PRODUCT BULLETIN NO. 2738 END-OF-SALE AND END-OF-LIFE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE CISCO CNS ACCESS REGISTRAR 1.6 ® ® ® Cisco Systems announces the end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for the Cisco CNS Access Registrar 1.6. The last day to order the Cisco CNS Access Registrar 1.6 is August 1, 2001. Customers with active service contracts will continue to receive support from the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC) until August 1, 2004. Table 2 lists the product part numbers affected by this announcement. Customers are encouraged to migrate to Cisco CNS Access Registrar 3.5, which delivers carrier-class performance and scalability as well as the extensibility required for integration with the latest evolving service-management systems for service providers. End-of-Life Milestones and Dates for Cisco CNS Access Registrar 1.6 Milestone Definition Date End-of-Sale Date The last date to order the product through Cisco point-of-sale mechanisms. August 1, 2001 The product is no longer for sale after this date. End of Software Maintenance Releases Date The last date that Cisco Engineering may release any final software August 1, 2002 maintenance releases or bug fixes. After this date, Cisco Engineering will no longer develop, repair, maintain, or test the product software. End of Service Contract Renewal Date The last date to extend or renew a service contract for the product. The August 1, 2003 extension or renewal period cannot extend beyond the last date of support. Last Date of Support The last date to receive service and support for the product. After this August 1, 2004 date, all support services for the product are unavailable, and the product becomes obsolete. Table 2.
