Air Compressors Quick Start Manual
Please read and save these instructions. Read carefully before attempting to assemble, install, operate or maintain the product described. Protect yourself and others by observing all safety information. Failure to comply with instructions could result in personal injury and/or property damage! Retain instructions for future reference.
Symbols
In this manual and/or the machine the following symbols are used;
Warning/ Danger Wear ear protection.
Read manual before use.
Wear eye protection.
In accordance with essential applicable safety standards of Euopean directives
Double insulated.
General power tools safety warnings
Working area
• Keep working area clean and well lit. Dark areas can lead to accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in potentially explosive surroundings, for example, in the presence of inflammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders at a distance when operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control of it.
Electrical safety
Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the
rating plate.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the compressor. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
• When operating a compressor outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use.
Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
• Do not use in rain or humidity conditions. Water entering increases the risk or a short circuit.
• Avoid accidental starting of the tool. Make sure the switch is “OFF” before connecting the power cord to the grid.
• Do not overload compressor. Do not use power tools for a different purpose than the one for which they are intended.

Personal safety
• Always use ear and eye protection when working with the machine or perform maintenance.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from the power tool. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can become entangled in the moving parts.
Service
Your power tool should be serviced by a qualified specialist using only OEM spare parts. This will ensure that it meets PCL’s required safety standards.
Specific safety instrutions for air compressors
WARNING! Make sure that both air consumption and maximum effective
pressure of pneumatic tools are compatible with the pressure set by the
pressure switch and the volume of air supplied by the compressor.
• During operation the compressor and pipes reach high temperatures. Contact causes burns.
• Keep a minimum distance of 4 meters between the compressor and working area.
• The compressor gases must not contain substances that could lead to fire or explosion on the compressor.
• During operation, to ensure correct lubrication, the compressor must be placed on a table horizontal surface.
• To ensure optimal cooling, the compressor will be placed at a minimum distance of 50 cm from the wall.
• When uncoupling, the hose will be held by hand to avoid injury from hose whip.
• Always wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying objects.
• Do not weld the tank. In case of faults or corrosion, please replace immediately.
• Avoid using air pipes and power extension cables with excessive length.
• To extend operating life, the compressor must be used in a suitable environment (well ventilated, and never in places affected by dust, acid, vapors, explosive or flammable gas at an ambient temperature + 5°C ... + 40°C.
• The machine is double insulated. This means it has two completely independent types of insulation that prevents the operator to enter into direct contact with the metal parts. This measure represents the highest degree of protection against electrocution.
Application
This compressor is intended for personal use for the production of compressed air. DO NOT RUN
THE COMPRESSOR WITH ANY OTHER TYPES OF GAS.
Operations: swelling, operations that require connection of pneumatic tools, painting, washing with aqueous detergent, by following the specific rules.
IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR CONSTANT PROFESSIONAL USE.

Operation
WARNING! Before commissioning must check the oil level in the
compressor.
3
WARNING! IN case of any abnormal noise, immediately turn off the tool
and contact an authorized service facility for repairs.
Assembly and component checking
• Install wheels (3) and foot (4) - with bolts and nuts provided.
• Replacing the air filter (1) - Remove the brackets used during transport with a screwdriver or similar tool and attach an air filter (1) by screwing on the device. (Fig. 7)
• Changing the oil cap closure (14) - Remove the transport cover from the oil filler hole using a screwdriver and place the cap closure (14) in the spout (Fig 8).
• The compressor is equipped with power-connection cable with protective contact plug. It can be plugged into any socket with protective contact 230V ~ 50Hz which is equipped with a safety 16 A. Before starting, check whether the mains voltage corresponds to the operating voltage stated on the data plate device. Power cords and extension cords or long cable drums causes low voltage and prevent proper starting.
• Safety valve (10) is adjusted to the maximum allowable pressure of the pressure tank.
Do Not modify or remove the safety valve seal. To function properly in the event of switch damage, safety valve should be checked weekly. Firmly pull ring out until the compressed

air comes out. Then release the safety valve again.
• Check oil level: place the compressor on a flat, horizontal surface. The oil level should be between MAX and MIN values of the viewfinder.
Start / stop the operation. Compressor start by pulling out the button. (8)
To switch off, the button (8) must be pressed down. (Fig. 2)
Pressure regulation
With pressure regulator (7) working pressure can be adjusted, as measured by gauge (6). Set pressure could be taken from the quick coupling (5). The pressure in the tank could be measured at any time with pressure gauge (12) and could be taken from the quick coupling
(16).
Pressure switch adjusting
The pressure switch is set by factory, do not adjust.
• Starting pressure: 6 bar
• Stop pressure: 8 bar
Condensation discharge
Water condensation should drain weekly by opening the drain valve (11) located in the bottom of the tank. WARNING! Condensation liquid may contain traces of oil.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING! Before any intervention on the machine, disconnect the power
supply from the mains and wait until the compressor has cooled completely!
Risk of burns!
WARNING! Before performing any cleaning or maintenacne operation
completely drain the air tank.
General cleaning
Regularly clean the machine housing with a soft cloth, preferably after each use. If the dirt does not come off used a soft cloth moistened with soapy water.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia, etc. These solvents may damage the plastic parts.
Air filter cleaning (1)
The air filter prevents dust and dirt intake. It is necessary to clean the filter after no more than
100 hours of operation. A clogged air filter greatly reduces compressor power. Remove the filter and loosen the butterfly screw, remove the filter from two halves of the plastic housing, clean it and blow it with compressed air at low pressure (approx. 3 bar). Place the filter back into original position.
Oil replacement
Recommended Oil SAE 15W / 40 or similar.
The oil must be changed after filling the first 100 hours of operation. After the oil must be replaced every 500 hours of operation.
To replace the oil, stop the engine and pull the plug. Once you have completely evacuated the air from the tank, you can unscrew the oil drain cap (15) from the compression chamber. To avoid an uncontrolled leakage of oil, place a gutter underneath, and collect the oil in a container.
If the oil does not drain completely tighten the oil drain cap (15) back in place. Fill with new oil through the hole (14) until the level needed. Then tighten the oil cap.
Used oil and condensate must be disposed of in compliance with protection of environment and current legislation.
