1.1
Safety Information:
High-Voltage and Ultraviolet Exposure:
The lamp connector at the rear of the power supply has a maximum of 230 volts RMS.
•
•
•
Do not turn on the power supply unless lamp socket is attached.
Do not operate the power supply unless the lamp socket is properly installed in a
suitable lamp house.
There are no user serviceable components inside the case.
Please refer all service to your dealer.
Failure to observe these precautions will result in exposure to high voltage and
ultraviolet light.
1.2
Fuse Information:
This unit is internally fused by a re-settable thermal breaker rated at 3.0 amps. In the
event of an overload, wait 2 minutes for cool down before pushing the breaker reset
button located on the rear panel. If the unit trips again, service is required.
1.3
Warning Notice:
The high-voltage warning symbol (a lightning bolt in a white triangle) on the rear panel
indicates terminals have voltage and should be handled appropriately.
2
1.4
Front Panel:
The recessed push button will reset the lamp timer to zero. This is used when a new
lamp is installed. Typical lamp life is 100 hours.
Main Power Switch:
The main power switch turns lamp on or off. When switched on, the lamp will glow
dimly for a few seconds. After 2 minutes, the bulb will grow to its full brightness. A hot
lamp will not light immediately and may take 5 minutes to light.

1.5
Rear Panel:
2.0 Installation
Verify the L1/L2 switch on the rear panel is set consistent with the marking on the lamp
shipping box. Ensure that the lamp is properly mounted in the socket and the socket is
installed properly in the lamp house. Connect the cord from lamp socket to the
connector on the rear panel. Verify lamp type setting and connections. Connect the line
cord to a 110 VAC, 60Hz power outlet. Turn on main power switch.
2.1
Failure of Lamp to Ignite
The lamp will usually turn on within 10 seconds. If the lamp fails to ignite it is usually an
indication of a bad lamp, open cable or socket.
Note: Refer all service to your dealer.
