The Flex VUE Transmitter uses two disposable AA alkaline batteries. To change the batteries, separate the battery compartment from the outer housing by loosening the four screws on the compartment. Replace the batteries, orienting them according to the diagrams on the inside of the compartment. Reinsert the compartment into the outer housing, ensuring it is properly aligned, and tighten the screws.

To turn the transmitter on, ensure the Machine Stop switch is in the raised position. Insert the power switch key into the slot and rotate it clockwise to the ON position. The transmitter will initialize and enter Normal Operating Mode. To turn the transmitter off, rotate the OFF-ON-START switch to the OFF position or depress the Machine Stop switch.

The Machine Stop switch is a red button located on the left side of the transmitter. It is used for emergency stopping only. When depressed, it immediately opens the Machine Stop relay in the receiver, halting the operation of the controlled equipment.
