car seats, in corners and skirting boards. Can be used for vacuuming and blowing functions.
Concentrated Air Funnel (18): This accessory concentrates and maximises airflow for vacuuming.
Assists with cleaning keyboards (Fig. 20) and inflation/deflation of inflatable products.

MAINTENANCE
• After each use, blow air through the Vacuum housing to ensure it is free from all dust particles which may build up. Build up of dust particles may cause the Vacuum to overheat and fail.
• If the enclosure of the Vacuum requires cleaning do not use solvents but a moist soft cloth only. Never let any liquid get inside the Vacuum; never immerse any part of the Vacuum into a liquid.
• To prolong the life of the foam filter (31), periodically clear them of dust and debris by giving it a good shake.
• It is recommended that the foam filter (31) is changed on a regular basis when it impairs the suction of blowing performance. Contact Ozito Customer Service for
Spare Parts.
• Empty the filter bag (30) on a regular basis, as required.
• Replace the filter bag (30) if torn or damaged.
