Ventech 800 Operating And Maintenance Instructions And Service Parts List
VENTECH 800 is a range hood designed to remove cooking odors and fumes from your kitchen. It features two fan speeds, with the lower speed being adjustable to balance extraction and noise. The range hood also has removable aluminum grease filters that can be cleaned in a dishwasher. To use the VENTECH 800, simply turn it on and select the desired fan speed. The range hood will then begin to extract air from your kitchen and vent it outside.

The fan speed is on full for speed 2 and cannot be adjusted.
Speed 1 speed can be adjusted by turning the knob on the speed controller located above the filters
Ensure the range hood is turned off before making any adjustments.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING!
Turn off the appliance before servicing or cleaning.
IMPORTANT!
• Remove all protective wrappings, before use.
• There shall be adequate ventilation of the room when the range hood is used at the same time as appliances burning gas or other fuels.
• Never use the range hood without the filters in place.
• Never use abrasive or oil based cleaners.
The range hood should be cleaned regularly using a mild, liquid detergent and a clean soft cloth to avoid a build-up of grease occurring. Avoid the use of corrosive chemicals, abrasive cleaning products, hard brushes and steel wool pads. Grease deposits are corrosive which can cause damage to your range hood.
Note: in areas of high humidity or coastal environments, cleaning should be carried out more frequently.
Removing the aluminium filters
1. Lower the central plaque to reveal filters.
2. Pull the relative catch, tilting the filter downwards until it disengages from the supports.
3. Reverse these instructions when refitting the filters.
Cleaning Aluminium filters
• Depending on use, but at least every 3 months, the aluminium grease filter should be removed and cleaned with hot soapy water or in a dishwasher.
• If washed in a dishwasher, the filter should be placed in an upright position to prevent food from falling on it.
• After rinsing and drying, refit the filters.
Note: some discolouration of the frames may occur.
