Introduction
This guide describes how wireless security is set up on a NBG-419N with firmware 1.00(BFQ.3)C0.
The guide is based on the use of the latest and strongest wireless security for home users WPA2-PSK.
Equipment
NBG-419N
1 Network cable. (RJ-45)
1 PC or MAC
Login
A web-browser I used for configuring the NBG-419N. Some of the web browsers that can be used are
Chrome browser, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Opera, Safari and etc.
To enter the NBG-419N’s web-interface, open the web browser and access http://192.168.1.1/
Enter the login password and click login. The standard password is “1234”.

If this is the first time the router is being configured, the password should be changed.
Enter the new password in both fields, and click Apply.
Enter wireless password
Click on wireless security in the lower right corner.

On the new page, are there a few points which should be completed.
1.
In the “Wireless Network name (SSID)” enter a name for your wireless network.
2.
In the “Security mode” select the WPA2-PSK option.
3.
In the “Wireless password” and “Verify password” enter a password for the wireless network.
4.
Click Apply.
You have now setup wireless security on the NBG-419N.
