Pedestal Base Instruction Sheet

Insert (2) 3/8” 16 x 1.25” hex bolts through the holes in the top plate (the smaller disk) and into the threaded plate in either end of the tube. Tighten to a torque of 120 to 150 inlb (10.0 to 12.5 ft-lb.)

Tip the tube assembly on its side. Insert (2)

3/8” 16 x 1.25” hex bolts through the holes in the bottom plate (the larger disk) and into the threaded plate in the open end of the tube.

Make sure the glides are facing the bottom.

Tighten to a torque of 120 to 150 in-lb (10.0 to

12.5 ft-lb.)

Set the assembled base upright on the glides. 4.

Position the top over the base so that the pilot holes line up with the holes in the top plate.

Note that the clearance holes for the hex bolts must also be aligned properly. Insert (8) #10 x

1.00” screws into the holes and tighten to a torque of 30 to 35 in-lb.
