Connect the mounting bracket to the back of the controller using the provided screws. Place the controller assembly over the actuator until it snaps into position. Connect the valve assembly to the water line, ensuring the flow arrow on the valve indicates the correct direction. Turn on the water to detect any leakage and return the manual override to AUTO.

How do I install the LC-1 valve assembly?

  1. Insert the O-ring (Parker Nq 2-006) and ensure it's properly positioned. Don't lose the O-ring.
  2. Screw the actuator clockwise until it reaches the bottom of the cavity. Don't use tools to tighten it and avoid overtightening.
  3. Connect the valve assembly to the water line, ensuring the flow arrow on the valve points in the correct direction.
  4. After connecting to the water system, open the water valve to check for leaks (open and close the valve using the actuator's manual control). Return the manual control to the AUTO position.
  5. Rotate the red arrow 180 degrees to your desired position.

How can zones or valves be manually opened?

Valves (or stations) can be manually opened using two methods: 1. Using the controller buttons (pressing the FPL button for the flashing station). 2. Using the mechanical manual override (turn the arrow COUNTER-CLOCKWISE 180°, then return to AUTO. If you wish to keep it open, keep the arrow pointed in the 180° direction).
