1. Product description

The Ranger AT0200 is a 2-in-1 Bluetooth receiver and transmitter which incorporates the latest 'aptX' codec for less latency, high audio quality. The Ranger AT0200 is very simple to use and enables any Bluetooth enabled music device to connect to both Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth devices. It can be used to enable a phone to transmit music to a home stereo system - or just as easily, to allow a CD player or other device to transmit music to a Bluetooth enabled speaker system or headphones. With a compact design and internal rechargeable battery with long playing time, the Ranger AT0200 is the ideal solution to link your music devices - any time and any place you need it.

3. Charging C D E

Ranger AT0200 comes with a built-in rechargeable battery that provides a very long standby and working time. We recommend charging the battery fully before using it for the first time.

1) Insert one Micro USB charging cable end into Ranger AT0200 Micro USB socket, and put the other end into a standard USB power outlet, such as laptop or desktop.

2) It takes 3 hours to charge fully and reach its full capacity for the first time. Each subsequent charge cycle take around 2 hours.

3) LED will indicate red when charging, and goes off when charging is complete.

4) If you have not used the device for a few months, LED might not turn red when first charging. It might take 15-35 minutes before the LED turns red.

5) We suggest fully charging the device at least once every two months

4. Transmitter: turn On / Off

Push the click button to TX mode from TX / RX positon before power on.

TX or RX mode cannot be changed after powering on Ranger AT0200.

Turn On: press and hold the MFB button for about 5 seconds until the blue LED is on for 1 second

Note: For first time use or first time turn on after clear connection list, Ranger AT0200 transmitter will automatically enter into pairing mode –LED flashes blue quickly.

Turn Off: press and hold the MFB button for about 3 seconds until the red LED is on for 1 second, and then goes off.

5. Transmitter: pairing with a Bluetooth device

After Ranger AT0200, under TX mode, has connected to a Bluetooth stereo device, you can stream music wirelessly. Before pairing, please make sure your Bluetooth stereo receiver supports Bluetooth A2DP profile .

Pairing procedure:

A. Plug the 3.5 mm audio cable into Ranger AT0200 3.5 mm audio socket. Plug the other end

(or 2 x RCA ) into the audio output of an audio source system

(e.g. iPod, TV, Treadmill etc).

B. Ensure Ranger AT0200 has pushed into TX mode, and the device is off.

Note:

1) Ranger AT0200 blue LED will flash 3 times within 4 seconds after connection with another

Bluetooth device which also supports the aptX codec.

Both transmitter and receiver are incorporated with aptX codec, it will help low latency and higher audio quality compare with standard Bluetooth audio

2) The pairing mode will last 2 minutes. Ranger AT0200 will enter standby mode if no devices can be connected within 2 mins

3) Ranger AT0200 can pair with stereo Bluetooth receiver devices using PIN code “0000”,

“1111”, “8888” or “1234”.

We find most problems are caused by improper pairing.

6. Receiver: turn On / Off

C. Put Ranger AT0200 and your Bluetooth stereo receiver device within 1 meter.

D. Power on your Bluetooth stereo receiver device and put it into pairing mode.

E. Press and hold Ranger AT0200 MFB button for around 5-7 seconds until the blue LED blinks quickly, indicating it is in pairing mode.

(Note: For first time use or first time power on after clearing the connection list, Ranger AT0200 will automatically enter into pairing mode – the Blue LED blinks quickly.)

F. Ranger AT0200 will then automatically search, pair and connect with your Bluetooth stereo receiver device.

G. After successful connection, the Blue LED will flash twice every 4 seconds.

H. Pairing is complete – now you can enjoy the wireless audio.

Push the click button to RX mode from TX / RX position before power on.

TX or RX mode cannot be changed after powering on Ranger AT0200.

Turn On: press and hold Ranger AT0200 MFB button for around 5-7 seconds until the blue

LED is on for 1 second.

Turn Off: press and hold Ranger AT0200 MFB button for around 3-4 seconds until the red LED is on for 1 second, and then goes off.

7. Receiver: pairing with a Bluetooth device

7.1Pairing procedure:

A. Plug the 3.5 mm audio cable into Ranger AT0200 3.5 mm audio socket. Plug the other end

(or 2 x RCA) into the audio input of your home hi-fi stereo system.

B. Ensure Ranger AT0200 has pushed into RX mode, and the device is off.

C. Put Ranger AT0200 and your Bluetooth-enabled phone within 1 meter.

D. Press and hold Ranger AT0200 MFB button for around 6-8 seconds until the blue and red

LEDs blink quickly and alternatively, indicating it is in pairing mode.

E. Make your smartphone into Bluetooth mode. Taking an iPhone as an example: From your iPhone home page, tap “Settings” “General “ “ Bluetooth” “ On”

Note: Different phones and tablets have different procedures to activate the Bluetooth function, pair, connect with other Bluetooth devices. For example:

F. iPhone will auto-scan for available Bluetooth devices. Click “Ranger AT0200” from the list of devices shown; tap “Yes” or ”Confirm” accordingly.

G. After successful pairing and get connected, the blue LED will blink twice every 4 seconds.

Note:

• Pairing mode will last 2 minutes. The receiver will enter standby mode if no devices can be connected within 2 minutes.

• Ranger AT0200 receiver can pair with stereo Bluetooth devices using PIN code “0000”,

“1111”, “8888” or “1234”.

• If pairing has failed, power off Ranger AT0200 and redo the pairing process according to above mentioned procedures.

• Ranger AT0200 can remember 8 paired devices. When the number of paired devices exceeds 8, the first one will be replaced.

• Each time Ranger AT0200 powers on, it will connect to the last connected device automatically. If you want to pair it to other devices, turn off the current device’s Bluetooth function first and try to pair the receiver to the new device according to above mentioned pairing procedures.

7.2 LED indicator instruction:

7.3 Get maximum stable range.

Please kindly make sure there is no obstacle (wall corner etc.,) between receiver and transmitter.

8. Advanced functions

8.1 Streaming music

When Ranger AT0200 is used as a receiver, you can connect it to a 3.5mm stereo headset or stereo speaker with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio cable. You will be able to listen to music and control pause/play of music

8.2 Charging and streaming music

When battery is low, but you still want to use Ranger AT0200 in TX or RX mode, you can charge the device and stream audio sound simultaneously.

8.3 Reconnecting to a Bluetooth device

A. Automatic connecting: Once Ranger AT0200 is powered on, it will automatically connect with the last connected device.

B. Manual connecting: When Ranger AT0200 is in standby mode and doesn’t connect to any device, short press MFB button once and it will automatically connect to the last connected device.

C. Auto off: Ranger AT0200 will automatically power off if no devices can be connected within

5 minutes.

D. Clearing pairing list: Ensure Ranger AT0200 is off, press and hold MFB button for around

10 -12 seconds till red LED is on for 1 second and then Blue LED is on for 1 second.
