TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Please make sure that your house installation voltage corresponds to the voltage marked on the unit.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Your appliance has been packaged carefully to ensure the product reaches you in good condition. If the product has been damaged, dropped, has a malfunction in any way, or if the supply cord is damaged, immediately contact your retailer for replacement or repair.
Carefully unpack your appliance. Make sure you do not discard any packaging material until all parts of the appliance have been found.
Carefully wipe the exterior of the appliance to remove any dust that may have accumulated. Dry with a dry towel. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners. Remove any label or sticker.
WARNING!
Do not immerse in water or any other liquids.
PACKAGE CONTENTS
You should have the following:
1 Vacuum cleaner
1 Floor nozzle
1 Flexible hose
2 Plastic extension tubes
OPERATION GUIDE
• Carry the vacuum cleaner to the area to be vacuumed.
• Fit the hose, extending tubes and floor tool to the vacuum cleaner.
•
Extend or retract the brush on the main floor tool as required for the type of floor to be vacuumed. Extend brush for hard floors such as tiles or wood and retract for rugs and carpet.
• Ensure the dust compartment filter is correctly fitted.
Warning!
Do not operate without this filter assembly in place.

• Insert the power plug into a mains outlet corresponding with the vacuum cleaner requirements of 220 – 240V ~ 50
Hz - AC only.
•
Switch on power at the mains outlet.
•
Set the suction control to the desired power level of the vacuum cleaner. Rotate clockwise to increase and anticlockwise to decrease.
•
Depress the on/off switch to start or stop the vacuum cleaner. The cleaner will now suction.
• The vacuum cleaner has a manual air flow regulator attached to the hose handle. This is used to briefly lower the suction level during operation; the further open the regulator the weaker the suction power.
•
Poor suction! If the suction is poor check the dust compartment is not full. Regularly empty the dust compartment. Never use without a filter assembly fitted.
CORD STORAGE
The vacuum cleaner is fitted with a cord storage system under the base. Extend the rear cord holder assembly outwards and carefully wrap the cord around this and the front wheel assembly.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Vacuum
To clean the outer surface of the vacuum cleaner, use a soft damp cloth and dry the appliance afterwards with a dry towel.
Ensure that no moisture enters the appliance. Stubborn spots can be cleaned with a cloth moistened with mild liquid detergent. Do not use solvents to clean plastic parts. Liquids such as solvents, petrol and oils that contain chemical substances may damage, corrode or destroy the plastic parts of the appliance. Do not put any detergents or any cleaning agents into the vacuum cleaner.
Keep the ventilation slots on the vacuum cleaner clean to prevent the appliance from overheating.

Dust compartment
Press the release button located at the front of the handle to release the dust compartment. Remove the main filter assembly. Empty the contents from the dust compartment and re-install carefully ensuring the compartment clicks securely into place, noting there is a ‘double click lock’ fitted.
Filters
Main
Regularly clean the dust compartment main filter assembly with a soft brush.
Air Intake
Remove the air intake filter (located on main motor housing between motor assembly and dust compartment). This may be washed in cold water.
Rear outlet
Remove the rear outlet air filter and clean. This may be washed in cold water. To remove filter lift the rear outlet grill slightly and pull backwards.
Warning!
Both filters must be completely dry before use.
STORAGE: Unplug vacuum cleaner from the mains outlet.
Store in its box or in a dry place with all of its accessories.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electric appliances always observe safety regulations where applicable to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. Always check that the power supply corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.
Supply
This appliance must be connected to a suitable 230-240V ~
50Hz power supply. If using an extension cord, ensure that the extension cord is of a suitable 10amp power rating and of a suitable size. Fully uncoil any cord used as a coiled cord may overheat. It is not recommended to use other appliances on the same circuit as that supplying any critical appliance such as refrigerators, ovens or similar that may require constant electricity supply.

Supply cord and plug
Do not abuse or damage the power cord. Fully uncoil before use. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
Children
Caution. Keep out of reach of children . This appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons. Young children must be supervised by a responsible person to ensure that they can operate the appliance safely. Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance
WARNING: Only allow children to use the appliance without supervision when adequate instructions have been given so that the child is able to use the appliance in a safe way and understands the hazards of improper use.
Use and environment
Do not use outdoors. Do not leave in direct sunlight as this may damage the plastic. This appliance is for household use only, not commercial or industrial use. The power socket must be readily accessible so that the oven can be unplugged in an emergency.
Damaged or dropped
Always inspect your appliance before use. Do not use this appliance if it has been damaged, dropped, left outdoors or dropped in water. Return it to an authorised service dealer for examination and repair.
Danger to children
Safely dispose of plastic bags and other components of the packaging. They may be potentially dangerous to children.
General danger
Warning!
Do not suction up liquid, hot ash, plasterboard residue, cement dust, pins or other sharp objects.

Guarantee Card
This product is guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase. The obligation to the purchaser under this warranty is limited to servicing the unit and replacing defective parts when the product is returned freight prepaid to the retailer.
This warranty becomes void if the product has been tampered with, damaged by accident, damaged in any other way by improper use or has been purchased second hand. All production orders have quality inspections. In the unlikely event of a deficiency, please contact the retailer from whom this product was purchased
