User manual CONDUCTOR LEVEL 1 User manual W3 1 CONDUCTOR 2 Swegon reserves the right to alter specifications 20090310 www.swegon.com CONDUCTOR About CONDUCTOR To use the CONDUCTOR CONDUCTOR is a regulation system for controlling the room temperature and air quality. You can create a comfortable indoor climate by keying heating, cooling and airflow settings in the room unit. When you leave the room, the system automatically regulates the climate until you enter a new temperature or airflow setting. The following section describes how you use the room unit to adjust the room temperature and airflow. The key set You use the key set to raise and lower desired room temperature and increase and decrease desired airflow. In the automatic mode, the CONDUCTOR will regulate heating and cooling dependent on the circumstances in the room: is anyone in the room, is a window open, is the room air humid? This instruction describes how you as day-to-day user of the CONDUCTOR, office worker or hotel guest, using the room unit can manually regulate the heat, coolness and air quality in the room. Display Shows the current status of the climate system and information about the room temperature and airflow. It also shows the settings you enter with the key set. 2 Key set You use it for changing room temperature and air volume settings. 3 Temperature sensor Placed inside the enclosure. N.B.! In that the measurement of the temperature is influenced by the surroundings, the measurement of the room temperature, dependent on where the room unit is located, is not necessarily representative of the actual heating or cooling requirements of the room. 3 Swegon reserves the right to alter specifications 20090310 www.swegon.com CONDUCTOR The Main image The main image shows the current status of the climate system and the temperature and airflow settings. 4 1 5 The field shows present temperature setting. Specified in ˚C. 2 Heating/cooling The field shows whether the climate system is set to heating or cooling. 6 3 Current temperature Heating Cooling 3 Battery level/window status The field shows the battery level. AUTO Automatic ECON Economy STOP Stop EMERG 6 Emergency Presence status Someone is in the room. 4 Swegon reserves the right to alter specifications 20090310 www.swegon.com CONDUCTOR To set the desired room temperature To set the desired airflow You set the desired room temperature in the main image by pressing any of the following keys: ▲ UP or ▼ DOWN. You set the desired airflow in the main menu, by pressing any of the keys ► RIGHT or ◄ LEFT. The first press of the key ( ▲ UP or ▼ DOWN) will take you to the temperature setting menu, without affecting the temperature setting. You can now set your desired room temperature. The first press of the key (► RIGHT or ◄ LEFT) will take you to the airflow adjusting image, without affecting the airflow setting. Figure 5. The airflow adjusting image. Figure 4. The temperature setting image. As in the main image, the desired room temperature can be read in ˚C in the centre of the display. To increase the temperature The airflow rate can be read on the triangular indicator in the centre of the image. Depending on the comfort needs, one of three different levels can be selected: low, normal or high. Press ▲ UP until the desired room temperature can be read in the display. Low airflow Then press OK CONFIRM to confirm your setting. You then return to the main image. High airflow Normal airflow To increase the airflow. To decrease the temperature Press ▼ DOWN until desired room temperature can be read in the display. Then press OK CONFIRM to confirm your setting and return to the main image. Press ► RIGHT until the desired airflow can be read in the display. Then press OK CONFIRM to confirm your setting. You then return to the main image. To decrease the airflow Press ◄ LEFT until desired airflow can be read in the display. Then press OK CONFIRM to confirm your setting and return to the main image.
