The product you have purchased is a “Wet & Dry” appliance, featuring the “Bagless” system (that is, no dustbags) that uses water to trap the dust and as the first stage of filtering.

WARNINGS
• Carefully read the instruction booklet.
• This appliance must be only used in the home.
It must not be used for any other purpose, nor modified or tampered with in any way.
• Before using, check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage indicated on the appliance rating plate located under the motor head.
• Connect the appliance only to power outlets with a minimum rating of 10A. Make sure the outlet is earthed. In the case of appliances with double insulation (see the symbol on the specifications label) earthing is not required.
• Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in use or before performing any maintenance or cleaning operations on the appliance.
• DO NOT clean the appliance with trichloroethylene or other solvents.
• DO NOT tug on the power cord to disconnect the appliance from the mains outlet.
• The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• DO NOT run the appliance over the power cord, to avoid damaging the insulation
• DO NOT vacuum up inflammable or corrosive liquids.
• DO NOT vacuum up matches, ash or cigarette butts when still alight.
• Vacuuming up large quantities of fine ash and dust may compromise the proper operation of the filtering system.
• DO NOT use the appliance if it appears to be faulty.
• Special care must be taken when using the appliance to clean stairs
• For repairs or the purchase of accessories, contact an authorised Service Centre only.

ASSEMBLY AND PREPARING FOR USE AS A
WET/DRY VACUUM CLEANER
Note: when assembling and preparing for use, make sure that the appliance is NOT plugged into the power outlet.
• Completely lower the handle that blocks the motor head T (Fig. 1).
• Remove the motor head F (Fig. 2).

Vacuum cleaner operation
Mod. WF1500E
• To use the appliance as a vacuum cleaner, a minimum of 2.5 litres of water should be poured into the tank; do not exceed the maximum level of 4 litres marked on the tank.
Mod. WF1300ES
• To use the appliance as a vacuum cleaner, pour 2.5 litres of water into the tank, corresponding to the MAX level marked on the tank.

The suction conveyor J can be removed to simplify filling the tank, (Fig. 4).
The water has the function of filtering the dust, and stopping it from spreading in the environment.
Wet vacuuming operation
When using the appliance as a wet vacuum cleaner, up to 9 litres of water can be held in the tank for the WF1500E models, and up to 6 litres for the WF1300ES models.
If this maximum limit is exceeded, the safety float
U is activated and the appliance will stop vacuuming. In this case, empty the tank, remove the filter from the float, dry it and then put it back in place.
Please note: To use the appliance as a wet vacuum cleaner after having used it as a vacuum cleaner, the tank does not need to be emptied, even if this operation can be performed without water.
• Replace the tank on the trolley Q , position the motor head in place and raise the handle that blocks the motor head, until it clicks into place.
• Fit the hose G to the appliance, inserting the end with the bayonet into the inlet port E and then turning it clockwise (Fig. 5).

To remove it, simply turn it anticlockwise.
• Fit the telescopic tube K onto the hose grip, pushing it fully into place.
• Fit the accessory required for the operation being performed to the telescopic tube K or directly to the hose grip G .
ACCESSORIES
“Explora”
carpet/floor brush (some models only): Cleans dust efficiently from both hard floors or mats and carpet.
Thanks to the articulated fins, this model is particularly suited to cleaning right up close to furniture and into corners.
For cleaning wider areas, simply rotate the brush to use the total width.
Accessory for delicate floors of the “Explora” brush (some models only) The accessory features felt strips for using the brush on delicate surfaces such as parquetry and treated marble.
To fit the accessory to the base of the “EXPLORA” brush, line up the two pins on the accessory with the two holes on the bottom of the brush and press until it clicks into place.

Multi-function two-position brush
(some models only)
This effectively vacuums up dust from both hard floors (marble, tiles) and carpets or rugs. To vacuum on hard floors, move the lever on the brush to position ( ). To vacuum on carpets and rugs, the lever must be pushed to the opposite side ( ).
Multi-function nozzle
Used for cleaning sofas, upholstery, car interiors, drapes, etc.
When cleaning drapes, if required, decrease the suction power by sliding the control on the handgrip of the appliance, so that the hole is fully or partially open.
Crevice tool
Ideal for collecting crumbs, dust and small deposits and in all hard-to-get-to places.
Wet cleaning brush
Ideal for vacuuming liquids, the brush has a removable frame with a rubber section to facilitate wet vacuuming. To replace the removable frame, press the two small levers on the sides of the frame downwards.
Round dusting attachment
Articulated to simplify cleaning operations, this is ideal for removing dust from upholstery, furniture, books, curtains, frames and clothes.
Accessory holder
The trolley features 2 slots S for holding the accessories, if required (Fig. 6).

Cord winder
Two guides on the handle block the motor head, and allow the cord to be wound, as shown in
Figure 6.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Operation
• Plug the appliance into the power outlet.
• Press the ON/OFF button A to switch on the appliance (the button will light up) The appliance will start at maximum power.
At this point, the appliance is ready to vacuum
Electronic suction power adjustment
After having pressed the ON/OFF button, to change the suction power use the 2 buttons B and
C (+ or -), adapting the power to the type of surface being cleaned.
In this way, the maximum power (+) of the appliance can be used when vacuuming dust from carpets or hard floors (marble, ceramics, terracotta etc.) or reduced suction power (-) can be used when cleaning curtains and other light/delicate fabrics.

Mechanical suction power adjustment
The handgrip on the hose is fitted with a mechanical suction power control, allowing the power to be varied quickly and practically by simply moving the slide (Fig. 7).
To activate this function, fill the tank with around
2.5/4 litres of water, and after having plugged the appliance into the outlet, press the purification button D . The corresponding button will light up.
The appliance can also be used as an aroma diffuser. To do this, simply pour a few drops of the required fragrance into the water in the tank, and proceed as described above.
Note: To use the appliance as a purifier, remove the hose G and replace with the intake nozzle X supplied.
The appliance can also be operated in this mode without the trolley, by simply resting the tank on an even surface.
"AUTOCLEAN" FUNCTION (WF1300ES models only)
This function is used to automatically clean the tank.
To activate this function, empty the dirty water out of the tank and then fill it with around 4 litres of clean water and 20 cc (equal to 3 capfuls) of shampoo (Z1). Plug the appliance in and then press button D for at least 4 seconds. This starts the "AUTOCLEAN" function (the LEDs will continue to flash while the function is active): after around 15 minutes, stop the function by pressing the ON/OFF button A. At the end of the operation, empty the tank, shaking it to remove even the most difficult dirt. Rinse the foam filter.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Caution: Always disconnect the appliance from the mains outlet before performing any cleaning or maintenance operations.
After the appliance has been used, to ensure maximum hygiene, the accessories should be rinsed by vacuuming up clean water.
This will clean the accessories and the inside of the hose.

AIR PURIFICATION
This function allows the ambient air to be purified.
The air sucked into the appliance is completely purified by the water and the other filtering stages, and is then discharged into the environment.

Always empty out the wet-dry tank after use.
After emptying and rinsing the tank, remove the foam filter, wash it under running water and let it dry completely before re-positioning. Periodically check that the float is free to move (Fig. 8).
The filter must be kept dry to prolong its life.
The filtered air finally passes through a washable filter and a high efficiency filter with the capacity to trap particles of over 3 microns in size.
To clean the washable filter, remove the grill by pressing the two side tabs (Fig. 9).
Clean the washable filter regularly; this will ensure the long life of the high efficiency filter.
Before repositioning the filter, make sure it is dry.
The high efficiency filter must be replaced when dirty.
Reposition the grill and press it lightly into place.
The washable filter must be kept clean and the high efficiency filter replaced periodically to ensure the correct operation of the appliance. The filters can be purchased from authorised Service
Centres.
WARRANTY
In the event your appliance should require servicing (or for the purchase of parts such as filters, accessories) contact your dealer or an
Authorised Service Centre.
This warranty covers the replacement of defective parts and the cost of labour.
Use only original spare parts and accessories.
This will maintain the appliance in good working order and NOT invalidate the warranty.
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the appliances and accessories supplied without warning.

PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION
• The vacuum cleaner does not start
• No power • Check the power cord, plug and outlet
• The suction power reduces and the noise increases
• The maximum level of water collection has been reached
• Press the ON/OFF button, disconnect the power cord from the mains power supply and empty the water collection tank ( H )
• Nozzle, hose or telescopic tube blocked.
• Check that the nozzles, the vacuum hose or telescopic tube are not blocked and remove any causes of blockage.
• Water is released during wet vacuuming
• Float blocked and/or no float filter ( U ).
• Release the float, clean and/or dry, as required, the foam filter
