1 Safety
1.1 Safety precautions
DANGER!
High risk: The lightning flash and armmowhead within the triangle
is a warning sign alerting you of "Dangerous Voltage" inside
the product that can cause an electrical shock, bodily injury,
or death.
WARNING!
Medium risk: The exclamation mark within the triangle sign
alerts the user to important instructions accompanying the
unit.
CAUTION!
Low risk: Alerts the user to the risk of damage to the unit.
WARNING!
“To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus
to rain or moisture." or equivalent.
CAUTION!
Apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
1.2 Important safety instructions

1.3 System ground/Safety ground
System (video) ground is indicated by the symbol ®.
Safety (power) ground is indicated by the symbol ®.
The system ground is only used to comply with safety standards
or installation practices in certain countries. Bosch does not
recommend connecting system ground to safety ground unless
it is explicitly required. However, if the system ground and
safety ground are connected and grounding loops are causing
interference in the video signal, use an isolation transformer
(available separately from Bosch).
CAUTION!
Connecting System ground to Safety ground may result in
ground loops that can disrupt the CCTV system.
1.4 Service Instructions
CAUTION!
“These servicing instructions are for use by qualified service personnel
only. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not perform any servicing
other than that contained in the operating instructions unless you are

4 Installation
CAUTION!
The camera module is a sensitive device and must be
handled carefully. Installation should only be performed
by qualified service personnel.

To disassemble the unit proceed as follows:
1. Stick the guide pattern on the wall or ceiling.
2. Drill four holes according to the guide pattern then insert
anchors into the drilled holes.
3. Draw out power / video wires to the connecting places.
4, Attach the camera base to the ceiling or wall using the
supplied three screws.
5. Cover the camera bracket with inner dome after adjust
desired focus and scene by turning and moving 3-axis
by hand
6. Adjust desired focus and scene by turning and moving
the 3-axis camera bracket by hand.

. Align dome cover over base and snap into place to lock.
8. Fix the dome cover on the base by covering.

between ESC and DC using the LEFT or RIGHT button.

- Select BRIGHTNESS using the UP or DOWN button.
You can adjust between 0~20 using the LEFT or RIGHT button.
2. FLK (FLICKERLESS)
- Select FLK using the UP or DOWN button. You can select
between ON / OFF using the LEFT or RIGHT button.

3. SHUTTER (Adjusts the shutter speed of the lens.)
- Select SHUTTER using the UP or DOWN button.
You can adjust from 1/60(1/50), 1/120(1/100), 1/250, 1/500,
1/700, 1/1K, 1/1600, 1/2500, 1/5K, 1/7K, 1/10K, 1/30K,
1/60K, 1/120K(sec) level using the LEFT or RIGHT button.
6.3 WHITE BAL (White Balance)
Select WHITE BAL using the UP or DOWN button.
You can select from ATW, MANUAL, PUSH using the LEFT
or RIGHT button.

- Color temperature is automatically adjusted to
2,000°kK~10,000°K

- To set a certain color temperature with RED CONT, BLUE CONT
- Select MANUAL using the UP or DOWN button and press
the MENU button to activate WB MANUAL option.

- BLUE : To adjust density of BLUE ( 0- 160)
3. PUSH : If the set color temperature does not meet your
environment, press the MENU button to adjust
the color temperature to desired setting.

6.4 AGC (Automatic Gain Control )
Select AGC using the UP or DOWN button. You can select
between OFF, ON using the LEFT or RIGHT button.
1. ON : Select ON using the LEFT or RIGHT button and press
the MENU button to activate AGC option.

- Select BfW using the LEFT or RIGHT button and press

2. DNR (Digital Noise Reduction)
: To reduce the image noise especially during the low
ambient lighting conditions.
- Select DNR using the UP or DOWN button. You can adjust
between OFF, LOW, MIDDLE, HIGH using the LEFT or
RIGHT button.
3. SHARPNESS : To adjust SHARPNESS of the image.
- Select SHARPNESS using the UP or DOWN button.
- Select + and press the MEUN button to activate
SHARPNESS option.
- You can adjust the sharpness from 0~20 using the LEFT
or RIGHT button.

0.35, 0.45, 0.6, 0.75, using the LEFT or RIGHT button.

: To reset to factory default only on the IMAGE ADJ mode.
- Select INITIAL using the UP or DOWN button and reset
the IMAGE ADJ mode using the MENU button.
10. RETURN : To return to MAIN MENU
- Select RETURN using the UP or DOWN button and return
to MENU using the MENU button.

7.1 Resolving problems
The following table is intended to help you identify the causes
of malfunctions and correct them when possible.

Customer service
If you cannot resolve a fault, please contact your supplier or
system integrator, or contact Bosch Security Systems
Customer Service directly.
The Installer should write down all information regarding
the unit so that it can be referenced for warranty or repair.
The version number of the firmware and other status information
can be seen under the General section. Note down this
information and the information found on the camera label
before contacting customer service.

8.1 Repairs
CAUTION!
Never open the casing of the camera. The unit does not
contain any user serviceable parts. Ensure that all maintenance
or repair work is performed only by qualified personnel
(electrical engineering or network technology specialists).
If in doubt, contact your dealer's technical service center.
8.1.1 Transfer and disposal
The camera should only be passed-on together with this
installation guide. The unit contains environmentally hazardous
materials that must be disposed of according to law. Defective
or superfluous devices and parts should be disposed of
professionally or taken to your local collection point for
hazardous materials.
