Frequently asked questions

There are four models available: Timy S, Timy XE, Timy P, and Timy PXE. The main difference between the models is the presence of a built-in printer and the type of quartz oscillator used for timing. The S and XE models do not have printers and use standard quartz oscillators, while the P and PXE models have printers and use TCXO oscillators. The XE and PXE models also have an extended temperature range for operational use.

You can select the operation language of the Timy by going to the Menu and choosing GENERAL --> LANGUAGE. Currently, the available languages are English, German, and Italian.

The Timy has several power supply options. You can use an external power supply (PS12A or PS12) or internal batteries. The type of internal battery you can use depends on the Timy model. The Timy P and PXE models require the NC-TIMY battery pack, while the other models can use Alkaline, NiCd, or NiMH batteries.
