OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
Driver Air System Motor Assemblies
Driver Air Systems draw air from inside the driver compartment, or outside the car, depending on which motor assembly is used. Each motor is constructed of the finest materials and components available. Like other fine equipment, it will serve you better and longer if you give it reasonable care. 12 volt motor features two speeds and must be wired to a single pole, double throw (SPDT) on-off-on switch as follows:
Red Wire – Connect to a switched 12V [+] for low speed.
Orange Wire – Connect to a switched 12V [+] for high speed.
Black Wire – Connect to a clean chassis ground.
For best results, please follow these tips:
ALL13000 - Mount pump where it is most likely to pick up clean air.
ALL13001 - Once direction of inlet for fresh air top is determined, apply clear silicone sealant around perimeter of top base to assure a positive seal against motor housing. Allow sealant to dry completely before using air system.
• If possible, mount with rubber washers to help absorb shock.
• Although the pump will operate in any position, do not mount where filter bonnet will hold dust, dirt or other matter.
• Every attempt has been made to seal the motor assembly, however, it is not guaranteed against water or moisture. The entire unit should be covered with a plastic bag or similar material when washing the car as water may enter through the filter or hose end.
