If during motor operation an unsuitable object will be inserted through the opening in the mixing beaker lid, it may be caught by the knife and inflict injuries in the user. EN Use the enclosed pusher only. Risk of scalding with escaping vapour and spatters! Hot liquids should be mixed only with low speeds and with the lid plug tightly fitted. Do not use the mixing beaker to process liquids or food products of temperature above 80°C. Before First Use 1. Make sure that all components of the appliance and accessories are available and in sound condition. 2. Prior to first use, thoroughly clean the appliance and equipment, following instructions in section 6 'Cleaning'. 3. All washed parts should be dried thoroughly. 14 / 22 150159 Installation and operation Appliance Start-Up 1. Place the motor block on an even, stable, and dry surface. 2. Prepare food products for processing. 3. Put them in the mixing beaker. Do not overfill the mixing beaker. Pay attention to the filling marks placed on the mixing beaker. The operational volume of the mixing beaker up to 'MAX' mark is 2,000 ml. During processing of hot or foaming products and during work at high speed, fill the mixing beaker only up to 2/3 of the maximum operational volume of 2,000 ml. ATTENTION! There is a risk of damaging the appliance if the mixing beaker is inserted onto the motor block when the appliance is on. Disconnect the plug from mains power supply. Always start with inserting the mixing beaker onto the motor block, and them proceed with connecting the appliance to the power supply. • Insert lid onto the mixing beaker, so that it the magnet and the proximity sensor come in contact with each other (Fig. above). The appliance must be started only with the correctly inserted lid and correctly inserted mixing beaker. 4. Close the lid with the transparent lid plug. Fig. 4 150159 15 / 22 EN Installation and operation Mixing Process 1. Plug the appliance into a suitable single socket. 2. Switch the appliance on by setting the ON/OFF switch in 'I' (ON) position. After mixing, switch the appliance off and check the consistence of the mixed ingredient. 6. If needed, switch the appliance back on after cooling off. 7. After each mixing wait for the appliance to cool down in order to prevent overheating due to too long an operation. 8. When ingredients are supposed to be mixed shortly, use the PULSE function with the appropriate pulse operation switch. This function makes the motor operating at the maximum speed when the switch is on. 9. If needed, you may use the opening in the lid to add subsequent ingredients during operation; to this end, remove the transparent lid plug. 10. If needed, use the enclosed pusher to move the added ingredients towards the knife. The pusher is designed in such way that it does not touch the knife at the beaker bottom. 11. Close the lid again with the plug. 12. Do not process too much of solid or hard products in one batch. For better results process them in smaller amounts. 13. If the knife is blocked, and the motor starts to seize, proceed in the following way: – switch the appliance off immediately, – disconnect the plug from the socket, – remove some of the ingredients from the mixing beaker, – mix the ingredients manually in the mixing beaker, – continue with mixing by pressing the ON/OFF switch. 16 / 22 150159 Cleaning 14. When ingredients reach the required consistence, switch the appliance OFF (ON/OFF switch in 'O' position). 15. Wait for the motor to stop. 16. Only then may you remove the mixing beaker from the motor block. 17. Empty the mixing beaker. 18.
