XPR Access B100 SA Biometric Reader, RTT Remote Relay Unit User Manual
The B100 SA is a standalone biometric reader that can store up to 97 finger templates. The reader has one relay output and one exit button input. For secure installation, the reader can be connected to a remote relay unit at a secured area, which also plays the role of a request-to-exit push button. The RTT is a remote relay control unit for the B100 SA or DINB100 SA biometric reader. If secure installation is needed, the biometric reader can be connected to the remote relay unit at a secured area, which also plays the role of an exit push button.

The reader can store up to 97 finger templates, it has one relay output and one exit button input. If secure installation is needed, the reader can be connected to remote relay unit at secured area, which also plays the role of request-to-exit push button. Complete setup and programming can be done by scrolling and tapping on the sensor. The sensor incorporates dedicated sensing hardware to facilitate the detection of “spoofing” attacks based on fake fingers. This data is embedded into the image data stream, and is processed on the processor. The system is capable of detecting and defeating well-known fake finger mechanisms, such as molded “gummy” fingers. RTT is remote relay control unit for B100-SA(DINB100-SA) biometric reader. If secure installation is needed, the biometric reader can be connected to remote relay unit at secured area, which also plays the role of exit push button. It has one relay output and one exit button input. www.xprgroup.com 2 2.0 MOUNTING 1. 2. 3. 4. MC-MINI 30mm Ø6.0(3NoS) Cable 5mm 1 (M3 x 6mm) 3 (3 x 30mm) Do not install the device and cabling close to a source of strong electro-magne c fields like radio-transmi ng antenna. Do not place the device near or above hea ng equipments. If cleaning, do not spray or splash water or other cleaning liquids but wipe it out with smooth cloth or towel. Do not let children touch the device without supervision. Note that if the sensor is cleaned by detergent, benzene or thinner, the surface will be damaged and the fingerprint can't be entered. If the biometric reader is installed and used outdoor, the reader MUST be fi ed with the MC-MINI metal cover available in our accessories in order to protect the sensor from direct rainfall. The opera ng temperature of the product is between -20ºC - + 50ºC. If the reader is installed in an environment where the temperature can drop below -10ºC or/and if the sensor could only be exposed to direct sunlight, it is strongly recommended to install the reader inside a third party sealed wall mount box (fi ed with addi onal heater if very low temperature) to keep a constant sensor level performance. XPR™ cannot guarantee the func onality of the product if measures and advice before are not followed. It is also strongly recommended to use double technology biometric readers when use outdoor to offer first higher security but also the possibility to use different readers depending on users. 3.0 SPECIFICATIONS SPECIFICATIONS B100-SA Fingerprint Capacity: Output: Push Button Input: Door Open Time: Entry Mode: Programming: Master/Admin Fingers: Image resolution: Backlight ON/OFF: Buzzer ON/OFF: Firmware upgrade: Current Consumption: Power Supply: Indication: Mounting: IP Factor: Storage/Operating Temperature: Storage/Operating Humidity: Dimensions(mm): 97 templates 1 x Relay (1 A /24V AC/DC) Yes Pulse (1, 3, 5, 10, 20, 30, 60sec) or Toggle(ON/OFF) Finger By scrolling and tapping on the sensor or by keypad 1 Master and 2 Admin Fingers Up to 508 DPI Yes Yes via RS485 converter and windows application 100 mA max. 9-14 V DC Tricolor Status LED and 4 x Programming LEDs Surface mount IP65 -20°C to +50°C 5% to 93% RH without condensation 92 x 51 x 25 B100-SA SPECIFICATIONS RTT Output: Push Bu on Input: Door Time: Backlight ON/OFF: Buzzer ON/OFF: Current Consump on: Moun ng: IP Factor: Opera ng Temperature: Dimensions: www.xprgroup.com 1 x Relay (2A/24V AC/DC) 1 Pulse (1 to 60sec) or Toggle (ON/OFF) Yes Yes 60 mA surface mount IP40 (indoor use only) -20°C to +50°C 92 x 51 x 25 3 RTT 4.0 APPLICATION DIAGRAM RS485 (max. 50m) RTT (Op onal) 1 Relay Remote Unit and request-to-exit Bu on d ure Sec B100-SA a Are Standalone Biometric Reader e tsid Ou 5.0 WIRING B100-SA Standalone Biometric Reader Red Black Pink Violet Blue Green Orange Gray Yellow White RTT 12V DC GND A RS485 B Red Black White Yellow Gray Blue Green Orange Pink Violet Brown 1 Relay Remote Unit and request-to-exit Bu on Tamp Push Button PB NC Relay COM (2A) NO Wiring B100-SA + 12VDC _POWER SUPPLY Red Black Pink Violet Blue Green Orange Gray Yellow White + _ GND (PB) PB NC COM _ 1N4001 Diode + Electro Magnetic Lock Wiring B100-SA + RTT (Remote Relay Unit) Black Yellow COM Black GND Red Brown 12V out Pink Pink A (RS485) Violet NO Violet B (RS485) B100-SA www.xprgroup.com White 1N4007 Red 12 VDC + - RTT 4 + - +12V Power Supply GND NO Relay COM (2A) NC TAMP TAMP PB1 A RS 485 B +12V Out 6.0 RECOMMENDED SWIPING TECHNIQUE Follow the below instructions for correct finger swiping Starting from the first finger joint, place the selected finger on the swipe sensor and move it evenly towards oneself in one steady movement.
