SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• When performing operation at height, use a stable support.
• When drilling holes, use protection for hands and face.
• For fastening the product, use hardware supplied with the operator or other analogous one.
• Disconnect the supply, when installation, cleaning or other maintenance is being carried out.
• If the operator is installed on the door with a built-in pass door, an additional safety device should be installed to prevent operator activation when the pass door is open.
• Make sure that there will be no jamming of objects between moving and fixed operator elements when the door is in motion.
• It is highly recommended to use DoorHan optional equipment as the accessories produced by third-party manufacturers can damage the automatic system.
• DoorHan is not responsible for unstable work of the automatic system when using safety devices and accessories, which are produced by other manufactures without securing approval of DoorHan.
• Never leave the electric motors in released condition. This may cause uncontrolled movement of the door leaves and, consequently, their breakdown.
• Do not use the operator if it needs repair or adjustment as defects in operator installation or improperly installed door can cause injury.
• DoorHan shall not be held liable in case of improper installation of the product and damage arisen during operation.
• Since the operator does not have a power cord with a plug, the automatic system shall be connected to the mains supply via automatic switch with a minimum distance of 3 mm between the neighbouring contacts. It is recommended to use a 10А double-pole circuit breaker.

4. OPERATOR INSTALLATION
4.1. DOOR / DOOR INSTALLATION CHECK
The operator design is not intended for heavy door, i.e. the door, which cannot be manually (or can be only with great force) opened or closed. That is why, before the beginning of the operator mounting, it is necessary to check the door and to make sure that the door is opened and closed easily by hand. To this effect it is required to lift the door for about a meter and then to lower it. The door must remain in this position and not to move both up and down. If however the door is moving on one of the directions, then there is a danger that balancing springs have been damaged or incorrectly adjusted. In this case one must consider a possibility of increased wear or misoperation of the door.
WARNING! DANGER TO LIFE! Never attempt to change, adjust, repair or displace springs, which balance the door weight or its brackets by yourself. They are stretched with great force and may cause serious injuries. It is forbidden to operate the door requiring repair or adjustment, as such door defect or incorrect installation may also result in serious injuries.
4.2. BEFORE MOUNTING
Before mounting of the garage door operator it is necessary to check that the door mechanics is in trouble-free state and the door is balanced so that it can be easily moved by hand (EN 12604). Besides, one must inspect check if the door is easily opened and closed. It is also required to bring mechanical devices for door closing, which are not needed for operation of the door with the operator, into a nonoperable state. They include, in particular, door locking mechanisms. The garage door operator is designed for operation in dry rooms, that is why its mounting in the open is forbidden.

OPERATOR INSTALLATION
4.3. WHEN PERFORMING MOUNTING OPERATIONS
The party, performing mounting operations, must check availability of installation materials, included in the delivery, for specific mounting conditions.
4.4. TOOLS
1. Set of spanners
2. Set of flat-blade and cross screwdrivers
3. Set of drills for metal
4. Set of drills for concrete
5. Pliers
6. Hacksaw
7. Electric drill
8. Tape measure (folding rule)
4.5. OPERATOR MANUAL CONTROL
The knob of the built-in release is used to release the operator. It is possible to open and to close the door by hand after the door is released.
Release operation
• In order to lift or lower the door in case of a power cut, it is necessary to press and to turn the release knob (see
Figure 2) clockwise against stop, upon which the door can be lifted or lowered by hand.
• In order to return into the automatic operation mode it is required to turn the release knob into the middle position; upon which the door leaf can be lifted and lowered with the help of the operator.
