Procedure
CAUTION Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can damage or destroy electronic components. All work on electronic assemblies should be performed at a static-safe workstation. Refer to the documentation that pertains to your instrument for information about static-safe workstations and ordering static-safe accessories.
1. Examine the rear of the analyzer to determine if there is a 30 A 32 VDC (1) fuse installed.
2. If the 30 A 32 VDC fuse is present in the instrument, locate the 20 A 32 VDC fuse in this kit.
3. Place the analyzer into standby pressing the front panel Standby button.
4. Disconnect the analyzer from the AC mains power source by removing the power cord (3).
5. Using small needle nose pliers, remove the 30 A 32 VDC fuse by pulling straight out from the back of the analyzer.
6. Insert the two tabs on the 20 A 32 VDC fuse into the fuse holder clips.
7. Locate the 20 A 32 VDC fuse label in this kit.

8. Remove the backing from the label and apply the label to the back panel, covering the 30 A 32 VDC fuse
(2) portion of the existing DC fuse label.
9. Reconnect the AC power cord, restore the AC mains power to the analyzer, and power the analyzer on by pressing the front panel On button.
10. Verify the instrument starts up properly.
11. No additional testing is required.
