Colorado CLVC-1225SW is a powerful and versatile ash vacuum cleaner, designed to make cleaning up after a fire easy and efficient. With its impressive 1200W motor, it can quickly and effectively remove ash, cinders, and other debris from fireplaces, stoves, and BBQs.
The vacuum cleaner features a twin-chamber design, with a lower chamber to filter out heavier cinders and charcoal, and an upper chamber to filter the ash. The intake hose is connected to the lower chamber, where the heavy cinders and charcoal are separated from the ash and stored for disposal. The ash then travels to the upper chamber, where it is filtered and stored for disposal.

CAUTION:
Check that the mains power supply matches the appliance’s electric rating. This is printed on the rating label of the ash vacuum.
When the appliance is not in use, please remove plug from mains supply.
The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before cleaning or performing maintenance on the ash vacuum.
Do not remove the plug by pulling the power cord.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when it is in use.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are being supervised or given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
As with all electrical appliances, children should not be left unattended with the Ash Vac.
If the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid potential injury.
Do not vacuum the following objects: liquids, flammable and explosive material, corrosive material and burning ash, matches, or cigarette butts.
Do not use the appliance to vacuum dust.
Store the appliance in a dry environment.
Don’t touch the live parts in the appliance, even when the product is disconnected from the mains power supply.
Repairs to the appliance should be carried out by the manufacturer or its authorised service agent or similarly qualified persons.
Do not use appliance for anything other than its intended use.
Use accessories and spare parts supplied by the manufacturer or its authorised service agent.
Only use the appliance to vacuum fireplace, stoves and BBQ’s. Do not vacuum ash with a temperature greater than 50°C. Do not vacuum ash and other objects that are not completely extinguished.
Only use the filter as supplied with the appliance by the manufacturer. Only use correct replacement filters. Do not use filters by any other manufacturer.

A. Installation of the vacuum cleaner
Unpack the appliance and the accessories. Check the appliance and accessories are in good condition.

Loosen the clasp, and remove the motor / filter cover from the appliance.
Attach the filter set to the bottom of cover.
Replace the motor / filter cover on the container and tighten the clasp.
Connect the nozzle to the aluminium hose ( Photo A1) Connect the opposite end of the hose to the appliance.
B. Vacuum ash
Only use the filter supplied.
When the vacuum is full or it proves difficult to vacuum more ash, the filter should be removed and cleaned.
While vacuuming the fireplace ash, the ash temperature must not exceed 50 degrees. (Photo A2).
Do not vacuum ash when fire is not extinguished!

C. After Use
Press the switch to turn off vacuum cleaner.
Unplug from the wall / electrical supply.
Roll up the power cable.
Disassemble the hose from the appliance.
Remove the motor / filter cover from the appliance.
Empty both chambers and clean.
To clean the filter, remove and wash it carefully (as shown in photo A3). Ensure the filter is completely dry before re-installing in the Ash Vacuum.

D. Maintenance

The chambers and filter should be cleaned using water on a regular basis.
The filter cover should be cleaned with a dry cloth.
If the vacuum appears to lose suction, check that the hose is connected correctly and is free from blockages.
E. How the product works:
The ash vacuum consists of two chambers and a motor / filter cover. The lower chamber filters out heavier cinders while the upper chamber filters the ash. The intake hose is connected to lower chamber.
Here the heavy cinders and charcoal are separated from the ash and stored here for disposal. The ash travels to the upper chamber where it is then filtered and stored for disposal.
The symbol on the product means that at the end of its life, the appliance has not to be considered a common waste. It is a special waste and has to be demolished in specific recovery and disposal area, as prescribed by the EC Directive 2002/96/EC(WEEE). By disposing this product correctly, you can avoid negative consequences for the environment and for the human health, due to the presence of potentially dangerous substances in the product.
