PAGE TITLE
➢
➢
➢
➢
➢
The title of a page is the single most important factor in getting that page to rank well for your targeted keywords. In fact, the title tag has the most SEO power of any tag on the page for establishing keyword relevance. The content of the title tag is also used for the blue-link text shown in the search engine results pages. Avoid putting in a generic, site-wide title tag
(example your company name) that contains little or no keywords found in the content of each page.
All titles should be typed in Title Case (or Proper Case).
Titles should be written to clearly indicate what is available on the page.
Every page must have a unique title. Do not put the same title on every page of your website.
The title must be able to stand on its own and clearly communicate the contents of the page to the reader.
Home page titles should clearly indicate what is available on the page, AND for the purpose of web credibility they should clearly indicate what organization is represented on the page.
Figure 23.0 – Additional Settings - Page Title - Titles for Pages
PromoBullit Stores Admin Manual 67
META KEYWORDS
A meta keywords tag is supposed to be a brief and concise list of the most important themes of your page. It's very important that you add the keywords you want your site to be found under in your KEYWORD tag. If a search engine spider finds the same words on your website and in your meta tags, these words will be ranked higher in the search index.
Meta keywords tags should adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Keep your list of keywords or keyword phrases down to 10-15 unique words or phrases;
2. Separate the words or phrases using a comma (you do not need to leave a space between words separated by commas);
3. Do not repeat words or phrases;
4. Put your most important word or phrases at the beginning of your list.
META DESCRIPTION
The meta description tag is intended to be a brief and concise summary of your page's content. Think of the
Yahoo! directory. You see your site title followed by a brief description of your site or business. The meta description tag is designed to provide a brief description of your site which can be used by search engines or directories. You should limit the meta description to 170 to 200 characters at most.

How to Use Custom Shipping Formulas
Custom shipping formulas give the store admin the freedom to define formulas that the eStore will use to determine shipping costs. There are many factors involved in determining shipping cost, including weight, the size of shipping cartons, packing fees, etc. Using a formula lets you tweak the calculations to meet individual program requirements.
PromoBullit Stores Admin Manual 93
Available Variables
items_total - the total for all the products in cart. No tax, no discount applied.
quantity - total quantity of all products
Notes: The formula can contain only the above mentioned variables and the following arithmetic operators: "*", "/", "+", "-" and parentheses "(" and ")" . The formula supports the ternary operator and the logical "||" as OR and "&&" as AND. The ternary expression (expr1) ?
(expr2) : (expr3) evaluates to expr2 if expr1 evaluates to TRUE, and expr3 if expr1 evaluates to FALSE.
Advanced Example:
formula="5 + (items_total <= 50 ? 25 : (items_total > 50 || quantity >= 100 ? 35 : 45))"
The above formulas defines:
1. Charge $5 as a base charge
2. Then of the total of items is less than or equal $50, charge $25 shipping. If the total of items is higher than fifty, or total number of items ordered is 100 or higher, then charge $35 shipping.
Examples:
1. Shipping cost for entire region
$10 shipping for any destination in Canada.
[CA] formula=10
2. Shipping for a specific region (Alberta Canada)
$10 base rate plus 5% of the total items for any destination in Alberta Canada.
[CA/AB] formula=10+( items_total*0.05)
3. Complex Formula for tiered shipping rates
NOTE! No line breaks allowed in formulas.
formula = "(items_total <= 500 ? 25 : (items_total > 500 && items_total <= 750 ? 32.5 :
(items_total > 750 && items_total <= 1000 ? 38.5 : (items_total > 1000 && items_total <=
1250 ? 42.5 : (items_total > 1250 && items_total <= 1500 ? 52.5 : (items_total > 1500 && items_total <= 1750 ? 59.5 : (items_total > 1750 && items_total <= 2000 ? 65 : 69.5 )))))))"
The above formula is equivalent to:
Up to $500 = $25.00
$500 - $750 = $32.50
$750 - $1000 = $38.50
$1000 -$1250 = $42.50
$1250 -$1500 = $52.50
$1500-$17500 = $59.50
