Dieses Tankring-Kit ist für alle Kawasaki Modelle geeignet, die eine Innenbefestigung des originalen
Tankverschlusses aufweisen. Für die Montage muss der originale Tankdeckel in den beiliegenden
Austauschrahmen eingebaut werden.
This tankring kit is suitable for all Kawasaki models, which have an internal fastening of the original tank cap.
For assembly, the original fuel filler cap must be installed in the enclosed replacement frame.

Bitte die Aussparung (s. Abb. 1) des Tankrings bei Modellen ab Baujahr
2022 beachten. Bei Modellen vor Bj. 2022 ist keine Aussparung vorhanden (s. Abb. 2).
Please note the recess (see fig. 1) of the tank ring on models built from
2022 onwards. Models before year of manufacture 2022 do not have a recess (see Fig. 2).

Wichtig / Important:
Wenn Sie sich nicht sicher sind,wie man eine bestimmte Arbeit ausführt, sollten Sie diese Ihrer Fachwerkstatt überlassen.
Ziehen sie alle zugänglichen Schrauben zuerst nur locker an. Nachdem alles montiert ist, werden die Schrauben dann auf das entsprechende Anzugsmoment festgezogen. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass das Produkt spannungsfrei angebaut ist. Anzugsmomente beachten! Nach der Montage alle Verschraubungen auf festen Sitz kontrollieren!
If you are not sure how to execute a determined action, you should ask your local distributor to do it. First, tighten all screws only loosely. After mounting all parts, the screws should be tightened to the torque specified. This guarantees, that the product is mounted without tension. Observe the tightening torques of the manufacturer! Control all screw connections after the assembling for tightness!
Vorbereitende Maßnahmen / Preparatory actions
Die originale Tankringeinheit demontieren. Dazu den Tankdeckel öffnen und die 4 Befestigungsschrauben entfernen.
Die komplette Einheit abnehmen.
Tipp: Einen Lappen in den Einfüllstutzen stecken, um das Reinfallen einer Schraube zu vermeiden.
Disassemble the original tankring unit. Open the fuel cap and disassemble the original screws. Remove the complete unit.
Tip: Insert a rag in the filler neck to avoid the screws to fall inside the tank.
Montageanleitung / Installation Instruction
Umbau des Tankdeckels:
Die beiden Kreuzschlitzschrauben am
Scharnier des originalen Tankdeckels lösen und den Tankdeckel aus dem
Rahmen nehmen, Schrauben entfallen.
Den Tankdeckel in den Hepco&Becker
Austauschrahmen einlegen und mit den
Senkschrauben M3x8 wieder festschrauben.

Modification of the filler cap:
Dismantle the two phillips screws on the original filler cap and remove the plastic holder. Remove the filler cap from the tankring frames.Screws are obsolete.
Insert the filler cap in the Hepco & Becker replacement frame and secure it with the two countersunk M3x8 screws.
Befestigung am Motorrad:
Die umgebaute Tankringeinheit wieder auf den Motorradtank aufsetzen und mit den Originalschrauben befestigen.
Attaching on the bike:
Put the converted tankring unit back onto the tank and secure it with the original screws.
Achtung / Attention:
Nach der Montage alle Verschraubungen auf festen Sitz kontrollieren! Abgebaute Teile wieder montieren.
