How do I calibrate the Cleco P-15?

With no load on the analyzer, remove the torsion bar retainer and loosen the cap screw approximately 3 turns. Pull the torsion bar out approximately 2 inches. If the pointer reads high, rotate the torsion bar clockwise, facing the rear of the analyzer. Turn one revolution for each 1 in.lb. error at the 150 in.lbs. reading. If the pointer reads low, turn the torsion bar counterclockwise. Push the torsion rod back into position, rotating slightly to locate the socket at the far end. Install the test wheel and a 2-1/2 pound counterbalance on the analyzer and remove the flywheel assembly. Rotate the torsion bar until the pointer reads exactly 10 in.lbs. and tighten the cap screw to 215 in.lbs. (24.3 Nm) of torque. Replace the torsion bar retainer and repeat the dead weight test as previously described.
