1. Befestigen Sie den MicroLink-FM-Emp-
fanger am unteren Teil des Hörgerätes,
so daß er einklickt.
Stellen Sie den MicroLink-FM-Empfänger
ein, indem Sie den Schalter des Hör-
gerätes auf die richtige Audio-Input-Posi-
tion stellen, gemaB den Angaben Ihres
Hörgeräteakustikers (vergessen Sie nicht,
den Sender einzustellen, siehe Punkt 10).

A. Pour mettre en place
et enlever le récepteur MicroLink
1. Placez le récepteur FM MicroLink sur
la partie inférieure de l'aide auditive
et pressez jusqu'à се qu'il s'enclenche.
Mettez votre récepteur FM MicroLink
en marche en réglant le commutateur de
l'aide auditive sur la position audio Conve-
nable, comme vous l'a indiqué votre
audioprothésiste (n'oubliez pas de mettre
l'émetteur en marche, voir point 10).
2. Pour enlever le récepteur MicroLink,
tournez-le comme indiqué sur le dessin.
Le MicroLink est maintenant débranché.
La consommation du récepteur FM MicroLink
est très faible (moins de 1,5 mA). Il est ali-
mente par la pile de l'aide auditive. Pour
prolonger la durée de vie de fa pile, nous vous
recommandons de toujours retirer le récep-
teur MicroLink de l'aide auditive quand vous
n'utilisez pas la transmission FM.

Das MicroLink/Microvox-System ist weltweit
das kleinste FM-Kommunikationssystem, das
spezifisch für die Anwendung mit Phonak-
Hinter-Ohr-Hörgeräten entwickelt wurde, um
das Hören in schwierigen Hórsituationen zu
verbessern. Der Sender wird vom Sprecher
getragen (z.B. vom Schullehrer oder Ge-
sprachspartner des Hörgerätebenützers) oder
einfach an eine Tonquelle angeschlossen
(z.B. Fernseher, Radio). Der Sender überträgt
das Sprachsignal mittels Radiowellen direkt
zum MicroLink-Empfänger, der an das Hör-
gerät angeschlossen ist. Das vom Hörgerät
aufgenommene Sprachsignal wird gemäß der
audiologischen Einstellung des Gerätes wei-
terverarbeitet, welche konstante Tonqualität
gewährleistet. Der MikroLink-FM-Empfanger
verbraucht sehr wenig Batteriestrom {weniger

D. Principle of Operation
The Microlink/Microvox system ts the world's
smallest FM communication system, spectfi-
cally designed for use with Phonak BTE hear-
ing instruments, and used to improve hearing
in difficult listening environments. The trans-
matter unit is worn by the person speaking
(e.g. the school teacher or the hearing instru-
ment user's conversation partner) or simply
placed in front of the sound source fe.g. TV)
The transmitter unit collects the desired
speech signal and transmits it via radio waves,
directly to the MicroLink receiving unit at-
tached to the hearing instrument. The incom-
ing speech signal received by the hearing in-
strument is processed in accordance with the
audiological setting of the instrument, provid-

tion, focal static interference, and radio wave
propagation conditions (building construc-
tion, metal in walls, doorways, etc.) If FM re-
ception stops, even though the hearing tn-
