Schneider Electric galvanic isolation board. User Guide
Schneider Electric galvanic isolation board is designed to create a zone of isolation between the motor armature voltage and the RECTIVAR terminal to which the feedback voltage will be connected. It also provides the function of surveillance of the armature voltage on RECTIVAR RTV-74 and 84. The board can be mounted on the power board of RECTIVAR RTV-04, RTV-44, RTV-541, RTV-641, RTV-74, and RTV-84 speed controllers. The maximum armature voltage for the board is 750 V. An offset adjustment potentiometer (P1) on the board allows for customization to the motor armature voltage.

Designed as an option for the RECTIVAR 4 speed controllers, the galvanic isolation board allows a zone of isolation to be created between the motor armature voltage and the RECTIVAR terminal to which the feedback voltage will be connected.
This board is also mounted in series on the RECTIVAR RTV-74 and 84 to provide the function of surveillance of the armature voltage.
Consumption : + 15V : 9 mA
- 15V : 5 mA
Maximum armature U : 750 V
RTV-04 and RTV-44 : Unclip the control board.
RTV-541/641 : tilt the control section and remove connector J12 mounted on the series product.
FOR ALL THE RTV : install the isolation board on the power board by means of the 3 identical Richco type columns, supplied with the board.

Setting
P1
Offset adjustment potentiometer P1 is preset in the factory.
The link enables an adaptation to the motor armature voltage :
For RECTIVAR RTV-04 ; RTV-44 : position 1 : 100V max.
position 2 : 160V max.
For RECTIVAR RTV-541/641, 74/84 : position 1 : 260V max.
position 2 : 460V max.
position 3 : 280V max.
position 4 : 300V max.
position 3 : 570V max.
position 4 : 750V max.
In some instances when the speed is very low or different in the two directions of rotation, it will be necessary to make an adjustment as follows:
1 - Set the RTV into operation as instructed in the relevant operating guide.
2 - Establish a 0-volt reference voltage (OE1-E1 shunted).
- Enable the speed controller: RUN, and FW (or + 10 volts) on reversible products.
- Connect a dc voltmeter to M2+ and M1-.
- Adjust P1 on board VW2RZD2071 for the lowest possible motor voltage
(< 1 volt). Check the setting by enabling RV (or - 10 volts) on reversible products.
