System Accessories
For air hose (C) connections, see Fig 1.
Install an air line filter (Dl to remove dirt and moisture
from the air supply. Downstream from the filter, install
an air line oiler (E)for automatic air motor lubrication.
Set the oiler feed rate a t 1 to 3 drops per minute. See
ACCESSORIES on page 3.
Set the air motor 19) in the opening in the cover (1)
as shown in Fig 1. Secure with the two setscrews
(18). using the allen wrench (10).
2. Slide the coupling (19) onto the shaft of the air

motor, then insert the agitator shaft

Position the agitator and cover
assembly on topof a
5 gal. pail of paint (A). Tighten the three thumbscrews (5).
NOTE:
If you are using a suction tube (6). install it
in the port near the center of the cover.

OPERATION
Regulate the agitator speed with the air metering valve speed agitation
in this case, loosen the thumbscrews (5)

If the agitator operation is erratic or sluggish, clean the
air motor (9) as follows:
1. Remove the muffler 122) and fill the muffler cavity
with kerosene.
Replace
the muffler.
2. Allow a soaking period of 5 to 10 minutes, then run
the agitator slowly until all the kerosene is blown
out. If the operation is still sluggish, flush again.
NOTE:
Do not disassemble the air motor yoursalf.
Contact a Graco authorized service depot.
