Remove all shelves from the appliance. Fig. 3 700276 13 / 24 Installation and operation • • • • Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight or in the vicinity of heat sources (cooker, radiator, heating devices, etc.). Heat sources may negatively affect power consumption, and restrict functions of the appliance, too. Place the appliance so that sufficient air circulation is ensured. In order to avoid damage to the compressor, do not tilt the appliance more than 45° when positioning or transporting it. If the appliance is to be relocated, follow the instructions below: – disconnect the plug from the socket; – take out contents of the appliance; – tape firmly all loose elements in the internal chamber and tape the door; – the appliance may only be transported in vertical position. NOTE! Two persons are needed for setting the appliance! EN Fig. 4 • • Fig. 5 The ventilation opening in the top part of the cooler may not be obstructed; it is necessary to provide for uninterrupted air circulation. Maintain a minimum clearance of 10 cm between the top side of the appliance and objects that are above it (e.g., a cabinet) (Fig. 5). 14 / 24 700276 Installation and operation ATTENTION! If the provided clearance values are not observed, the power consumption rises or the compressor overheats. • • • • If the appliance is to be installed in a corner, maintain a lateral clearance of at least 200 mm (Fig. 4). Set the appliance on a level surface; it may not lean against a wall. If needed, adjust height by rotating front feet: – clockwise, to raise the front part of the appliance; – counter-clockwise, to lower the front part of the appliance. If the refrigerator is set with very minute tilt backwards, the door closes automatically. NOTE! Both front feet must be at the same height. EN 700276 15 / 24 Installation and operation Power supply connection • • • • • Verify if technical data of the appliance (see rating plate) correspond with the local electric power grid specification. Connect the appliance to a single, properly grounded mains socket with protective contact. Do not connect the appliance to a multi-socket. The power cord should be laid in a way preventing anyone from threading on it or tripping against it. If during installation the appliance was tilted by more than 30°, wait for at least 4 hours before connecting the appliance to power supply. Otherwise, the compressor may malfunction. After switching off (for cleaning, repair, re-location, etc.), the appliance may be switched back on to the power supply no earlier than after 15 minutes. Changing the Hinge Side • EN • • The hinges of beverage bottle coolers may be changed from right to left, as needed. Engage at least one more person to change the cooler door's hinge side. The following tools are required: flat spanner No. 8 and 10, Phillips screwdriver. ATTENTION! Before changing the door's hinge side, disconnect the appliance and pull the plug out of the socket. Do not place the appliance in horizontal position in order to change the door's hinge side. 16 / 24 700276 Installation and operation EN Fig. 6 1. Undo two bolts (7, Fig. 6) and remove the bottom support from the hinge (8), together with the set of washers (6) on the axis, as well as intermediate element (5). 2. Undo bolts (7) and remove the support from the hinge (11). 3. Remove the door (4). 4. Undo the bearing journal (2), together with a nut (1) and washers (3), out of the top support of the hinge. 5. Install the entire set at the opposite side of the door. 6. First, rotate the door (4) by 180º, and then slide the top bearing journal (2) into the door (4) and hang the door (4). 7. Undo fastening bolts (12) from the door and remove the door handle (13). 8. Install the door handle (13) at the opposite side. 9. Close the openings for bolt with expansion plugs. The plate (10) remains in its place. 700276 17 / 24 Installation and operation 10. First, slide the bearing journal (2) in the door, and then install the bottom hinge support (8) with the set of washers and gaskets at the opposite side of the cooler. 11. Install the hinge support (11) at the opposite side of the cooler. 5.2 Operation Tips for the user • • • • EN • • Shelves may be positioned at various heights. Arrange them adequately to the size of beverage/containers with food product, so that the inner space of the appliance is used optimally. Beverages and food products in containers should be arranged on the shelves so that proper distances between them allow for sufficient air circulation inside the appliance. Insufficient distances hinder the cooling effect. To limit loss of cold air minimize the opening time of door during operation. Also, do not open the door too frequently. If possible, in the event of a sudden power failure, avoid opening doors in order to avoid loss of cool air. The power supply to the refrigerator should not be interrupted for more than 10 minutes. If the appliance is switched off for a longer period of time, the door of the refrigerator should remain open. 18 / 24 700276 Installation and operation Before First Use 1. Prior to first operation, clean the appliance and its equipment according to instructions in section 6 'Cleaning'. 2. To end with, dry the appliance and accessories thoroughly. 3. Introduce the shelves into the appliance at the selected height. 4. Plug the appliance into a suitable single socket. The green power indicator light will come on. 5. Set the required temperature, observing indications in section 'Temperature Control'. 6. Close the appliance door. 7. Before first use and before putting any beverages and food products into the appliance, the appliance should reach the required temperature. It takes approximately 2–3 hours. Temperature Control (Fig. 1) The temperature is set by rotating the temperature controller (2) in the inner chamber of the appliance. With closed refrigerator door, the set level may be read on the temperature level display (3). The temperature may be set in the range of 0–5: 0 — compressor is disconnected. ATTENTION! The appliance is still connected to the power supply. 1 — the highest temperature (the weakest cooling) 5 — the lowest temperature (the strongest cooling) NOTE! If products in the refrigerator are too cold, set the temperature controller to levels 1–2. If products are chilled to an insufficient degree, use the temperature setting of 3, 4 or 5. 700276 19 / 24 EN Cleaning and Maintenance Switching the LED Lighting ON/OFF 1. If needed, switch the LED lighting off with a suitable switch (1, Fig. 1). Switching the Appliance OFF 1. If the appliance is not used any more, rotate the temperature controller to '0' position (2, Fig. 1). 2. Disconnect the appliance from power supply (pull the plug out). 6 Cleaning and Maintenance 6.1 • • • • EN • Safety Instructions for Cleaning Before cleaning, disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Leave the appliance to cool down completely. Make sure water does not enter the appliance. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids during cleaning.
