Familiarise yourself with the functions of the device before actually using it. Do not allow operation by unqualified people. Any damage that may occur will most probably be due to unprofessional use of the device.

All modifications of the device are forbidden for safety reasons. Damage caused by user modifications to the device is not covered by the warranty.
•
Only use the device for its intended purpose. All other uses may lead to short circuits, burns, electroshocks, lamp explosion, crash, etc. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
•
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual is not covered by the warranty and the dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
•
Mechanical wear and LEDs are not covered by warranty.
•
A qualified technician should install and service this device.
•
Do not switch the device on immediately after it has been exposed to changes in temperature.
Protect the device against damage by leaving it switched off until it has reached room temperature.
•
This device is designed for professional use on stage, in discos, theatres, etc. The VDPL300CB should only be used indoors. Use only the included power adapter.
•
Lighting effects are not designed for permanent operation: regular operation breaks will prolong their lives.
•
There may be a particular smell when the device is activated for the first time. This is normal and any smell will gradually disappear.
•
Do not repeatedly switch the fixture on and off. This shortens the life time.
•
Keep away from electronic equipment that may cause interference.
•
Never leave the device running unattended.
•
Use the original packaging if the device is to be transported.
•
Keep this manual for future reference.

Installation
Mounting the device
•
Have the device installed by a qualified person, respecting EN 60598-2-17 and all other applicable norms.
•
The carrying construction must be able to support 10 times the weight of the device for 1 hour without deforming.
•
The installation must always be secured with a secondary attachment e.g. a safety cable.
•
Never stand directly below the device when it is being mounted, removed or serviced. Have a qualified technician check the device once a year and once before you bring it into service.
•
Install the device in a location with few passers-by that is inaccessible to unauthorised persons.

•
Overhead mounting requires extensive experience: calculating workload limits, determining the installation material to be used… Have the material and the device itself checked regularly. Do not attempt to install the device yourself if you lack these qualifications as improper installation may result in injuries.
•
Make sure there is no flammable material within a 0.5 m radius of the device.
•
Have a qualified electrician carry out the electric connection.
•
Connect the device to the mains with the power plug. Do not connect it to a dimming pack.
•
The installation has to be approved by an expert before the device is taken into service.
DMX-512 connection
•
When applicable, connect an XLR cable to the female 3-pin XLR output of a controller (not incl.) and the other side to the male 3-pin XLR input [4] of the VDPL300CB. Multiple VDPL300CBs can be linked through serial linking. The linking cable should be a dual core, screened cable with XLR input and output connectors.
•
Maximum recommended serial data link distance is 500 meters (1640 ft). Maximum recommended number of fixtures on a serial data link is 32 fixtures.
•
A DMX terminator is recommended for installations where the DMX cable has to run a long distance or is in an electrically noisy environment (e.g. discos). The terminator prevents corruption of the digital control signal by electrical noise. The DMX terminator is simply an XLR plug with a 120Ω resistor between pins 2 and 3, which is then plugged into the XLR output socket [5] of the last device in the chain.
7.
Operation
The VDPL300CB can be used in the following modes:
• stand-alone mode: automatic or sound-activated
• master/slave
• with a DMX512 controller.
7.1
Control Panel Navigation
Access the control panel functions using the four panel buttons [2] located directly underneath the display [1] . From left to right:

The control panel display shows the menu items you select from the menu map. When a menu function is selected, the display will show immediately the first available option for the selected menu function. To select a menu item, press <ENTER>.
•
Use the <UP> and <DOWN> buttons to navigate the menu map and menu options. Press <ENTER> to access the menu function currently displayed or to enable a menu option. To return to the previous option or menu without changing the value, press the <MENU> button.
7.2
Stand-alone mode
In stand-alone mode, the device runs one of the built-in programs: automatic or sound-controlled.
To set the device to stand-alone mode:
1.
Connect nothing to the DMX input [4] of the device.
2.
Press <MENU> until <AXX> is displayed and press <ENTER>.
3.
Use <UP> and <DOWN> to select a built-in program:

7.3
Master/slave mode
The master/slave mode allows for connecting several devices to a single master device. All slave devices then work synchronously with the master device.
You need to set one device to master mode and all other devices to slave mode.
1.
Connect all devices in series with DMX cables.
2.
The first unit in the chain functions as the master fixture. Set up the unit as described in Standalone mode .
3.
On each of the connected slave units, set the DMX starting address to <A001> as follows: press
<MENU> until <A001> is displayed and press <ENTER>. Use <UP> and <DOWN> to select
<A001> and press <ENTER>.
4.
Repeat for each slave unit.
7.4
DMX mode
This mode allows you to control the fixture by any universal DMX controller.
•
All DMX-controlled devices need a digital start address so that the correct device responds to the signals. This digital start address is the channel number from which the device starts to “listen” to the DMX controller. The same starting address can be used for a whole group of devices or an individual address can be set for every device.
•
When all devices have the same address, all the units will “listen” to the control signal on one particular channel. In other words: changing the settings of one channel will affect all devices simultaneously. If you set individual addresses, each device will “listen” to a separate channel number. Changing the settings of one channel will only affect the device in question.
•
In case of the 6-channel VDPL300CB, you will have to set the start address of the first unit to 1
(CH1~6), the second to 7 (1 + 6) (CH7~12), the third to 13 (7 + 6) (CH13~18), and so on.
To set the device to work with a DMX controller:
1.
Press <MENU> until <A001> is displayed and press <ENTER>.
2.
Use <UP> or <DOWN> to set the DMX starting address (A001 ~ A512) and press <ENTER>.

8.
Cleaning and maintenance
•
All screws should be tightened and free of corrosion.
•
The housing, the lenses, the mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension, trussing) should not be deformed, modified or tampered with; e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting supports, do not change the location of the connections…
•
Mechanically moving parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
•
The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the device.
•
Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities.
•
Wipe the device regularly with a dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
•
There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the fuse.
•
Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
Replacing the fuse
Only replace the fuse by a fuse of the same type and rating.
1.
Before replacing the fuse, unplug the mains lead.
2.
Unscrew the fuse holder on the rear panel of the base with an appropriate screwdriver.
3.
Remove the old fuse and install the new fuse in the fuse holder.
4.
Replace the fuse holder in the housing and tighten it.

1.

Bescherm tegen schokken. Vermijd brute kracht tijdens de bediening.
•
Leer eerst de functies van het toestel kennen voor u het gaat gebruiken. Ongeschoolde personen mogen dit toestel niet gebruiken. Meestal is beschadiging het gevolg van onprofessioneel gebruik.
•
Om veiligheidsredenen mag u geen wijzigingen aanbrengen. Schade door wijzigingen die de gebruiker heeft aangebracht valt niet onder de garantie.
•
Gebruik het toestel enkel waarvoor het gemaakt is. Andere toepassingen kunnen leiden tot kortsluitingen, brandwonden, elektrische schokken, enz. Bij onoordeelkundig gebruik vervalt de garantie.
•
De garantie geldt niet voor schade door het negeren van bepaalde richtlijnen in deze handleiding en uw dealer zal de verantwoordelijkheid afwijzen voor defecten of problemen die hier rechtstreeks verband mee houden.
•
De leds en mechanische schade vallen niet onder de garantie.

Laat dit toestel installeren en onderhouden door een geschoolde technicus.
•
Om beschadiging te vermijden, zet u het toestel best niet aan onmiddellijk nadat het werd blootgesteld aan temperatuurschommelingen. Wacht tot het toestel op kamertemperatuur gekomen is.
•
Dit toestel is ontworpen voor professioneel gebruik op podia, in disco's, enz. U mag dit toestel enkel binnenshuis gebruiken. Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde voedingsadapter.
•
Lichteffecten zijn niet ontworpen voor continue werking: regelmatige onderbrekingen doen ze langer meegaan.
•
Wanneer u het toestel voor het eerst gebruikt, kan dit gepaard gaan met een bepaalde geur. Dit is normaal en de eventuele geur zal geleidelijk aan verdwijnen.
•
Vermijd het veelvuldig aan- en uitschakelen van het toestel. Dit verkort de levensduur.
•
Houd het toestel uit de buurt van elektronische apparaten die mogelijk storing veroorzaken.
•
Laat het toestel nooit onbeheerd werken.
•
Gebruik de oorspronkelijke verpakking wanneer u het toestel vervoert.
•
Bewaar deze handleiding voor verdere raadpleging.

Installatie
Het toestel monteren
•
Laat een geschoolde technicus dit toestel installeren conform EN 60598-2-17 en andere toepasselijke normen.
•
De constructie waaraan het toestel wordt bevestigd, moet gedurende 1 uur 10 x het gewicht van dit toestel kunnen dragen zonder te vervormen.
•
Maak het toestel ook vast met een veiligheidskabel.

•
Sta nooit recht onder het toestel wanneer u het monteert, verwijdert of schoonveegt. Laat het toestel controleren door een geschoolde technicus voor u het in gebruik neemt en laat het 1 x per jaar volledig nakijken.
•
Installeer dit toestel op een plaats waar niemand langs moet lopen, kan neerzitten of het toestel kan aanraken.
•
Een degelijke praktijkervaring is vereist voor de plaatsing van dit toestel. U moet de maximumbelasting van de draagconstructie kunnen berekenen, weten welk constructiemateriaal u kunt gebruiken en u moet het gebruikte materiaal en het toestel af en toe laten nakijken. Monteer het toestel niet zelf indien u er geen ervaring mee heeft. Een slechte montage kan leiden tot verwondingen.
•
Verwijder alle brandbaar materiaal in een straal van 0,5 m rond het toestel.
•
Een geschoolde elektricien moet het toestel aansluiten.
•
Sluit het toestel via de stekker aan op het lichtnet. Sluit het niet aan op een dimmerpack.
•
De installatie moet voor het eerste gebruik gekeurd worden door een expert.
DMX512-aansluiting
•
Indien van toepassing, sluit een XLR-kabel aan de vrouwelijke 3-pin XLR-uitgang van een controller
(niet meegelev.) en de andere kant van de mannelijke 3-pin XLR-ingang [4] van de VDPL300CB. U kunt verscheidene VDPL300CB’s aan elkaar koppelen met behulp van een seriële koppeling. Gebruik daarvoor een 2-aderige afgeschermde kabel met XLR ingang- en uitgangsaansluitingen.
•
De maximaal aanbevolen kabellengte is 500 meter, het aanbevolen maximumaantal toestellen op eenzelfde aansluiting is 32.
•
Een DMX eindweerstand is aanbevolen als de DMX-kabel vrij lang is of wordt gebruikt in een omgeving met veel elektrische ruis (bv. een discotheek). De eindweerstand voorkomt corruptie van het digitale controlesignaal door elektrische ruis. De DMX eindweerstand is niets meer dan een XLRstekker met een weerstand van 120 Ω van pin 2 naar 3. Deze XLR-stekker wordt dan aangesloten op de XLR-uitgang [5] van het laatste toestel in de reeks.
7.
Gebruik
De VDPL300CB kan in verschillende modi gebruikt worden:
• standalone: automatisch of met muzieksturing
• master/slave
• met DMX512-sturing.
7.1
Het bedieningspaneel
Bedien het paneel met behulp van de vier toetsen [2] onderaan de display [1] . Van links naar rechts:

De geselecteerde menufunctie wordt op de display weergegeven. De display geeft ook de eerstvolgende menuoptie onder de functie weer. Selecteer een menuoptie met <ENTER>.
•
Scroll doorheen het menu met <UP> en <DOWN>. Selecteer de menufunctie met <ENTER> en druk op <MENU> om naar het hoofdmenu terug te keren zonder de waarde te hebben gewijzigd.
7.2
Standalone
In autonome modus draait het toestel één van de ingebouwde programma's: automatisch of geluidsgestuurd.
Om het toestel in autonome modus (stand-alone) te plaatsen:
1.
Sluit niets aan op de DMX-ingang [4] van het toestel.
2.
Druk op <MENU> tot <AXX> op de display verschijnt en druk op <ENTER>.
3.
Gebruik de <UP> en <DOWN> toetsen om een ingebouwd programma te selecteren:

7.3
Master/slave modus
In master/slave modus kunnen meerdere toestellen aangesloten worden op een mastertoestel. Alle slavetoestellen functioneren dan synchroon met het mastertoestel.
Plaats het toestel in mastermodus en alle andere toestellen in slavemodus.
1.
Sluit alle toestellen in serie aan met DMX-kabels.
2.
Het eerste toestel in de ketting functioneert als mastertoestel. Stel het toestel in zoals beschreven in
Standalone .
3.
Op elk van de aangesloten slavetoestellen, stel het DMX-adres in op <A001> als volgt: druk op
<MENU> tot <A001> op de display verschijnt en druk op <ENTER>. Gebruik de <UP> en <DOWN> toetsen om <A001> te selecteren en druk op <ENTER>.

Herhaal voor elk slavetoestel.
7.4
DMX-sturing
Sturing van het toestel via een universele DMX-controller.
•
Alle DMX-gestuurde toestellen hebben een digitaal startadres nodig, zodat het juiste toestel reageert op de signalen. Dit digitale startadres is het kanaalnummer van waarop het toestel ‘luistert’ naar het signaal van de DMX controller. U kunt één enkel startadres gebruiken voor een groep toestellen of u kunt per toestel een nieuw startadres ingeven.
•
Wanneer u een enkel startadres instelt, zullen alle toestellen ‘luisteren’ naar hetzelfde kanaal. Met andere woorden: wanneer u de instellingen voor 1 kanaal verandert, zullen alle toestellen er tegelijk op reageren. Wanneer u verschillende adressen instelt, dan luistert elk toestel naar een ander kanaal. Met andere woorden: wanneer u de instellingen van een kanaal verandert, zal enkel het toestel op dat kanaal reageren.
•
In het geval van de 6-kanaals VDPL300CB, zult u het startadres van het eerste toestel op 1 (CH1~6) moeten instellen, van het tweede toestel op 7 (1 + 6) (CH7~12), van het derde op 13 (7 + 6)
(CH13~18), enz.
Om het toestel in te stellen met DMX-sturing:
1.
Druk op <MENU> tot <A001> op de display verschijnt en druk op <ENTER>.
2.
Gebruik de <UP> of <DOWN> toetsen op het DMX-adres in te stellen (A001 ~ A512) en druk op
<ENTER>.

8.
Reiniging en onderhoud
•
Alle gebruikte schroeven moeten goed zijn aangespannen en mogen geen sporen van roest vertonen.
•

De zekering vervangen

Se familiariser avec le fonctionnement de l’appareil avant de l’utiliser. Ne pas permettre pas aux personnes non qualifiées d’opérer cet appareil. La plupart des dégâts sont causés par un usage non professionnel.
•
Toute modification est interdite pour des raisons de sécurité. Les dommages occasionnés par des modifications par le client ne tombent pas sous la garantie.
•
N’utiliser le spot qu’à sa fonction prévue. Tout autre usage peut causer des courts-circuits, des brûlures, des électrochocs, etc. Un usage impropre annule d'office la garantie.
•
La garantie ne s’applique pas aux dommages survenus en négligeant certaines directives de cette notice et votre revendeur déclinera toute responsabilité pour les problèmes et les défauts qui en résultent.

Installation
Montage de l’appareil
•
Un technicien qualifié doit installer l’appareil en respectant EN 60598-2-17 et toute autre norme applicable.
•
La construction portante de l’appareil doit être capable de supporter 10 x le poids de l’appareil pendant une heure, sans qu’une déformation de la construction en résulte.
•
Fixer votre VDPL300CB à l’aide d’un câble de sécurité (sécurité supplémentaire).

Éviter de vous positionner en dessous de l’appareil pour l’enlever ou lors du montage ou du nettoyage. Un technicien qualifié doit réviser l’appareil avant la mise en service. Organiser une révision minutieuse annuelle.
•
Installer l’appareil à un endroit où personne ne peut passer ou s’asseoir et où personne ne peut le toucher.
•
L’installation de cet appareil exige une solide expérience pratique : le calcul de la charge max. de la construction, les matériaux d’installation requis etc. De temps en temps, un technicien qualifié doit vérifier la construction portante et l’appareil même. Ne pas essayer d’installer cet appareil vousmême si vous n’avez pas les qualifications requises ; une installation incorrecte peut entraîner des blessures.
•
Enlever tout matériau inflammable dans un rayon de 0,5 m autour de l’appareil.
•
Un électricien qualifié doit établir la connexion électrique.
•
Brancher l’appareil sur le réseau électrique par la fiche d’alimentation. Ne pas le brancher sur un bloc de puissance.
•
Un expert doit approuver l’installation avant qu’elle puisse être prise en service.
Connexion DMX512
•
Si nécessaire, connecter un câble à fiche XLR à la sortie XLR femelle à 3 broches de votre contrôleur
(non incl.) et l’autre fiche XLR mâle à 3 broches à l’entrée [4] du VDPL300CB. Il est possible de relier plusieurs VDPL300CB à partir d’une connexion sérielle. Utiliser un câble de connexion blindé à
2 conducteurs avec des connecteurs d’entrée et de sortie XLR.
•
Longueur maximale de la connexion : 500 mètres. Nombre maximal d’unités sur une connexion sérielle : 32.
•
Une résistance de terminaison DMX est à recommander si le câble DMX doit couvrir une grande distance ou s’il est utilisé dans un environnement avec beaucoup de bruit électrique (p.ex. une discothèque). La résistance de terminaison prévient la corruption du signal de contrôle numérique par le bruit électrique. La résistance de terminaison DMX n’est rien d’autre qu’une fiche XLR avec une résistance de 120 Ω de broche 2 vers broche 3. Cette fiche XLR est connectée à la sortie XLR [5] du dernier appareil de la série.

Emploi
Le VDPL300CB peut être utilisé en plusieurs modes de fonctionnement :
• mode autonome : automatique ou avec pilotage par le son
• maître/esclave
• avec pilotage DMX512.
7.1
Navigation dans le menu
Accéder aux fonctions en utilisant les quatre boutons-poussoirs [2] au bas de l’afficheur LED [1] . De gauche à droite :

à la fonction sélectionnée ou enfoncer la touche <MENU> pour revenir au niveau précédent.

Mode autonome
En mode autonome (stand-alone), l'appareil lit un des programmes internes : mode automatique ou pilotage par le son.
Pour régler l'appareil en mode autonome (stand-alone) :

Ne rien connecter à l'entrée DMX [4] de l'appareil.

Mode maître/esclave
Le mode maître/esclave permet de connecter plusieurs appareils à un seul appareil maître. Tout autre appareil esclave se synchronisera sur l'appareil maître.
Régler le premier appareil en mode maître et tous les autres appareils en mode esclave.
1.
Connecter tous les appareils en série avec des câbles DMX.
2.
Le premier appareil dans la chaîne fonctionne comme appareil maître. Régler l'appareil comme décrit dans Mode autonome .
3.
Sur chaque appareil esclave connecté, régler l'adresse DMX sur <A001> comme suit : enfoncer la touche <MENU> jusqu’à ce que <A001> s’affiche et appuyer sur <ENTER>. Utiliser les touches
<UP> et <DOWN> pour sélectionner <A001> et appuyer sur <ENTER>.

Répéter pour chaque appareil esclave.
7.4
Mode de pilotage DMX
Ce mode permet de piloter votre projecteur sans contrôleur DMX.
•
Tous les appareils pilotés par un signal DMX demandent une adresse de départ DMX pour assurer que les appareils corrects réagissent sur les signaux de contrôle. Cette adresse de départ numérique indique le numéro de canal sur lequel l’appareil écoute le contrôleur DMX. Vous avez le choix entre une seule adresse de départ pour toute une série d’appareils ou une adresse de départ par appareil.
•
Dans le cas d’une seule adresse, tous les appareils « écouteront » les mêmes signaux, sur un seul canal. Tous les appareils seront donc influencés lorsque vous changez les réglages d’un seul canal.
Avec des adresses de départ individuelles, chaque appareil « écoutera » son propre canal. Par conséquent, un ajustement des réglages d’un canal n’influence que l'appareil sur ce canal.
•
Pour le VDPL300CB à 6 canaux, l’adresse de départ du premier appareil est 1 (CH1~6), du deuxième
7 (1 + 6) (CH7~12), du troisième 13 (7 + 6) (CH13~18), etc.
Réglez l'appareil pour un fonctionnement avec pilotage DMX :
1.
Enfoncer la touche <MENU> jusqu’à ce que <A001> s’affiche et appuyer sur <ENTER>.

Serrer les écrous et les vis et vérifier qu’ils ne rouillent pas.
•
Le boîtier, les lentilles, les supports de montage et la construction portante ne peuvent pas être déformés, adaptés ou bricolés p.ex. pas de trous additionnels dans un support, ne pas déplacer les connexions etc.

Les parties mécaniques mobiles ne peuvent pas être usées ou bouger de manière irrégulière.

Les câbles d'alimentation ne peuvent pas être endommagés. Un technicien qualifié doit entretenir l’appareil.
•
Débrancher l’appareil avant de le nettoyer.

Essuyer l’appareil régulièrement avec un chiffon sec non pelucheux. Éviter l’usage d’alcool et de solvants.

Il n’y a aucune pièce maintenable par l’utilisateur sauf le fusible.
•
Commander des pièces de rechange éventuelles chez votre revendeur.
Remplacement du fusible
Remplacez un fusible sauté par un exemplaire identique.
1.
Débranchez l’appareil du réseau avant de remplacez le fusible.
2.
Dévissez le porte-fusible du dos de l’appareil avec un tournevis approprié.
3.
Enlevez l’ancien fusible et remplacez-le.
4.
Remettez le porte-fusible et serrez-le avec le tournevis.

Instalación
Montaje del aparato
•
Respete la directiva EN 60598-2-17 y toda norma nacional antes de instalar el aparato. La instalación debe ser realizada por un técnico especializado.
•
El soporte donde irá el aparato, debe ser capaz de sostener 10 veces el peso de éste durante una hora, sin que se produzca una deformación de dicho soporte.
•
Fije siempre el VDPL300CB con un cable de seguridad (seguridad adicional).
•
Evite ponerse debajo del aparato durante el montaje, la limpieza, etc. Un técnico especializado debe revisar el aparato antes de la puesta en marcha. Después, debe revisarlo una vez al año.
•
Instale el aparato fuera del alcance de personas no autorizadas y en un lugar con poca gente.

La instalación de este aparato exige una sólida experiencia práctica: debe poder calcular la carga máx. del soporte, debe conocer los materiales necesarios para la instalación, etc. De vez en cuando, una verificación de la estructura y del aparato mismo debe ser llevada a cabo por un técnico especializado. No intente instalar este aparato si no tiene las cualificaciones requeridas; una instalación incorrecta puede causar lesiones.
•
Quite todo material inflamable en un radio de 0,5m alrededor del aparato.
•
La conexión eléctrica debe llevarla a cabo un electricista cualificado.
•
Conecte el aparato a la red eléctrica con la conexión de alimentación. Normalmente, no se conectan efectos luminosos a dimmer packs (reguladores).
•
Un experto debe probar la instalación antes de la puesta en marcha.
Conexión DMX512
•
Si fuera necesario, conecte un cable con conector XLR (no incl.) a la salida XLR hembra de 3 polos del controlador y el otro conector XLR macho de 3 polos a la entrada [4] de la VDPL300CB. Es posible conectar varios VDPL300CB en serie. Use un cable blindado de doble hilo conductor con conectores XLR de entrada y de salida VDPL300CB.
•
Longitud máx. de la conexión: 500 metros. Número máx. de unidades en una conexión en serie: 32.
•
Se recomienda una terminación si el cable DMX debe cubrir una gran distancia o si se usa en un medio ambiente con mucho ruido eléctrico (ej. una discoteca). La terminación impide que el ruido eléctrico corrompa la señal de control numérico. La terminación DMX no es más que un conector XLR con una resistencia de 120Ω de polo 2 a polo 3. Este conector XLR está conectado a la salida XLR [5] del último aparato de la serie.
7.
Uso
Hay 3 modos de funcionamiento:
• modo autónomo (stand-alone): automático o activado por la música
• modo maestro/esclavo
• modo controlado por DMX512.
7.1
Navegar por el menú
Acceder a las funciones al utilizar las teclas [2] de la parte inferior de la pantalla LED [1] . De izquierda a derecha:

En el modo stand-alone, el aparato activa uno de los programas incorporados: automático o activado por la música.

Modo maestro/esclavo
El modo maestro/esclavo permite conectar varios aparatos esclavos a un solo aparato maestro. Cada aparato esclavo funcionará de manera sincrónica con el aparato maestro.
Ponga un aparato en el modo maestro y todos los otros aparatos en el modo esclavo.
1.
Conecte todos los aparatos en serie con cables DMX.
2.
Ajuste el primer aparato de la serie como aparato maestro. Ajuste el aparato (véase Modo autónomo (stand-alone) ).
3.
En cada aparato esclavo, introduzca la dirección inicial DMX en <A001>: pulse la tecla <MENU> hasta que se visualice <A001> y pulse <ENTER>. Utilice <UP> y <DOWN> para seleccionar
<A001> y pulse <ENTER>.

Repita esto para cada aparato esclavo.

Modo de control DMX
Este modo permite controlar su foco sin controlador DMX.
•
Si se usa una señal DMX, cada aparato tiene su propia dirección inicial DMX para asegurar que los aparatos reaccionen a las señales de control correctas. Esta dirección inicial digital es el primer canal en el cual el aparato reaccionará a las señales DMX del controlador DMX. Es posible elegir entre una sola dirección inicial para toda una serie de aparatos o una dirección inicial por aparato.
•
Con una sola dirección inicial para una serie de aparatos, todos los aparatos reaccionarán sincronizadamente a la misma señal. Por lo tanto, cambiar los ajustes de un solo canal afecta a los ajustes de todos los canales. Con varias direcciones iniciales, cada aparato reaccionará independientemente. Por lo tanto, cambiar los ajustes de un solo canal sólo afecta al canal en cuestión.
•
En el caso del VDPL300CB de 6 canales, la dirección inicial del primer aparato es 1 (CH1~6), del segundo aparato 7 (1 + 6) (CH7~12), del tercer aparato 13 (7 + 6) (CH13~18), etc.
Hacer funcionar el aparato con un controlador DMX:
1.
Pulse la tecla <MENU> hasta que se visualice <A001> y pulse <ENTER>.
2.
Utilice <UP> o <DOWN> para introducir la dirección inicial DMX (A001 ~ A512) y pulse <ENTER>.

8.
Limpieza y mantenimiento
•
Apriete bien las tuercas y los tornillos y verifique que no hay señales de oxidación.
•
No modifique la caja, los soportes y las ópticas p.ej. no taladre agujeros adicionales en un soporte o no modifique las conexiones, etc.
•
Las partes móviles no pueden mostrar ningún rastro de desgaste y deben estar bien equilibradas.
•
No dañe los cables de alimentación. Contacte con un técnico especializado para instalar el aparato.
•
Desconecte el aparato de toda fuente antes de limpiarlo.
•
Limpie el aparato regularmente con un paño seco. Evite el uso de alcohol y de disolventes.
•
El usuario no habrá de efectuar el mantenimiento de ninguna pieza salvo el fusible.
•
Contacte con su distribuidor si necesita piezas de recambio.
Reemplazar el fusible
Reemplace un fusible fundido por otro del mismo tipo.
1.
Desconecte el aparato de la red antes de reemplazar el fusible.
2.
Desatornille el portafusibles de la parte trasera del aparato con un destornillador adecuado.
3.
Saque el fusible fundido y reemplácelo.
4.
Vuelva a poner el portafusibles en su lugar.

Der Aufbau des Gerätes entspricht der Schutzklasse I. Gemäß den Vorschriften muss das Gerät

Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die anzuschließende Netzspannung nicht höher ist als die Netzspannung beschrieben in dieser Bedienungsanleitung.

Achten Sie darauf, dass die Netzleitung nicht gequetscht oder durch scharfe Kanten beschädigt werden kann. Bei Beschädigungen soll eine Fachkraft das Kabel ersetzen.

Machen Sie das Gerät mit einem geeigneten Sicherheitskabel fest (z.B. VDLSC7N oder VDLSC8N).

Sorgen Sie für einen Abstand von min. 0,5 m zwischen dem Gerät und entflammbaren und explosiven Gegenständen oder Stoffen.

Vermeiden Sie Erschütterungen. Vermeiden Sie rohe Gewalt während der Installation und
Bedienung des Gerätes.
•
Nehmen Sie das Gerät erst in Betrieb, nachdem Sie sich mit seinen Funktionen vertraut gemacht haben. Lassen Sie das Gerät nicht von Personen bedienen, die sich nicht mit dem Gerät auskennen.
Meist ist die Beschädigung des Gerätes das Ergebnis von unfachmännischer Bedienung.
•
Eigenmächtige Veränderungen sind aus Sicherheitsgründen verboten. Bei Schäden verursacht durch eigenmächtige Änderungen erlischt der Garantieanspruch.
•
Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur für Anwendungen beschrieben in dieser Bedienungsanleitung sonst kann dies zu Schäden am Produkt führen und erlischt der Garantieanspruch. Jede andere
Verwendung ist mit Gefahren wie Kurzschluss, Brandwunden, elektrischem Schlag, usw. verbunden.

Beschädigung, indem Sie es ausgeschaltet lassen bis es akklimatisiert ist (Zimmertemperatur erreicht hat).

Dieses Gerät wurde für den professionellen Einsatz auf Bühnen, in Discotheken, Theatern, usw. entworfen und eignet sich nur für die Anwendung im Innenbereich. Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil.
•
Das Gerät eignet sich nicht für permanenten Betrieb: eine regelmäßige Pause verlängert die
Lebensdauer.
•
Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme kann es zu Geruchserzeugung kommen. Dies ist normal und der
Geruch wird allmählich verschwinden.
•
Schalten Sie das Gerät nicht mehrmals hintereinander ein und aus. Dies verringer die Lebensdauer des Gerätes.
•
Halten Sie von elektronischen Geräten, die Interferenzen verursachen können, fern.
•
Lassen Sie das Gerät in Betrieb nicht unbeaufsichtigt zurück.
•
Verwenden Sie die Originalverpackung, wenn das Gerät transportiert werden soll.
•
Bewahren Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung für künftige Einsichtnahme auf.

Installation
Das Gerät montieren
•
Lassen Sie das Gerät von einem Fachmann und gemäß den EN 60598-2-17 und allen anderen zutreffenden Normen installieren.
•
Die Konstruktion muss während einer Stunde eine Punktlast von maximal 10 x dem Gewicht des
Gerätes tragen können, ohne dass Verformung verursacht wird.

•
Das Gerät muss immer mit einer zweiten Befestigung z.B. mit einem Sicherheitskabel gesichert werden.
•
Stehen Sie während der Montage, Entfernung oder Wartung nie direkt unter dem Gerät. Lassen Sie das Gerät jährlich und vor der Inbetriebnahme von einem Fachmann prüfen.
•
Montieren Sie das Gerät an einem Ort, wo niemand es berühren kann und wo wenige Leute vorübergehen.
•
Eine gründliche praktische Erfahrung ist für die Installation des Gerätes notwendig: Sie müssen die max. Belastung der Tragkonstruktion berechnen können, wissen welches Konstruktionsmaterial Sie verwenden dürfen. Außerdem müssen Sie das verwendete Material und das Gerät regelmäßig nachsehen lassen. Montieren Sie das Gerät nie selber wenn Sie damit keine Erfahrung haben. Eine schlechte Montage kann Verletzungen verursachen.
•
Entfernen Sie alle entflammbaren Materialen in einem Abstand von 0.5m.
•
Lassen Sie das Gerät von einem qualifizierten Elektriker anschließen.
•
Schließen Sie das Gerät an das Hauptnetz und nicht an einen Dimmer an.
•
Die Installation muss vor Inbetriebnahme von einem Experten genehmigt werden.
DMX512-Anschluss
•
Wenn nötig, so verbinden Sie ein XLR-Kabel mit dem 3-Pin XLR-Ausgang der Steuerung (nicht mitgeliefert) und die andere Seite mit dem 3-Pin XLR-Eingang [4] des VDPL300CB. Sie können verschiedene VDPL300CB in Serie schalten. Verwenden Sie ein zweipoliges abgeschirmtes Kabel mit
XLR Ein- und Ausgangsanschlüssen.
•
Die max. empfohlene Kabellänge ist 500 Meter, die Höchstzahl von Geräten, verbunden mit demselben Anschluss ist 32.
•
Ein DMX-Abschlusswiderstand ist empfehlenswert für Installationen, bei denen das DMX-Kabel lang ist oder in einer Umgebung mit vielem elektrischem Rauschen (z.B. Discos). Der Abschlusswiderstand verhindert Störung des digitalen Steuersignals durch elektrisches Rauschen. Der DMX-
Abschlusswiderstand ist nur eine XLR-Buchse mit einem 120Ω Widerstand zwischen 2 und 3, die den
XLR-Ausgang [5] des letzten Geräts in der Kette angeschlossen wird.
7.
Anwendung
Nachfolgende Betriebsmodi können ausgewählt werden:

7.1
Bedienfeld
Bedienen Sie das Bedienfeld mit den vier Tasten [2] unten im LED-Display [1] . Von links nach rechts:

Die ausgewählte Menüfunktion wird im LED-Display angezeigt. Das LED-Display zeigt auch die nächste Menü-Option unter die Funktion an. Wählen Sie eine Menü-Option mit <ENTER> aus.

Blättern Sie mit <UP> und <DOWN> durch das Menü. Wählen Sie die Menüfunktion mit <ENTER> aus und drücken Sie auf <MENÜ> um ohne Änderung vom Wert zum Hauptmenü zurückzukehren.
7.2
Stand-Alone-Modus
Im Stand-Alone-Modus,wird ein eingebautes Programm abgespielt: automatisch oder musikgesteuert.
Den Stand-Alone-Modus einstellen:

Verbinden Sie nichts mit dem DMX-Eingang [4] des Gerätes.
2.
Drücken Sie auf <MENU> bis <AXX> im Display erscheint und drücken Sie <ENTER>.

7.3
Master/Slave-Modus
Mit dem Master/Slave-Modus können Sie mehrere Geräte mit einem einzigen Mastergerät verbinden. Alle
Slave-Geräte funktionieren dann synchron mit dem Mastergerät.
Wählen Sie ein Master-Gerät aus. Alle anderen Geräte sind dann Slave-Geräte.
1.
Verbinden Sie alle Geräte über DMX-Kabel in Serie.
2.
Wählen Sie das erste Gerät in der Reihe als Master-Gerät. Stellen Sie das Programm ein (siehe
Stand-Alone-Modus ).
3.
Stellen Sie die DMX-Startadresse auf jedem angeschlossenen Slave-Gerät auf <A001> ein: drücken
Sie auf <MENU> bis <A001> im Display erscheint und drücken Sie <ENTER>. Verwenden Sie <UP> und <DOWN> um <A001> auszuwählen und drücken Sie <ENTER>.
4.
Wiederholen Sie für jedes Slave-Gerät.
7.4
DMX-Steuerung
Steuerung vom Gerät über einen universellen DMX-Controller.
•
Alle DMX-gesteuerten Geräte brauchen eine digitale Startadresse, sodass das richtige Gerät auf die
Signale reagieren kann. Diese digitale Startadresse ist die Kanalnummer, von der das Gerät die
Befehle der DMX-Steuerung empfängt und ausführt. Sie können dieselbe Startadresse für eine ganze
Gruppe von Geräten verwenden oder eine separate Startadresse für jedes Gerät eingeben.
•
Wenn alle Geräte dieselbe Startadresse haben, werden sie auf einem spezifischen Kanal das
Steuersignal empfangen. Mit anderen Worten, wenn Sie die Einstellungen von einem Kanal ändern, werden alle Geräte zur gleichen Zeit beeinflusst. Wenn Sie verschiedene Adressen einstellen, wird jedes Gerät auf einem anderen Kanal Signale empfangen. Wenn Sie die Einstellungen ändern, wird nur das besagte Gerät beeinflusst.
•
Im Falle des 6-Kanal VDPL300CB, werden Sie die Startadresse des ersten Gerätes auf 1 (CH1~6), der zweiten Einheit auf 7 (1 + 6) (CH7~12), der dritten Einheit auf 13 (7 + 6) (CH13~18) usw. einstellen müssen.
Den DMX-Modus einstellen:
1.
Drücken Sie auf <MENU> bis <A001> im Display erscheint und drücken Sie <ENTER>.
2.
Verwenden Sie <UP> oder <DOWN> um die DMX-Startadresse (A001 ~ A512) und drücken Sie

8.
Reinigung und Wartung
•
Alle verwendeten Schrauben müssen fest angespannt werden und dürfen keine Rostspuren zeigen.
•
Das Gehäuse, die Linsen, die Montagebügel und der Montageort (z.B. Decke oder Gebinde) dürfen nicht angepasst werden, z.B. bohren Sie keine zusätzlichen Löcher in Montagebügel, verändern Sie die Anschlüsse nicht, usw.
•
Die mechanisch bewegenden Teile dürfen keinen Verschleiß aufweisen.
•
Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Netzkabel nicht beschädigt werden. Lassen Sie das Gerät von einer
Fachkraft installieren.
•
Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz ehe Sie mit den Servicearbeiten anfangen.
•
Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung ein trockenes, fusselfreies Tuch. Verwenden Sie auf keinen Fall Alkohol oder irgendwelche Lösungsmittel.
•
Außer Sicherung gibt es keine zu wartenden Teile.
•
Bestellen Sie eventuelle Ersatzunterteile bei Ihrem Fachhändler.
Die Sicherung ersetzen
Ersetzen Sie eine Sicherung durch eine Sicherung desselben Typs und derselben Leistung.
1.
Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Netz ehe Sie die Sicherung ersetzen.
2.
Machen Sie den Sicherungshalter auf der Rückseite der Basis mit einem geeigneten
Schraubendreher los.
3.
Entfernen Sie die defekte Sicherung und setzen Sie eine neue Sicherung gleichen Typs ein.
4.
Bringen Sie den Sicherungshalter wieder in das Gehäuse ein.

Instalacja

Montaż urządzenia
•
Instalację urządzenia powinna przeprowadzić wykwalifikowana osoba, zgodnie z normą EN 60598-2-
17 oraz innymi odnośnymi normami.
•
Konstrukcja nośna musi utrzymać przez godzinę bez odkształcania obciążenie 10 razy większe niż masa urządzenia.
•
Instalacja musi być zawsze zabezpieczona dodatkowym elementem, np. przewodem bezpieczeństwa.
•
Podczas montażu, zdejmowania lub serwisowania nigdy nie stawać bezpośrednio pod urządzeniem.
Raz do roku oraz przed dostarczeniem do serwisu urządzenie należy poddać kontroli przeprowadzanej przez wykwalifikowanego technika.
•
Należy zamontować urządzenie w mało uczęszczanym miejscu, oraz w taki sposób, aby było niedostępne dla nieupoważnionych użytkowników.
•
Instalacja na wysokości wymaga doświadczenia: konieczne jest obliczenie wartości granicznych obciążenia, oraz wybór materiału do instalacji. Należy regularnie kontrolować materiał i urządzenie.
Nie próbować samodzielnie instalować urządzenia w przypadku braku powyższych kwalifikacji, gdyż nieprawidłowa instalacja może spowodować obrażenia ciała.
•
Należy upewnić się, że w promieniu 0,5 m od urządzenia nie znajduje się materiał łatwopalny.
•
Połączenia przewodów elektrycznych powinny być wykonane przez wykwalifikowanego elektryka.
•
Podłączyć wtyczkę zasilającą urządzenia do zasilania sieciowego. Nie podłączać urządzenia do dimmera.
•
Przed rozpoczęciem użytkowania urządzenia instalacja musi zostać zatwierdzona przez eksperta.
Złącze DMX-512
•
Jeśli ma to w danym przypadku zastosowanie, podłączyć kabel XLR do 3-pinowego wyjścia żeńskiego
XLR sterownika (brak w zestawie), a drugi koniec kabla do 3-pinowego wejścia męskiego XLR [4] urządzenia VDPL300CB. Urządzenia mogą być łączone ze sobą łączem szeregowym. Jako łącza należy używać kabla dwurdzeniowego ekranowanego z wtyczkami wejściową i wyjściową XLR.
•
Maksymalna zalecana odległość szeregowego łącza danych wynosi 500 metrów. Zalecana maksymalna liczba urządzeń podłączonych do szeregowego łącza danych wynosi 32.
•
Do instalacji wymagających zastosowania przewodu DMX na długich odcinkach lub instalacji w miejscach, w których występują szumy elektryczne (np. w dyskotekach), zaleca się używanie terminatora DMX. Terminator zapobiega przekłamaniu cyfrowego sygnału sterującego wywołanemu szumem elektrycznym. Terminator DMX jest zwykłą wtyczką XLR z opornikiem 120 Ω zainstalowaną między pinami 2 i 3, którą podłącza się do gniazda wyjściowego XLR [5] ostatniego urządzenia w szeregu.

Obsługa
Urządzenie VDPL300CBmożna stosować w następujących trybach:
•
Tryb pracy niezależnej: automatyczny lub aktywowany dźwiękiem
•
Master/Slave (nadrzędny/podrzędny)
• ze sterownikiem DMX512.
7.1
Nawigacja panelu sterowania
Funkcje panelu sterowania ustawiane są za pomocą czterech przycisków [2] umieszczonych bezpośrednio pod wyświetlaczem [1] . Od lewej:

Użyć przycisków <UP> i <DOWN> do poruszania się po mapie menu i opcjach menu. Nacisnąć
<ENTER> w celu uzyskania dostępu do aktualnie wyświetlonej funkcji lub włączenia opcji w menu.
Aby powrócić do poprzedniej opcji lub menu bez zmiany wartości, nacisnąć przycisk <MENU>.
7.2
Tryb pracy niezależnej (Stand-Alone)
W trybie Stand-Alone urządzenie pracuje w jednym z wbudowanych programów: automatycznym lub aktywowanym dźwiękiem.
Ustawianie urządzenia w trybie Stand-Alone:

Nie podłączać niczego do wejścia DMX [4] urządzenia.
2.
Naciskać przycisk <MENU> do momentu wyświetlenia <AXX>, a następnie wcisnąć ENTER>.
3.
Wybrać wbudowany program za pomocą przycisków <UP> i <DOWN>:

Tryb Master/Slave
Tryb Master/Slave umożliwia szeregowe podłączenie kilku urządzeń do pojedynczego urządzenia Master.
Wszystkie urządzenia Slave będą pracować synchronicznie z urządzeniem Master.
Należy ustawić jedno urządzenie w trybie Master, a pozostałe urządzenia w trybie Slave.
1.
Połączyć wszystkie urządzenia szeregowo za pomocą kabla DMX.
2.
Pierwsze urządzenie w łańcuchu funkcjonuje jako urządzenie Master. Ustawić urządzenie zgodnie z opisem w punkcie Tryb Stand-Alone .
3.
Na każdym z podłączonych urządzeń Slave ustawić adres startowy DMX <A001> w następujący sposób: Naciskać przycisk <MENU> do momentu wyświetlenia <A001>, a następnie wcisnąć
<ENTER>. Używając przycisków <UP> i <DOWN> wybrać <A001> i wcisnąć <ENTER>.
4.
Powtórzyć powyższe czynności w przypadku każdego urządzenia Slave.
7.4
Tryb DMX
Ten tryb pozwala na sterowanie urządzeniem za pośrednictwem uniwersalnego sterownika DMX.
•
Wszystkie urządzenia sterowane przez DMX wymagają zastosowania cyfrowego adresu startowego w celu poprawnego reagowania na sygnały. Cyfrowy adres startowy to numer kanału, za którego pośrednictwem urządzenie „słucha" sterownika DMX. Jeden adres startowy może być stosowany dla całej grupy urządzeń lub można ustawić oddzielny adres dla każdego urządzenia.
•
Jeżeli wszystkie urządzenia posiadają ten sam adres, wówczas wszystkie jednostki będą „słuchać” sygnałów sterowania za pośrednictwem jednego określonego kanału. Innymi słowy: zmiana ustawień jednego kanału będzie miała wpływ jednocześnie na wszystkie urządzenia. Jeżeli ustawione zostaną oddzielne adresy, wówczas każde urządzenie będzie „słuchało” sygnałów za pośrednictwem oddzielnego kanału. Zmiana ustawień jednego kanału będzie miała więc wpływ tylko na dane urządzenie.
•
W przypadku 6-kanałowego urządzenia VDPL300CB należy ustawić adres startowy pierwszego urządzenia na 1 (CH1~6), drugiego urządzenia na 7 (1 + 6) (CH7~12), trzeciego urządzenia na 13
(7 + 6) (CH13~18), itd.
Konfiguracja urządzenia do współpracy ze sterownikiem DMX:
1.
Naciskać przycisk <MENU> do momentu wyświetlenia <A001>, a następnie wcisnąć <ENTER>.
2.
Używając przycisków <UP> i <DOWN>, ustawić adres startowy DMX (A001 ~ A512), a następnie wcisnąć <ENTER>.

Czyszczenie i konserwacja

Należy upewnić się, że wszystkie śruby są dokręcone i bez śladów korozji.
•
Obudowa, soczewki, wsporniki montażowe oraz miejsce instalacji (np. sufit, podwieszenie, belka kratowa) nie powinny być odkształcone, zmieniane lub poddawane modyfikacjom, np. nie można wiercić dodatkowych otworów w podporach montażowych ani zmieniać położenia podłączeń.
•
Ruchome części mechaniczne nie mogą nosić śladów zużycia.
•
Kable zasilające nie mogą być uszkodzone. Montaż urządzenia powinien przeprowadzić wykwalifikowany technik.
•
Przed rozpoczęciem konserwacji należy odłączyć urządzenie od zasilania sieciowego.
•
Regularnie wycierać urządzenie suchą, gładką ściereczką. Nie stosować alkoholu ani rozpuszczalników.
•
Wewnątrz urządzenia oprócz bezpiecznika nie ma części, które użytkownik mógłby serwisować samodzielnie.
•
W celu uzyskania części zamiennych należy skontaktować się ze sprzedawcą.
Wymiana bezpiecznika
Dopuszczalna jest wymiana bezpiecznika wyłącznie na model o jednakowym typie i wartości znamionowej.
1.
Przed wymianą bezpiecznika odłączyć zasilanie sieciowe.
2.
Odkręcić odpowiednim śrubokrętem uchwyt bezpiecznika znajdujący się na tylnym panelu podstawy.
3.
Wyjąć stary bezpiecznik i zamocować w uchwycie nowy.
4.
Ponownie włożyć uchwyt bezpiecznika do obudowy i przykręcić.
