Battery installing guide for EV4 Bike
Remove all of the side screws from the battery cover
Remove all of the top screws from the battery cover
Loosen the front main bolt on the battery cover
Lift the battery cover or remove it completely for easier access.
Notice the layout of protection foam
Insert the battery into the casing. The cables must face towards the back. All relevant cables have been marked with numbers. Connect them carefully. Cables without a number don’t need to be connected to anything.
We recommend using small amount of isolation tape to wrap all of the connectors.
This is to ensure that they don’t disconnect or short circuit during use.
Place the protection foam between the battery and loose cables.
Now, place the controller and cables on the protection foam
Place the sponge on top of everything and close the battery cover
Secure the cover with front main bolt.
Reinsert all of the side screws.
Last step is to reinsert all of the top screws and enjoy the ride.
If the EV4 does not start please check if all cables were properly connected. Wires that haven’t a number attached to them don’t need to be connected to anything. If the vehicle still does not start please refer to the manual to check the fuse or contact the manufacturer for advice.
