If liquids or objects should enter the LCD TV, immediately turn off the power switch, disconnect the power plug from the AC outlet and contact the qualified service personnel.
● Do not place the LCD TV near the bathtub, bathroom, kitchen sink, wet basement or swimming
pool , and the like.
● Do not expose the LCD TV to rain or moisture.
● Do not place flower vases, pots, cups, cosmetics, liquids as water, etc on or around the LCD TV.
● Do not place metals, combustibles, etc on or around the LCD TV.
● Do not drip or splash liquid of any kind on the LCD TV.
Do not give the LCD TV any shock or impact
If the LCD TV should be dropped and/or broken, it could result in an injury, and continued use could result in fire or electrical shock.
If the glass panel is broken or damaged, immediately turn off the power switch, disconnect the power plug from the AC power outlet and contact the qualified service personnel.
Prevent the unit from falling
● Do not allow children to climb on the LCD TV.
● Do not place the LCD TV on a bed, sofa, rug, similar surface. Do not place the LCD TV on an un-
stable cart, stand or table. The LCD TV may fall, causing serious damage to the LCD TV and/or
serious personal injury, death.
● When the product is used on a trolley, care should be taken to avoid quick stops, excessive force,
and uneven surfaces that may cause the product and trolley to overturn.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Do not block any ventilation openings
● The vents and other openings in the cabinet are designed to let hot air escape from the LCD TV.
Do not cover or block these vent s and openings since insufficient ventilation can cause over-
heating. Do not place the LCD TV on a bed, sofa, rug or other similar surface, since they can block ventilation openings, it may overheating and result in fire.
● Do not cover the LCD TV with cloth, such as curtains, or items such as news paper, etc.
● This unit is not designed for built-in installation, do not place the product in an enclosed place such
as a bookcase or rack, unless proper ventilation is provided or the manufacturer’s instructions are
followed.
Avoid high temperature environment
The heat could adversely affect the LCD TV and other parts, and could result in serious overheating or
risk of fire.
● Do not place the LCD TV, the remote control and other parts in direct sunlight or near a hot object
such as heater, etc.
● Do not put the LCD TV in a place where the temperature is widely changing.
Avoid oils
Do not install the LCD TV in a place that uses oil. Dust absorbing oil may enter into the unit and damage the unit .
Power cord protection
Incorrect connection of the power cord could result in fire or electrical shock .
● Do not connect too many appliances to the same mains socket as this could result in fire or electrical
shock .
● The apparatus shall be connected to a mains socket outlet with a protective earthing connection.
● T he socket outlet for connecting mains plug shall be easily accessible and remain readily operable.
● Do not overload wall outlet as this can result in fire or electrical shock.
● Check that the connecting portion of the AC power cord is clean (with no dust), before using. Use a
soft and dry cloth to clean the power plug.
● AC power cord should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items
placed upon or against it. Also do not put any heavy objects on the AC power cord .
● Do not touch the AC power cord with a wet hand .
● Pull out the AC power cord by the plug. Do not pull on the power cord .
● Insert the power plug into a power outlet firmly. Avoid using a loose or damaged outlet.
● Do not pinch, bend, or twist the cable excessively. The core lines may be bared or cut, causing a
short circuit which may induce fire or electrical shock .
● For your own safety, do not touch any part of the unit, power cord or aerial lead during lightning
storms .
● Do not modify the AC power cord .
● Disconnect the power cord if the LCD TV is not used for a long time.
● Switch off and withdraw the power plug before making or changing connections.
Handing and cleaning the screen surface of display unit
To avoid screen degradation, follow points mentioned below. Do not push on or scratch with hard objects, or throw anything at the screen.
The screen may be damaged.
● Be sure to unplug the power cord from outlet before cleaning.
● Do not touch the display panel after operating continuously for a long period as the display panel
becomes hot.
● We recommend that the screen surface is touched as little as possible.
● To remove dust from the screen surface, wipe gently with a clean, soft and cotton-free dry cloth.
● Do not use any type of abrasive pad, alkaline/acid cleaner or strong solvent such as alcohol, thinner
or benzene etc, as the surface may be impaired.
Cleaning the cabinet
● Be sure to unplug the power cord from the outlet before cleaning.
● Clean the cabinet with a soft cloth.
● Note that material deterioration or screen coating degradation may occur if the display unit is ex-
posed to a volatile solvent, such as alcohol, thinner, benzine or insecticide, or if prolonged contact
is maintained with rubber or vinyl materials.

Carrying and moving
● Be sure to always carry the LCD TV carefully holding it with two hands, one hand on each side of the
LCD TV. If you carry the unit in a manner other than that specified, it may drop and a serious injury
may be caused.
Servicing
Do not open the cabinet or remove the rear cover of the unit. If any of the following conditions occurs, unplug the AC power cord from the AC outlet, and contact qualified service personnel.
● When the power cord or plug is damaged.
● When the LCD panel is damaged.
● When the liquid is spilled on the unit or when objects have fallen into the unit.
● When the unit has been exposed to rain or water.
● If the unit has been dropped or the cabinet has been damaged in any way.
● If the unit does not work properly even after you have referred to the
TROUBLESHOOTING
section.
Replacement parts
● In case the unit needs replacement parts, make sure that the service personnel uses replacement
parts specified by the manufacturer, or those with the same characteristics and performance as the
original parts. Use of unauthorized parts can result in fire, electrical shock and/or other danger.
● Upon completion of service or repair work, request the service technician to perform safety checks
to ensure that the unit is in proper operating condition.
Other notices
● Sometimes, the image may have some tiny red, green, blue, white or black spots. This is normal
and does not affect the performance of the LCD TV.
● Due to advanced technology of the LCD TV, giving you fine picture details. Occasionally, a few non-
active pixels may appear on the screen as a fixed point of blue, green, or red. Please note that this
is does not affect the performance of your LCD TV.
● If the unit is used in a cold place, a smear may occur in the picture or the picture may become dark.
This does not indicate a failure. These phenomena improve as the temperature rises.
● In some case, residual images may remain after the short-term display of still images is displayed.
These will disappear in a few minutes, and the display will return to normal. However, if used in high
temperatures, it sometimes spends some tens of minutes to return to normal. Please note that this
is not a malfunction.
● LCD panel are made of finely processed glass, Avoid pushing or hands or a strong impact on the
panel. It may cause damage to the LC cells, and/or there is danger of glass breakage.
● Do not use immediately after moving from a low temperature to a high temperature environment,
as this causes condensation, which may result in fire, electrical shock or other danger.

FRONT PANEL CONTROLS
This TFT-LCD TV/monitor allows you to easily adjust the characteristics of the image being displayed.
While you use these buttons to adjust the controls, the OSD (on-screen-display) will show you their numeric values as they change.

Enter or exit from the menu.
When you watch the TV program, push this button to decrease channel number. In the main-menu, push this button to select the downward menu item.

Switch on the LCD TV/monitor when at standby mode or vice versa.
Decrease/adjust the values of the selected menu item, or decrease the level of audio volume.

Illuminates red in standby mode.

All the functions can be control with the remote control. Some functions can also be adjusted with the buttons on the front panel of the set.

BASIC CONNECTION
BATTERY INSTALLATION
Insert the batteries while observing the correct (+) and (-) polarities as illustrated below.
About the batteries
● If the remote control unit fails to work even when it is operated near the LCD TV, please
replace the batteries.
● Use size UM 4 ( AAA ) batteries .
Note :
● Do not use rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries.
● Do not attempt to recharge, short circuit, disassemble , heat or throw the batteries into the fire .
● Do not splash the remote control with water or put it on a wet object .
● Do not drop, step on or cause any impact to the remote control unit. This may damage it,
resulting in malfunction.
● Do not mix old and new batteries.
● If the remote control unit is not going to be used for a long time, remove the batteries .
● Strong light such as direct sunlight falling on the remote sensor can cause operational
failure. Place the remote control to avoid direct contact with sunlight.
Batteries should never be thrown away or incinerated but disposed of in accordance with your
local regulations concerning chemical wastes.
Caution
Keep batteries out of children’s reach. If batteries are swallowed, contact a physician immediately.

BASIC OPERATION
SWITCHING THE LCD TV ON/OFF
1. Press the button on the front panel or the STANDBY button on the remote controller to
switch it on or to standby mode.
2. If the unit is in standby mode, press the STANDBY button on the remote controller to switch
it on.
3. Press the STANDBY button on the remote controller, the unit will revert to standby mode.
Note
:
If, while the unit is switched on, the mains plug is disconnected, the unit will switch to standby when the mains plug is replaced in the mains power socket again.
CHOOSING A TV CHANNEL
Using the CH+
/
CH-button on the front panel, or the p / q button on the remote control.
Press the

or p button to increase channel number.
Press the

or q button to decrease channel number.
Using 0-9 digital buttons
You can select the channel number directly by pressing 0 to 9 buttons .
Example :
To select 1-digit channel (e.g. Channel 5):
● Press the -/-- button repeatedly to display “-” then press 5 button.
To select 2-digit channel (e.g. Channel 20):
● Press the -/-- button repeatedly to display “--” then press 2, follow by 0.
ADJUSTING THE VOLUME
Press the VOL+/- button to increase or decrease the volume
The volume indicator appears and the volume changes as you press the VOLUME +/- buttons.
Using Mute
At any time, you can temporarily cut off the sound using the MUTE button.
1. Press the MUTE button and the sound cuts off. The icon will appear in the low-left corner of
the screen.
2. To turn mute off, press the MUTE button again or simply press either the VOL+ button .

You can modify certain parameters of the LCD-TV in the menu system. Please read the following descriptions to get an understanding of each adjustable parameter.

AFC
: Auto frequence control. Press the button improve the image quality
FINE TUNE: If the image received is not very good, you can press p / q to select Fine Tuning item in menu.
Then press t / u button to adjust and improve the image quality.
DELETE : Delete the current program.
SWAP : SWAP function allows you to arrange the channel numbers by exchanging between 2 preset channels. In the sub-menu of SWAP, the following items can be selected:
FROM: To select the channel number that you want to
exchange from by using t / u button.
TO: To select the channel number that you want to
exchange to by using t / u button.
SWAP: Confirm to swap the channels by using t / u
button.
MANUAL SEARCH: Manual search the channel.
AUTO SEARCH:
Auto search and save the channel.

TELETEXT FUNCTION (OPTION)
Teletext is an optional function, therefore only certain models can receive the teletext broadcast.
Teletext is a free broadcast service by most TV stations which give up-to-the-minute information on news, weather, television program, share prices and many other topics.
Display Teletext
1. Select a TV station with teletext signal.
2. Press the TEXT button to enter Teletext signal.
3. Press the TEXT button again to return to the normal TV mode.
Page Selection
1. Enter the desired page number (three digit) using the number buttons.
If you press a wrong number during input, you must complete the three digit number and then
re-enter the correct page number.
2. The p / q button can be used to select the preceding or following page.
MIX(optional)
This function enables you to superimpose the Teletext page over the TV program.
1.When a page is displayed, press the MIX button. The TV picture will appear with the TEXT page.
2.Press the MIX button again to return to the normal Text mode.
HOLD
You can press the HOLD button to hold a page, and press this button again to release the page.
INDEX
Press the INDEX button to enter the main index page directly.
You may enter the main index page number directly using the number buttons.
CANCEL
If you want to watch TV, but not cancel the TELETEXT mode completely, press the CANCEL button. When the last selected page is updated, the page number is shown at the top of the TV screen. Press the TEXT or CANCEL button to reveal the page.
Enlarging Text
When a page is displayed, you can double the size of the text to make it easier to read.
1. Press the SIZE button to enlarge the top half of the page.
2. Press the SIZE button again to enlarge the bottom half of the page.
3. Press this button once more to return to the normal display.
Reveal mode
You can display concealed teletext information (e.g. Answer to puzzles or riddles etc.) by pressing this button. Press this button again to remove the information from the display.
SUBPAGE
Some teletext pages may contain several sub-pages which are automatically paged in a certain cycle by the TV station.
1. You can enter to a certain sub page by pressing the SUBPAGE button directly and select the
page number with the number buttons. Enter the subpage number (e.g. 0003) for the third sub-
page.
2. Press the SUBPAGE button again to exit the sub page mode.
3. Press the TEXT button to return to the normal TV mode.

ABOUT THE DISC
DISC HANDLING
Handling precautions
● Hold the disc by the edges so the surface will not be
soiled with fingerprints. Fingerprints, dirt and
scratches can cause skipping and distortion.
● Do not write on the label side.
● When i nsert the Disc to the Disc slot, printed side of
the disc must in front of you.
● Do not use record cleaning sprays, benzine, thinner,
static electricity prevention liquids or any other solvent.
● Be careful not to drop or bens the disc.
● Do not install more than 1 disc.
● Store the disc in its case when not in use.
If the surface is soiled
● Wipe gently with a soft, damp(water only) cloth.
● When wiping discs wipe from the center toward the
outer edge.(If you wipe using a circular motion,
circular scratches can occur, which will cause noise.)
If the disc is brought from a cold to a warm environment, moisture may form on the disc
● Wipe with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth before using the disc.

BASIC OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PLAY THE DISC
1.DVD on
Turn on the LCD TV, switch to the DVD mode for the DVD operation.
2.Insert Disc
Insert the Disc to the Disc slot (printed side of the disc in front of you), the player will load the disc automatically. There will have an on screen indication “CLOSE” then “READ”. After loading the disc content, it will switch to play mode automatically. If the disc is already placed inside, the disc will be read automatically.
Note 1: For some discs, after loading the content of the disc, need to press PLAY or select from the
disc menu to start.
2: Please make sure when inserting the Disc, the printed side of the disc should be facing you.
When inserting the Disc incorrectly, you may damage the DVD mechanism.
3.Play
According to the disc content, the disc menu will display for your selection. When playing the disc, you may use PAUSE button to toggle between Play and Pause mode. This product also supports
Menu, Title, Sequential and Program playback.
MENU PLAYBACK
1.Menu Playback (For DVD, Super VCD and VCD2.0 discs)
<1> Press MENU button
● For DVD discs, the screen will display the DVD Disc Menu (Root Menu)
● For Super VCD & VCD2.0 discs, the screen will display the Super VCD, VCD2.0 Disc Menu
(PBC: [OFF]) (Press the MENU button to display the PBC status.)
● Playback the Super VCD & VCD2.0 discs, the default PBC status is ON.
<2> For DVD discs, use the navigation buttons to select and Play the highlighted contents;
For Super VCD & VCD2.0 discs, use the numeric buttons to play your favorite content directly.
(note: PBC should be OFF.)
<3> Press ENTER or PLAY button to start from the highlighted content.
<4> Return to the Root Menu when playing the disc
● For DVD discs, press MENU to display the Disc Menu.
● For Super VCD & VCD2.0 discs, when PBC is ON, press MENU to display the Disc Menu.
<5> STOP
● Press STOP button once to stop. Press PLAY button to resume from where you stopped.
● Press STOP button Twice to stop. Press PLAY button to start from beginning.
In order to protect the disc, press STOP button then press EJECT button to take the disc out. When the disc is ejected, hold the disc edge slightly and take it from the eject direction to prevent scratches.
When not using the DVD function (in stand-by mode or using others modes for a long time), please take out the disc to protect the DVD loader and the disc.

TITLE PLAYBACK
Title Playback For DVD Disc only.
● Press TITLE button , there will have an on screen indication “TITLE”.
● Press the direction or numeric buttons to select your favorite title.
● Then will play from the first chapter of the selected title.
SEQUENTIAL PLAYBACK
Sequential Playback for DVD, Super VCD, VCD, CD, CD-G, HD-CD, MP3/JPEG discs.
For Super VCD & VCD discs, if PBC is “ON” status, press PLAY button will enter the disc menu.
Press MENU button to turn PBC OFF. Press PLAY button to start in sequent.
For Others, while it stopped, press PLAY button to start in sequent.
PROGRAM PLAYBACK
Program Playback for DVD, Super VCD, VCD, CD, CD-G, HD-CD, MP3/JPEG discs.
Using Program playback, you can select max. 16 tracks from the disc to playback in programmed order.

If it is in PBC ON status, using program playback will turn to PBC OFF automatically.
According to the highlight area input the title and chapter number by numeric buttons, press PLAY button to start; or move to the <PLAY> by navigation buttons, press ENTER button to start.
(Program up to 16 tracks)
While playing the program, you may press PROGRAM button to display the program menu for edit.
To clear the program by moving to <CLEAR> and press ENTER button. Or press STOP button to end the program. When press PLAY button again, the disc will play by sequent.
While playing the program, there will have an on screen indication “PRG PLAY” and the current title and chapter number.

your favorite title directly with title selection by pressing the TITLE button.
● For Super VCD & VCD discs, while playing the disc, you may play your favorite tracks by numeric
buttons. (Note: When using the Program playback or when it is PCB ON status, you can only use
PREV or NEXT buttons to change the track)
● For CD, CD-G & HD-CD discs, while playing the disc, you may play your favorite tracks by
numeric buttons.
● For MP3 / JPEG disc, you may play your favorite tracks by numeric buttons from the content menu.
Note: From track 1-10, use numeric buttons directly; For tracks over 10, press - / -- button first.

According to the highlighted area, input your favorite Title / chapter / Track number by numeric buttons or input the playback time. After editing, press ENTER to start. If the input is invalid, it will not function.
Note
: While editing, the GOTO button is not function.
If it is in PBC ON status, this function will switch the it to OFF.
Audio
(For Super VCD, VCD, CD, CD-G, HD-CD, MP3/JPEG discs.)
● Press AUDIO button once to display current audio mode.
● Press again to toggle between different audio modes in sequent.

: Switching to Auto L / R audio channel may be vary due to different discs contents.

: For Multi-languages DVD & Super VCD discs, press AUDIO button to select your favorite

PREVIEW
(For Super VCD, VCD, CD, CD-G, HD-CD, MP3/JPEG discs.)
● For Super VCD & VCD discs, while the disc had stopped, press PREVIEW button.
1. The screen will split to 9 small display to play each track by 3 sec. according to the tracks order.
2. If it is in PCB ON status, this function will switch it to OFF. (Note: If started the disc menu, preview
will not function)
3. Press PREV / NEXT button to navigate the 9 small screens.
4. Press PLAY button to playback the current selection.
5. Press 1- 9 button to activate corresponding small screen directly.
● For CD, CD-G, DTC-CD, HD-CD discs, while the disc had stopped, press INTRO button. It will
start to play each track by 15 sec. according to the tracks order.

2. Press PLAY button to playback the current track
While playing the discs, you may also press PREVIEW button to activate this function. (Note: if the current track started over 15 sec. this function will start from next track.)

Note

Angle (For DVD discs.)
● Press ANGLE button once to display current playback angle.
● Press again to toggle between different playback angle code in sequent.
e.g. Angle -/- (Current/Full) or OFF.
Note
: Only for DVD with multi-angle, press SUBTITLE button to select your favorite playback angle.
Selectable playback angle depends on the availability of the DVD contents.
Mute
(For DVD, Super VCD, VCD, CD, CD-G, HD-CD, MP3/JPEG discs.)
● Press MUTE button to mute the audio output. There will have an on screen symbol indicate “MUTE”.
● Press again to cancel, or Press VOL + to cancel and adjust the volume.
In case there is no audio output, try to press MUTE button to cancel mute.
Zoom
(For DVD, Super VCD, VCD, MP3/JPEG discs.)
● Press ZOOM button to zoom in the picture.
● There are 6 zoom modes, press ZOOM button to toggle between different zoom modes in sequent:

repeat portion. There will have an on screen indication “REPEAT A- “.
● In normal Playback, fast forward or fast reverse, press A-B button again at where you want to stop
the repeat portion. There will have an on screen indication “REPEAT A-B“.
● The repeat function started to playback the portion from A to B automatically.
● Press A-B button again to cancel. There will have an on screen indication “A-B CANCEL”.
1. For Super VCD, VCD & CD discs, repeat A-B is only function within the same track. When playing
the others, repeat A-B will cancel automatically.
2. For Super DVD discs, repeat A-B is only function within the same Title /Chapter. When playing
the others, repeat A-B will cancel automatically.
Volume
(For DVD, Super VCD, VCD, CD, CD-G, HD-CD, MP3/JPEG discs.)
Press VOL - / VOL + buttons to adjust the output volume.
Note
: Playback DVD discs in original code, is not adjustable.

4:3PS : suitable for normal TV, when playback wide screen movie, the left and right of the screen
will be cropped.
4:3LB : suitable for normal TV, when playback wide screen movie, the top and bottom will have a
black border.
16:9 : suitable for connecting a wide screen TV / Display.
Note
:
1. Playback screen size may vary according to the discs contents.
2. For discs with 4:3 contents, using any mode would only display a 4:3 screen
3. Screen ratio selection should be according to the connected TV / Display aspect ratio.
PASSWORD
:
1. The default setting is locked. No Rating selection or change password could be done. To edit
the Rating setting, please enter default password “0000” by numeric buttons, then press ENTER
button to confirm.
2. To change password, input any 4 digit number when the lock is unlocked. Once the 4 digit
number in entered, that will be your new password.
RATING
:
Playback for some discs with rating, you can select the rating setting according to your preference.
Rating restriction divided in eight different category from KID SAFE to ADULT.
Note : Only editable when password is unlocked. And only can function when password is locked.
DEFAULT :
Press ENTER button to restore factory default.

SUBTITLE LANG
(Subtitle language):
Use navigation buttons to select the SUBTITLE LANG setup icon, press ENTER button to confirm.
There are 7 languages for you selection, press p / q buttons to toggle between different languages (ENGLISH GERMAN SPANISH FRENCH PORTUGUESE ITALIAN OFF).

1. Press the SETUP button on the remote control to to
activate the DVD player OSD menu;
2. Press p / q button to move and highlight between
different sub-menu. Press t / u or ENTER button to
enter the highlighted sub-menu.
3. Press SETUP button to exit the OSD menu, or move the
highlight to EXIT SETUP then press ENTER button to exit.
AUDIO OUT :
There are 3 modes (SPDIF / OFF SPDIF / original code SPDIF / PCM) for your selection; use navigation buttons to select different modes, press ENTER button to confirm.
SPDIF / OFF: Coaxial output off.
SPDIF / RAW: When connected the coaxial output to your audio amplifier, playing back the discs with Dolby, MPEG contents, the coaxial output the original signal to your amplifier.
Your Amplifier must have the corresponding decoding function.
SPDIF / PCM: When connected with 2 channels digital stereo amplifier, playing back the discs with Dolby, MPEG contents, the coaxial output with 2 channel to your amplifier.
TONE:
Use p / q buttons to adjust the Tone setting.

When switch the compress mode to “Audio output”, adjust the compress ratio for different effect.

You can select four different audio output: STEREO, MONO L, MONO R, MIX MONO.

Sometimes, the image may be disrupted due to the frequency standard from the VGA card.
However, this is not an error. You may improve this situation by activating the automatic
adjustment or by manually changing the phase and the clock settings in the menu.

management function.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Before contacting the service technician, perform the following simple checks. If any problem still persists, unplug the LCD TV and call for service.
TV Mode:
Problem
No sound or picture
Normal picture but no sound
Sound is too low
No picture or black and white picture
Possible Solution
● Check that the mains plug has been connected to a wall outlet.
● Check that you have pressed the button on the front of the TV.
● Check the picture contrast and brightness settings.
● Check the volume .
● Check the volume.
● Check whether the MUTE button has been pressed on the remote
control.
● Check the volume .
● If the volume is still too low after setting the volume level to its
maximum, check the volume control on any external device
connected.
● Adjust the colour settings .
● Check that the broadcast system selected is correct.
“NO INPUT” message
Sound and picture interference
Blurred or snowy picture, distorted sound
● Make sure that the signal cable is firmly connected to the PC or the
video sources.
● Make sure that the PC or video sources are switched on.
● Try to identify the electrical appliance that is affecting the set and
move it further away.
● Check the direction, location and connections of your aerial.
Remote control does not work
● The battery in the remote control may be exhausted.
● The battery may be improperly installed.
● Check that there is no obstruction between the remote control and
the remote (infrared) sensor.
● Ensure that there is no strong light shining on the remote control’s
infrared sensor.
The LCD TV does not turn on ● Be sure the power cord is plugged on.
The image is too light or too dark
On PC mode, horizontal bars appear to flicker, jitter or shimmer on the image

● Adjust the brightness and Contrast.
● Adjust the Phase.
● Adjust the Clock.
In PC mode, image is not stable and may appear to vibrate
● Check that the display resolution and frequency from your PC or
video board is a valid mode for your LCD TV.

change the display settings.

TROUBLESHOOTING
DVD Mode
:
Problem
When the playback button is pressed, playback does not begin, or it stops quickly
No sound, or sound is strange
Buttons cannot be operated
Possible Solution
● Have you inserted a disc other than a DVD, video CD or music CD.
● If the disc is dirty, wipe it clean.
● Insert correctly, with the label surface on the near side.
● When connected to an external amp, set DVD output to ‘‘YES’’.
● Check connections and audio settings.
● There is no sound during pause, still picture, jog or slow playback.
● Check the audio mode is correct.
● Operation may be forbidden, depending on the disc .
● If buttons do not operate at all, try turning the power supply button on
the remote control of the main unit ‘‘Off’’ and ‘‘On’’. The system may fail
to operate correctly due to the effects of lightning or static electricity, etc.
The picture is disturbed during search
Playback does not start even
when a title is selected
The disc is hot when it is removed
Subtitles do not appear
● Some disturbance is normal. This is not a malfunction.
● Some titles cannot be played back if viewing restrictions have
been set.
● This is not a problem for quality or performance.
● Subtitles appear only with discs, which contain them.
