This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
SYNCING KEYBOARD TO 1PAD
Slide the ON / OFF switch on the keyboard to on, and press the “Connect” button. The Bluetooth
indicator light will flash as the keyboard enters pairing mode and will be ready to pair with the iPad.
Select the “Settings” icon on your iPad's screen and turn on “Bluetooth” under the “General”
settings on the iPad. The iPad will search for devices to pair.
The iPad will find and highlight “Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard”in the devices list. Select this device.
You will be prompted to enter an input code which will be displayed on the iPad. Enter this code on
the keyboard and press enter to complete pairing. Note the code needs to be entered correctly to
complete the pairing process.
Syncing of the keyboard with the iPad will only be required first time and will
automatically connect each time after initial syncing.
PAIR KEYBOARD WITH ANDROID TABLETS
A
Press the keys and hold keys while switching on the ON/OFF switch.
The Bluetooth light will flash and the keyboard will enter pairing mode.
On the Android Tablet click the “Application” icon and choose the “settings” option.
Under “settings” turn on the Bluetooth function and click “Scan for devices”. The tablet will
search for surrounding Bluetooth devices.
After searching, “Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard” will be found. Select this keyboard for pairing.
To complete pairing and input code will be required to be entered on the keyboard (see iPad
syncing for information]. On entering the correct code the keyboard will successfully be paired
and the Bluetooth light will turn off to confirm pairing.
KEYBOARD CHARGING
The keyboard is designed to charge by the GCell indoor solar cell. When the keyboard is operated
for extended periods in low light or during excess operation the keyboard can also be charged by a
Micro USB cable from a USB 3V source.
The battery status of the keyboard is
« 80% plus: Indicator green

« Under 20%: Indicator red (flashing)

When charging the keyboard by USB the charge indicator light is red when during charging and
green on completion.
Please note that the keyboard is optimised for continuous charging via the integrated indoor solar
cell. We recommend allowing 15-18 hours for charging by Micro USB.
Instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur
in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined
by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna / Increase the distance between the equipment and receiver / Connect the equipment to an
outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected / Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for
help. This equipment complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: 1. This equipment may
not cause harmful interference. 2. This equipment must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation. Modifications not authorized by the manufacturer may void the user's authority to operate this device.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Ensure the keyboard is switched OFF when not in use to conserve the system energy.
When not in use expose the keyboard to ambient indoor light when possible to harvest maximum energy.
(Recommended level being 200-1000 Lux).
If the keyboard is stored for long periods, ensure that the keyboard is charged above 50% capacity.
Do not place any heavy objects on the keyboard and folio and avoid dropping the keyboard or folio onto hard surfaces.
Do not spill any water or liquids onto the keyboard as this will affect the function and life. If liquids are spilled onto keyboard,
switch OFF and place with the keys down to dry naturally. Note do not use extra heat to force dry as the keyboard contains
a battery.
To clean the keyboard wipe with a clean dry cloth when the keyboard is powered OFF.
TROUBLE SHOOTING GUIDE
Cannot connect the keyboard to the iPad
Make sure that the keyboard is synced correctly. Power the keyboard off and try again.
Make sure the keyboard and tablet are within 10 meters range.
Check if the pairing device has changed. Unpair and try again.
If the device has reached its pairing limit, unpair some devices from the iPad.
When switching on the keyboard make sure that the Bluetooth icon on the iPad shows “paired” before typing.
If the iPad is switched off due to limited power, wait at least 3 seconds for the pairing as the iPad searches previous Bluetooth
connected devices.
Any connection issues after updating iOS, select “Forget this Device” under the iPad Bluetooth settings and re-sync the keyboard.

Remember to turn off the iPad screen when the iPad is not being used. Setting the Auto-lock time can also help conserve
iPad power if forgetting to turn off.
Battery Precaution
Do not expose the product to temperatures outside of the temperatures highlighted in the specification.
Please dispose of the product as you would with an exhausted battery.
Lock and Sleep
Please turn off iPad when not in use or set the auto-lock
The keyboard has an automatic sleep function after five minutes of no use.
