STRUCTIONS-PARTS LIST This manual containsIMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS and WARNINGS. READ AND RETAIN FOR REFERENCE. 0 0-0 308-245 Rev A ,ELECTRONICPULSE METER 1500 psi (103 bar) MAXIMUM WORKING PRESSURE Model 223-655, Series C, Pulse Module Model 223-645, Series C, Pulse Module and Meter (pints, quarts and gallons) Model 223-745, Series C, Pulse Module and Meter (liters) - WARNING To reduce the risk of serious injury, including electric shock or splashing fluid in the eyes or on the skin, always follow this procedure before sewicing any part of the metering system and before checking for loose or shorted wires. 2. If youare replacing the pulse module, disconnect its cable, taking noteof the wiring polarity. 3. Remove the screws. Lift off the pulse module. 1. Turn off the control and unplug it. 4. Install a new pulse module(1) or metering unit (2). Align the notches on the underside of the pulse module with the cutaways inthe top of the 2. Shut off the power to the pump(s). 3. Relieve fluidpressure. 1 CAUTION To avoid damaging the electronic components of the pulse meter module(1) : metering unit. Use the new screws and torque them oppositely and evenly to 10-12 in-lb (1.2-1.4 Nm). See Fig 1. 5. Connect the pulse module wiresto the cable, observing the original wiring polarity. 1. Do not lay anything on the pulse module. 2. Be sure the open sideof the pulse module faces up if you layit down. 3. Do not twist or force parts. Align parts properly as instructed. J To install or remove the complete pulse meter 1. Observe the Warning and Caution, above. To replace the electronic pulse module or metering unit 1. Observe the Warning and Caution, left. REPLACEMENT SCREWS INCLUDED WITH ITEMS 1 AND 2 TORQUE OPPOSITELY AND EVENLY TO 10-12 In-lb (1.2-1.4 N.m) 2. Disconnect the cable from thepulse module, taking note of the wiring polarity. 3.
