BENDEL TORNADOR VAQ is a powerful and versatile Wet and Dry Vacuum Cleaner that can be used for a variety of cleaning tasks. General safety instructions and individual safeness
Attention
• You need to read, understand and follow the complete instruction manual and the safety briefing BEFORE USE. Afterwards the instruction needs to be kept at a adequate place, accessible for any user.
• The unit may only be used, cleaned and maintained by persons who understand and follow this instruction. The operator must be in physically condition to utilize the tool.
• Improper use or unauthorized modification will cause serious health damage by yourself, somebody else or animals and other property.
• Individual safety instructions from the related countries needs to be observed additional.
• Make sure that the tool is out of range for children or other persons who are not familiar with the handling of the unit. Switching on the device by such persons is dangerous.
Workplace hazards:

Individual safeness
• Only use the tool in well-rested conditions.

• Always disconnect the device from power supply when not in use, before changing accessories or maintenance to avoid starting the tool by mistake.
• Always check the unit, hoses, cables and fittings for damages or loose before use.
• Long hairs and loose clothing could tangled up in the suction hose and cause serious hurts.
• Keep away packaging, especially films, from children due to the risk of suffocation.
• Risk of fire: Do not vacuum burning, glowing or hot subjects.

Power supply
• Only connect the unit to a power supply fitting 220-240V AC with 50/60Hz
Risk of electric shock
• Never touch the plug or electrical outlet with clammy hands. Creeping current could cause a mortal electrical shock.
• Do not disconnect the cable by pulling the cord. Always pull the plug.
• Check the power cord for damages before every use. Do not operate the unit with a defective cord.
• Let the power cord check by a electrician if you have detected a damage.
• Protect the unit from rain and moisture.
• We recommend to use the unit only on a power outlet equipped with a current circuit breaker with max. 30mA.
• Do not vacuum liquids or materials which will produce dangerous vapours or mixtures in combination with suction air. These are explosives or flammable liquids, gases and dust and coating powder like magnesium, zinc and aluminium in combination with alkaline or acid cleaning agents. Also all paint thinners, oil and petrol.
• Always unplug the unit before maintenance, cleaning or opening.
Environment protection
• Please do not place the packaging in the household garbage. Instead of this take care to dispose it at a related waste management company and do the same later on if you intend to dispose the unit after several years of use.
• Filter and bags could be disposed through the regular household garbage if you have not vacuumed any substances that are not allowed to be disposed in that way.

• Do not lay down the device before all the rotary parts stopped.
• Do not keep the tool running while carrying it.
• Maintain a firm grip on the power tool and position your body and arm to allow you to resist kickback forces. Always use auxiliary handle, if provided, for maximum control over kickback or torque reaction during start-up. The operator can control torque reactions or kickback forces, if proper precautions are taken.
• Never place your hand near the rotating accessory. Accessory may kickback over your hand.
• Switch off the unit immediately in case of blocking or twist. Disconnect the power supply and do not switch on again until the problem is solved. Understand the reason why the tool has been blocked and make sure that this situation will not occur once more by counteract accordingly.

Maintenance:
• Damaged or worn out parts should be replaced only by licensed original parts. Get in contact with your dealer or a authorized service station for support. Using unlicensed parts male functions could occur followed by possible hurts of health.

Operation:
• To vacuum liquids it´s necessary to remove both filters (G) (H).
• The filters (G) (H) needs to be installed if you intend to vacuum dust and objects to prevent damages on the motor.
• Connect the hose assembly to the intake fitting, the power cord to the electrical socket and switch on the unit.
• The tool is equipped with a float lever which will stop the motor in liquid suction mode if the tank is full. Disconnect the power cord and open the unit to drain the tank.
• In dry mode you can optional use paper- or polyester bags to collect the dust and objects. Ask your dealer for the related original accessories.
Cleaning:
• Disconnect the power cord and open the unit.
• Wash out the filter (G) (H) with water and a soft cleaning agent frequently.
• Make sure the filters are dry before reinstall them.
• A polluted sponge filter needs to be cleaned or replaced. You need to unscrew the filter cage for replacement.
• If you recognize a damage on one of the filter (E) (G) (H) you need to replace them immediately.
• Drain the tank as soon as possible.
