Mounting MT380
Mounting Position
The total angle of view of the camera lens is 68.7 degrees. The depth of field is from 350mm to infinity.
Depending on the individual’s height, the average height for the controller installation is 1550mm, so the center of the lens coincides with the line of vision. You can adjust the height accordingly to fit into the angle of view.
Given a distance between the user and controller is 500mm. The focal length of the camera lens about a vertical axis is 550mm at this given distance.
The following sections will describe the two ways to install and mount MT380: In wall and on wall.

Put MT380 on the wall and mark the device location aligning with an average height of 1550mm from the ground level to the center of lens. You can adjust the height accordingly to fit the pantoscopic angle 68.7º.

Take out MT380, drill a rectangle on the wall with dimension W97mm x H225mm x D35mm.

Put the metal frame on the rectangle and mark the four screw holes location. Take out the metal frame, drill the screw holes with size 7/32 inch. Depth of screw: 30mm.

Insert four plastic conical anchors on the screw holes. Screw the metal frame in the wall with mounted screws (STP-35).

Insert the stripped end of the wire into respective terminal block position of the male plug (See
Using Terminal Block on page 14), then tighten the lock screw to secure the wire

Locate the I/O panel on MT380’s rear cover, and remove the I/O panel by twisting a Philips screwdriver on the cross mark.

Insert the terminal block plug into the female socket of MT380 .

Locate four In Wall Mounting Holes on MT380:

Put four Metal Springs on MT380 and screw them with four Screw_FPHM2-5L_TP-P to combine the terminal and metal springs.

10. Put the terminal in the rectangle hole and mount MT380 terminal on the metal frame. (Only the panel of the terminal is exposed)
