User Manual
Bluetooth Car Kit should be used with the
compatible devices which support bluetooth
wireless technology. This allows you the freedom to
make any calls at any time.
Please read this user manual carefully before using
the Car Kit, and also read your device’ $ user
manual regarding the bluetooth function, and pay
attention to those important safety and
maintenance information.
Please keep the Car Kit away from children.

Basic Operations
Charging Your Car Kit
* Prior to using for the first time, please fully charge the
Car Kit. The indicator light turns red when the Car Kit
is charging and it will turn blue after being fully
charged.
e Approximately 3 hours are required to fully charge
the Car Kit.
e When the Car Kit is running out off battery, the Car Kit
will beep as warning. The Car Kit will switch off
automatically when the battery is drained.
e Please charge the Car Kit in time to prolong the
battery's using life (Charging indication will be
delayed for a few minutes if the Car Kit has not
been used for a long time or the battery is
drained) .
Note:
® Use only the supplied charger to charge the Car Kit, or
will be dangerous.
e Do not attempt to force open the built-in battery since
this could damage the Car Kit.
elf left unused, a fully charged Car Kit will loose its
power automatically. It is recommended to charge the
Car Kit each 3 months.
«Do not leave the Car Kit in a too hot or too cold
condition (best between 15°C and 25°C) which may
affect its operations even itis fully charged.
eDo not dispose of the Car Kit into a fire or water.
Turning on the Car Kit
In OFF MODE, press and hold the MFB for 2-3
seconds until you hear a beep. When indicator light
flashes blue, the Car Kit is in STANDBY MODE. If
it is not paired with any devices, the indicator light will
flash blue twice every 3 seconds. After being paired,
the indicator light will flash blue every 10 seconds.
Turning off the Car Kit
In ON MODE, press and hold the MFB for 5-6 seconds
until you hear a beep and the indicator light flashes red
twice.
Pairing Your Car Kit with a Bluetooth Mobile
Phone
*Place your Car Kit and Mobile Phone within 1 meter
of each other, ensuring the car kit is off.
*Press and hold the MFB for 4-5 seconds until the
indicator light flashes blue and red alternately, the Car
Kit enters into PAIRING MODE.
¢Activate the bluetooth function on the phone, search
bluetooth devices (See the user guide of your phone
for instructions) .
eSelect “BKO63RD” from the found devices list
of the phone.
*Enter the passkey “0000” , confirm to pair the
Car Kit with your phone. (If the pairing cannot be
completed within 5 minutes after the PAIRING MODE
has been activated, the Car Kit will enter into the
STANDBY MODE. Repeat above steps to do the
pairing again).
e Ensure the distance between your Car Kit and phone
is within 10 meters, and without any obstacles,
you can use the Car Kit freely.
elf the Car Kit had paired with your phone but
disconnected, it will connect the paired phone
automatically if you turn on the Car Kit again within
operation range.
Disconnecting
When you need to disconnect your Car Kit, please
follow the steps as below:
* From your mobile phone: Select “ Disconnecting”
on the Bluetooth device list from your phone’ s
Bluetooth menu.
* From the Car Kit: Power off the Car Kit, and repeat the
pairing and connecting steps above to connect with
other Bluetooth devices.
Answering a Call
When receiving a phone call, press MFB once.
Ending a Call
Press MFB once
Rejecting a Call
Press and hold the MFB for 3 seconds
Voice Dialing
In STANDBY MODE, press MFB once and say the
voice tag as soon as you hear the tone. (Ensure
your phone supports voice dialing function, and you
have recorded the voice tag into your phone. See the
user guide of your phone for instructions.)
Last Number Redialing
In STANDBY MODE, press MFB twice.
Adjusting Volume
Press V+ or V- to adjust the volume to meet your need.
(It will beep when it reaches the max vol or minimum
vol.)
Mute/Un-mute the Microphone
During a call, press and hold the Mute Button for 3
seconds.
Press and hold the Mute Button for 3 seconds again to
un-mute the microphone and resume the conversation.
Delete Pairing Record on the Car Kit
Press and hold V+ , V- and MFB simultaneously for 3
seconds until the indicator light flashes red twice and
hear a beep.
Transfer a Call
1.Transfer a call from Car Kit to mobile phone: During a
call, press V+ and V- for 3 seconds simultaneously, the
call is routed to your phone.
2. Transfer a call from a mobile phone to the car kit:
a.When the mobile phone keeps connection with the
carkit, press V+ and V- for 3 seconds simnltaneously,
and the call is routed to your carkit. (both two-link
connection and single connection can be realized.)
b.When the mobile phone disconnect with the carkit,
press MFB once to rout the call back to your
carkit.(Only single connection can be realized.)
Note: It does not guarantee all the mobile phones can
realize the above functions due to different mobile
technology.
Two-link function operates:
1.Pair your carkit with the 1st mobile phone, then turn
off the car kit.
2.Repeat the pairing procedure for the 2nd mobile
phone.
3.Select “BKO63RD” from the found devices list of the
1st mobile phone and make the connection.
4.When the headset is answering the calling from A
mobile, and there is a comming call from B mobile
phone, press MFB once to answer the B mobile
phone and hold the phone call from A mobile. You
can press MFB once to transfer a call between A and
B mobile phones. When you want to end the retained
calling, press MFB twice.
Note: It does not guarantee all the mobile phones can
realize the above functions due to different mobile
technology.
Care and Maintenance
e Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the
Car Kit.
e Do not allow the Car Kit to come into contact with
sharp objects as this will cause scratching and
damage.
e Be sure to store the Car Kit in a dry place, free from
extreme temperatures, humidity and dust.
* Never place or store the Car Kit over the area of
automobile’ s safety airbag deployment, as it may
cause serious injury if a safety airbag deploys.
Additional Statements
e The Car Kit is compliant with the specified Bluetooth
version. It does not guarantee compatibility of all
functions on every Bluetooth enabled device.
e Please check your device’ s user manual for
compatibility and functionality.
+ Charge the Car Kit under any status to a reset.
° The Car Kit will turn off automatically if it can
not be connected with any Bluetooth devices
within 20 minutes.
. The Car Kit will beep when operates
successfully, but this may be too low to hear.
. The above operations may vary due to different
devices.
