General Do's and Don'ts
Do MOT attach or remove accessories when the vacuum
cleanerisswitched on.
. Do NOT pulithe cleaner around the reom by the hose,

Be especially careful on stairs.
- Do NOT pull or carry the cleaner by the cord, close a door on
the cord, or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Do
not over extend the cord. Switch the cleaner off and move itto a -
closer power point. Use just enough cord to do the jobs.
Use the carry handle to lift or move the cleaner.
Hyou are moving the cleaner a long way or up a flight of stuirs,
switch off, rewind the power cord and porkihe accessories.
NEVER cperate the cleaner with damaged filters orwith à filter
missing. Use approved filters and regularly clean and replace
them,
Clearing a Blockage
H the cleaner loses suction this may be dua ta clogged filters or
a blockage. DO NOT operate the cleaner if the suction 15
impaired.
If you suspect a bloclkoga:
I Setthe cleaner upright, switch off and unplug immediately.
Emply the dust, check all the filters and clean them.
If this does not remove the blockage:
1 Check the extension tubes und accessories visually and
remove any blockoge with a stick or broom handle,
When you have finished vacuuming:
я Switch off and unplug the appliance.
G Rewind the power cond.
e Disconnect the cccessories and store the cleaner in the
verfical position or place the cleaner normally with the

Removing the Dust
The Dust bag should be emptied ot regulor |
intervals to prevent clegging, with a loss of
suction power and pear cleaning. When the
‘Dust Bag Full indicator goes red the dust
bog must be emptied to avoid damage to
the cleaner -

Cleaning and Replacing the Filters
Clean the wo filters offen. Failure to clean the filters regulariy
will reduce the cleaner efficiency and may shorfen its
lifespan.
The Motor Filter is in a cage atthe rear of the clecner.
Lift off the coverand then remave the filter as shown.
