The following checklist will assist you in site preparation for your BUCHI instrument. Careful attention to the requirements presented in this document will help simplify instrument installation and ensure that the instrument operates as it was designed.

Pre-installation checklist
All appropriate items in this checklist must be completed, signed and returned to BUCHI. Re-turn your checklist as soon as your laboratory is ready and functional for prompt installation of your
KjelMaster. If you are performing self-installation, please check the box f or self-installation below and return the form to BUCHI.
Environmental requirements
Ambient Temperature 5 to 35°C
Humidity Maximum relative humidity 80 % for temperatures up to 31 °C decreasing linearly to 50 % relative humidity at 40 °C
Altitude max. 2000m above sea level .
Space requirements
Enough space as defined below: (Width x Depth x Height) min. 280 x 500 x 420 mm
The instrument must have a clearance of 40 cm between itself and the wall, both in front and behind (sufficient cooling).
To ensure that the power can be cut by unplugging in case of an emergency, the mains plug must not be blocked by the instruments or any other items!

Location of the unit
The recirculating Chiller F-100 and F105 must be installed on a clean, level, vibration free surface.
Power requirements
The F-100 / F-105 requires its own standard mains outlet socket. A standard mains cable is supplied.
