INSTALLING EXTENSION DUCT
Extension ducts and metal flange openings are the
same diameter. When using the extension ducts with
metal flanges the diameter of the duct must be
enlarged to fit over flange.
1. Hold the duct hose firmly, approximately 6 inches away from
end. Simultaneously rotate the end of the duct clockwise to
increase duct diameter. Usually this procedure takes 2 peo-
ple. See illustration 1.

2. After securing the flange to the tapped holes provided place
the duct over the flange. Again, hold the duct hose approx-
imately 6 inches from the end over flange and rotate the
duct end counterclockwise until the diameter reduces to an
appropriate size. See illustration 2.
