Step One : Check contents of the hardware kit as listed below.

Step Two : Locate one front support bracket, left side, one rear support bracket, left side, four 8mm bolts, ten 8mm flat washers, six 8mm split lock washers, four 8mm hex nuts, and two 8mm hex bolts.
Position the front support bracket under the left side of the vehicle behind the front tire. (Fig #2) Secure the support bracket to the vehicle with the hardware listed in this step. Position the rear support bracket in front of the rear tire and secure the bracket to the vehicle with the remaining hardware listed in this step. (Fig #1) Do not fully tighten hardware at this time.
Step Three : Locate the left side bar, two 3” plastic rings, two 12mm hex bolts, two 12mm flat washers and two 12mm split lock washers.
Position the side bar under the vehicle and secure the bar to the support brackets with the hardware listed in this step. (Fig #3) Fully tighten all hardware at this time. Torque 8mm bolts to 30 ft-lbs. Fully tighten all hardware used thus far at this time.

Step Four : Repeat steps two and three on opposite side of vehicle.
Be sure to use all hardware supplied and tighten all bolts.
