Falcon 2090 Installation instructions

Falcon 2090 is a rim panic device designed for use on metal or wood doors. It can be installed with or without a cylinder and with or without a pull. The device is handed, meaning that it cannot be changed from right-hand to left-hand or vice versa. The crossbar length is equal to the distance between the housing vertical center lines minus 1-3/4".

The device can be set for hold-back or night latch operation. In hold-back mode, turning the key one complete rotation retracts the latch bolt. If the key is removed in this position, the latch bolt stays retracted. Returning the key to its original position before removing it allows the latch bolt to extend. In night latch mode, turning the key as far as it will go retracts the latch bolt. The key must be returned to its original position to be removed, leaving the door locked.
